I decided to use Dodd’s because of the radio commercial and excellent online reviews and they didn’t disappoint. Laurie their salesman and estimator was very helpful and explained all the different choices. Brian their installer was polite and explained the whole process. The area was spotless when he left.

After having reached JP (the service manager) by phone to explain the issue with my door I also emailed some pictures and explained that my automatic door opener trolley assembly was also damaged and needed replacing. After a few scheduling conflicts a Dodds technician managed to come over and fix the cause of my door opening problem (physical door issue) with but did not bring a new trolley assembly (so I still couldn't really use my door opener although I could still manually open my door). The technician eventually came back for a 2nd visit and replaced the trolley assembly. The technician spent a total of about 1 hour (max) over these 2 visits yet I was charged for 2 hours of service time. I was also charged what appeared to be 5-10x the retail cost of the trolley assembly. When I asked for these charges to be reconsidered all I got was dead air. This unfortunate service experience was a major consideration for me NOT to use Dodds when I shopped for (and acquired) an new garage door.

We had our garage door changed months ago but just getting around to writing. Our door is very nice and we like it a lot. The problem was with the non transparent way of selling the capping around the door. It really completes the look. There was no discussion about the additional cost of capping. The words used were this price includes everything. After the capping guys came around the next week I saw and additional charge on my Visa. The guys doing the capping would not come until I called to pay the balance of the door after install. I thought this was odd since the job wasn't completed. Since Dodds had my Visa number they charged me for capping after completion. What a dirty little trick. The sales person (Mike) did not fully disclose the price of the capping but wrote it separately on the invoice and called it all included in the door price. Well done Dodds! I'm not going to use you again.

Very positive results! The problem with my door was spotted immediately and fixed plus he had all the parts on-site. He was very helpful and informative as well! I would not hesitate to call them again.

We needed a new garage door opener and we looked for local providers and found Dodds which was highly rated. We found them to be extremely easy to deal with and very friendly. The installer was very professional and quick to do the job. I would definitely recommend Dodds Garage Door Systems Inc.

Had our garage doors replaced with Dodds. The cost of around $3000 was within the same price range as other quotes, but I felt better about Dodds. I am glad we went with Dodds as the service from start to finish was great. I would highly recommend Dodds.

Called at 7a on a winter storm day. Chris arrived early afternoon in the midst of freezing rain. Polite, friendly, fixed the springs and also checked and adjusted the power opener. I could not ask for more. Took the old springs away, verified all was working correctly before he left.

My garage door spring broke during the last snow storm. I called Dodds and they had someone out to see me the same day. The technician was amazing - fast and polite. He made sure I understood the problem and showed me the repair once it was done. He also provided me with some great tips to maintain my garage door going forward.

All of Dodd's staff were efficient and professional. It took some time for our replacement parts to arrive at their warehouse; but I understand that this was because our door is older. Positive experience overall. We would definitely recommend Dodd's.
