Buyers BEWARE! We had a sales rep come to our door on June 6th asking us to sign up for their 6 treatment program so we did. We paid up front - first mistake - and were told someone would contact us within a couple of days to come by and do the aeration - we were contact but no one showed up. We called them and were told there was a malfunction with one of the machines - that was over 2 weeks ago and still haven't seen anyone. I wrote and email and still no answer - my husband tried calling a couple of times and finally got an answer today and were told they would come by today to do the aeration but be back in 3 weeks to do the first treatment - it's going to be too late...I have nothing good to say about this company and hope no one else falls into their trap. They don't give refunds and they expect payment upfront for no service.

Do not trust this lawn care company and their web site. They cannot deliver the service and have no refund policy. Once you register to their lawn care program, your blood pressure will go up and drive you nuts.

I called this company to do the seasonal maintinacne last year. I had a serious weed problem over my lawn. They checked they told me that they can maintain it. after the first few visits, they informed that my lawn should be acid washed and either reseeded or put new sod again. I give them the green light to start the process that was some time early MAy. They kept coming to overseed and fertilized the property and keep writing the notes that the lawn in bad condition. I kept calling and trying with the customer service to stop the maintenance program and acid wash the property for more than a month till they finally contacted the contractor here in the city of Waterloo to stop the program. They came acid washed the lawn almost end of June. I was required by that time to take off an the old lawn and put a new soil and sod. I was left with no grass for the whole summer for their careless of dealing with the customers. The surprise that after all this, I found out that the contract was renewed automatically for this year and the contractor came to my house twice when in both cases I stopped them to touch my lawn. They kept saying that they have put a note into my account but they did not stop coming. Every time they showed up in my property I stop them before they start they work and remind that I had no contract with the company. They asked me to call the company and discuss it. I called and they told me that I owe them over $100 for this year. I informed them that I have no service done on my property; they still send me the invoice up to now. I have just finished the property after I re-sod it. Customer service is unbelievably difficult to deal with and the company has a seriously miscommunication problem with their contractors. I am really regretting the business I have done with them.

Paid for services - have to call and complain to get them out. Terrible Calgary service in 2014. Previous years was good - this year nobody shows and all you get are excuses about rain when you call customer support. I'm done with these clowns. Spraying for weeds in the last week of June 2 weeks after they all went to seed. WOW

We have been customers of Dr. Green for a number of years. The price for their service is competitive with their competition and they provide an excellent service administered by pleasant staff. We would certainly recommend their services.

I have been a customer of Dr. Green services for several years now. When I first started it was because my lawn looked so brown compared to that of my neighbours who were Dr. Green customers. There has also been a great improvement in the number of weeds in the lawn. If one is not satisfied in the case of the latter they are willing to come out and do a repeat. I do recommend them.

I recently purchased a home with a lawn that was obviously not maintained. I did the standard fertilizing and weed killing myself the first summer season as I was also making changes to the landscaping. I hired Dr. Green to take over the lawn care 3 month's ago and am pleased with the courteous staff. They have been to my residence on three occasions as promised with the package I purchased, and have provided the products and services as specified. My lawn is showing signs of improvement even though it has only been 3 months. This is impressive considering the poor state it was in. A Thank You goes out to the staff at Dr. Green. Regards

I have ordered the Top Dressing and Seeding on April 28th and you finally came today June 17th after 50 days and numerous "we will be there tomorrow or Monday or Friday guaranteed". Well your door to door salesperson Scott Brown that came around told me that they would use 4-6 yards of topsoil to do my front and backyard. I have pictures and a neighbour that watched your technician apply 4 bags of soil(looks like mulch on my lawn and you can't even see any seed. She said it started to rain and he just left so here are some pictures and you decide for yourself if this jobs is acceptable. I have contacted Visa and after seeing the pictures they agree that I have a case and they will begin an investigation and to retrieve my money. Please make this right all I want is the job done right that I have paid for.

We were not happy with our previous lawn care provider because we did not see any improvement to our lawn. We signed up with Dr. Green in 2012 based on their Sales rep's promise that Dr. Green would get rid of the quack grass and fix the bare/dead spots. We have paid for power raking, aeration, overseeding and fertilization but we still have quack grass and bare spots. Throughout 2013, we kept receiving recommendations to seed and feed (extra cost of $100) from the service providers, even though they had already overseeded in May. When I phoned to question the seed and feed, the agent said he would notify my service providers that we had overseeding done and that they should stop recommending it, but they continued to write it in the comments. Does this mean the overseeding does not work? When we were approached to prepay for 2014, I brought up this seed and feed issue and the quack grass and bare spots. The agent was very understanding and helpful; she will put a notation into our file for the providers to monitor our lawn this coming season. We are hoping they won't let us down about this. Most of the agents at head office that I have dealt with have been very friendly, professional and accommodating; a couple have been abrupt and impolite. Dr. Green's service providers have been very polite, courteous and respectful (but on two occasions neglected to close our gate). They are very hard-working and thorough when doing the power raking. We never received notifications from the previous provider, so we do appreciate the emails as to when Dr. Green will be making a service call. They have been very reliable in showing up when they are scheduled to.
