Fast to take your money, slow in providing service when there was a problem after one of their lawn treatments. Very poor service. We will be going back to using our prior lawn care company.

We had our lawn aerated and treated this spring. The appointment process was quick and easy, and the job was completed as expected. The aeration was done well, and they had signs up on the lawn. My only gripe with the company is the price. Although the work was done well, the company charges 20-30 percent more than other local companies. Other than that, good company and a good job.

I typically won't buy anything at the door, but a Dr Green sales rep caught me in a moment of weakness. I was looking to have someone come and do a power raking and aeration and they conveniently offered to do both. I wasn't too interested in having them apply fertilizer as I can do that myself, but since I wanted the other services I thought I would give it a try. Long story short, they have yet to do the aeration, don't return my calls or respond to email. If they spent more time doing actual lawn services than calling to try to sell re-seeding they might just have some happy customers(they called me at least 6 times in a 2 week period!!) They offer a $50 referral credit? I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy... OK- who am I kidding... Maybe to my WORST enemy, but nobody else...

We found Dr.Green’s service exceptional last year. We previously used a different lawn care provider and were very unsatisfied. Dr. Green comes when they say and do a good job. I requested notification e-mails so that I can ensure my kids toys are not in the way and the dog is cleaned up after, I receive them the day before which gives me lots of time. Dr. Green’s prices are also very comparable to the other providers out there. Thanks for doing a great job!

Poor customer service, broken promises, never returning phone calls. Paid April 26th. They have promised numerous times to come and have only come once for approx 5 mins to throw some fertilized down. They either; run out of time or can't find my house. We call, they promise to get back to us and do not. When they do not show up they simply schedule us for sometime next week. We have been taken, no question. I have started to do the lawn care myself, and yes....the free aeration just doesn't occur.

Initial power raking and fertilization was pathetic. Couldn't even tell it was done. I complained and nothing done. Still had to pay as they said service was up to their standards!! Aeration has been promised since May 14th and everytime I call in they say YES it is still coming, and should be done by Friday. Never happens. PS local number is out of service so only can contact them through Ontario head office. No explanation available for that either. I will never use them agian. Oh and incidentally, I cannot be removed from next year's list they say, I am on a recall list even though I have specifically refused their service!! If a manager reads this...Please call me!

Avoid this company. Made the great pitch at the door. Big seller was free aeration. Of course this never got done dispite 2 phone calls and 3 promise broken on the timing of the aeration. Brochure has list of services that are not carried out such as weed control and PH soil testing. Got prorated refund which worked out to a $45 charge on a one pass fertilization that literally took them 5 minutes. They got more fertilizer on the driveway, sidewalk, road than they did on the lawn (not exactly enviro friendly. Feel totally ripped off. Confirms my belief to never buy anything at your door. Always shady characters with lots of promises but little substance.

Dr Green does not appear to have a good knowlege of the science of lawn care in the Calgary area. My lawn is in good shape I just want weed prevention and some fertilzer. They burned my lawn in several areas with brown patches. Careless use of the spreader or the wrong mixture of fertilizer. This is the second year they have done so.

awful - zero service, these people collected money, promised service and they never showed up. End of may and we lost best time to do the aeration. We don'trecommend even approaching them - they away and don't do same mistake as us!!

The nice young man selling the Dr Green package door to door seemed sincere but he has spent more time on my lawn than any of the service technician. Technicians appear and disappear without notice, even though the office sends out an email the day before a visit, and the whirlwind visits leave little evidence of anything actually being done. Technicians won't ring your doorbell but they always leave a bill. Poor service all around right from lawn technicians to customer service center.
