I needed a new garage door and opener. Of all the places I looked into, I decided to go with Dodds. The salesperson I had was decent, but dropped the ball many times from prior to the purchase to just after the purchase. I had to contact the company a few times in the interim. I ended up ordering the door I wanted and was told 4-6 weeks. When I ended up contacting the company to find out approximately when the installation would occur, I was told that the door hadn't even begun being built. I was told that the 3rd party company had not received adequate information from Dodd's. That 3rd party company ended up on Christmas holiday shut down. So when my door should have been installed probably mid December, it wasn't actually installed until the end of January. I was told that they would "do something for me" and well I got a whopping $175 off of the capping for the door and that was it. For an over $10000.00 purchase and for such a delay I was shocked. Now, I have other doors I wanted replaced at a later date, but I won't ever use this company again. I even had asked about French doors for my patio and the salesperson said that a particular person would be in touch with me. Well that never occurred. And when I contacted the company about that, I was told...they don't do those kinds of doors. I'm like what??? So as much as I like the door that I ordered and the two installers that came to my home...for that reason alone is why I give 2 stars.

The gentleman at Dodds provided me a fair price, showed up on time and completed the job to spec. My customer was very happy with their service and the product, I will recommend them to other condos I deal with when the time comes. Thanks for all the hard work. Mark

Our garage door was damaged and needed replacement. The sales agent was knowledgeable and suggested we get an insulated door to protect the water pipes in the garage as well keep the bedroom above the g arabesque warmer. He was right! There is an almost 10 degree difference between the outside and interior garage temperatures. Workman arrived on time and cleaned completely when the job was done. Money well spent!

I hired Doods Garage Door Systems to replace my garage door and I don't think I could have been happier with the product or the service. They showed up on time and did a fantastic job! I wish all companies would be like this.

Gears broke on our 10 year old opener. Just age. Couldn’t close the door. Dodd’s, like last time, came within 4 hrs, fixed opener, tightened up chain better than it was before, Greased the tracks and were done in 30-45m. Very efficient, reliable, and honest company.

Called Dodd’s because I had used them before to fix a spring. As a single woman I’m used to companies trying to take advantage of my lack of knowledge in certain aspects of home repair. Dodd’s doesn’t do that. They assess the problem, only fix what’s necessary for very reasonable cost in a very timely manner, and make suggestions (ie. this door is very old, very cheap as I inherited from previous home owner) on options for a new door down the line. Both service calls, I had Art. He’s awesome. Highly recommend him and Dodd’s to anyone needing garage door repairs or replacement.

Referred by a friend. Super friendly people on the phone. After some unexpected delayed email responses, Dodds was apologetic and helpful in getting to the bottom of things and sent someone out that had the parts to fix our old garage door. Bravo. Thanks. Would recommend Dodds to others with old garage doors.

Needed an old failing garage door opener replaced. Discussed a few options and went with a battery backup wifi enabled unit and it’s been great. We don’t have a door into our garage so in a power outage we couldn’t access items in the garage. The battery backup allows us to do so which is great. Also comes with an app and allows remote control of the door and notifications when opened or left open for a set time. Great features to have in a connected world. They also replaced weather stripping and installed a key release for the door. Great Service and quick response to questions. Great company to deal with from staff in office to staff doing the installation. Highly recommended
