This has to be the worst company in canada for service. Our lawns have never looked so bad in 6 years and so far, all this company has done is send a bunch of teenagers to spread fertilizer - no aeration, no spring overseeding - before long it will be too hot to seed. Customer service is but an oxymoron and I have been told that the package is a final sale with no refund if I cancel. DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!

I have had a good relationship with Dr. Green Services, they have been prompt with lawn services and call periodically with other offers as they become available. One day I was coming home when a representative had applied a treatment and he stopped and took the time to explain the treatment that had been applied to me! He was very friendly and helpful...

I paid for a service which was never provided. I was told when I purchased the lawn care package that they would be out within 10 business days. No one showed up and I called on the 10th day and was told they would come the following week (Tues/Wed). It's Thursday and I have now called them 2x to escalate. Both times I have been told that an email has been sent to the production manager. Because of this inconvience I asked for a credit and was told I could be provided with a small credit of $25.00! Sorry but it should be more than that. As I'm wirting this, I'm on hold to speak with a manager.......

terrible company. once you prepaid, nothing you can do anymore. one guy came for less than 10 min, before we notice, everything is done. we didn't get any notice for the service. when we phone them, the answer is if we are not happy with them, they can cancel the service, but no refund!

Terrible company. And Courtney, please don't respond with your stock message pretending to be concerned, because your company has already had numerous chances and it shouldn't take a review on a website to get any response from customer service. We ordered 5 sessions of weeding, fertilizer, overseeding from this company. We were told we'd get an email 24 hours in advance. We did. It's now over a week later and no one ever showed up. I called last friday and the rep said she was trying to get ahold of the tech and get him out same day. She put me on hold but couldn't reach him and promised to call me back that day. No one showed up, no one called back. Called back later that night and couldnt get through due to "high call volume." Called monday morning, told there was a high call volume again and they said they'd call back as soon as the next agent was available. Hours pass, no call. Call back, same message, told them i've already been waiting hours.. "Oh we haven't started call backs yet, you should hopefully hear from someone at some point today." Couldn't give me an approx time or even guarantee it would be today. I asked to speak to a manager but apparently there is no manager on site and managers can't cancel service. So i guess i'm just stuck then. IGNORE these guys when they knock at your door. Find a local company who really cares and who you can actually get ahold of. These guys are in way over their heads and don't have a clue how to run a business. You don't serve an enormous area from one depot in Mississauga, refuse to send anyone but the regular person out even when that person is behind, then have no one available at customer service. Waste of time.

Dr. Green lawn care (http://www.doctorgreen.com/ ) are crooks. They provide services that were not requested, and then expect you to pay for them. These guys are nasty. First, they discounted the fee to get me to re-sign, then they billed me for the difference. After that, they came and did an additional service that I never requested (what I bought was supposed to include EVERYTHING) and billed me for that too. I ended up telling them if I have to pay for that service, then I'm canceling for next year. They persisted, so I paid and cancelled. Well next year is now this year, and guess who showed up last week? After I explicitly cancelled my contract via email last year. Then I had to fight with them about this latest invoice for a service I didn't ask for. These types of businesses, will do this and then tag your credit record if you don't pay them. STAY AWAY FROM DR. GREEN.

I ordered lawn care, including power raking, from Dr. Green 2 weeks ago. I was oringinally told it was a rush order, then a week later when I called back, receiving no notice they were coming yet, I was informed it needed to be a rush order if I wanted it that fast. So now I was told, again, it was put on rush order. It has now been over a week and still nothing. Extremely unimpressed! Will get Green Drop next time.

We were visited by a Dr. Green representative explaining us how they can take care of the lawn with the "Very Best recommended plan !!". I paid for the service upfront via a credit card. Till date, only 1 visit ( We don't know whether it took place) was commited and there is no receipt or invoice or customer number or a plan given to us. We are always wondering whether they will or they will not help maintain the lawn. Poor Customer experience.

The service itself is sub par. The real hassle is when you cancel. First, good luck cancelling in a straight forward, non confrontational manner. The customer rep went so far as to say "That's not an option.." - yeah right. So the service was cancelled. Now they have called 3 times and each get more and more persistent in tryig to sell. They have been told each time that we are not interested in their service, we were not happy, we've hired someone else, dont contact us. They do not respect your wishes. The last phone is what prompted me to actually write this complaint (I have also filed a complaint with the BBB). At the end of call when the rep finally realized we were not going to sign up again, his voice tone got right rude and he hung up on me. The srevice itself was not on time (they were 2 months late doing the aeration) and not communicated as promised. Of the the 5 treatments I believe we only got called once. All in all, not a pleasant company to deal with after you sign up. They sure were nice before we signed up though.. If you are new or justtrying them for the first time MAKE SURE you indicate you do not want to auto renew (we did this). Evaluate the service first.

The service rendered was the worst I have ever had. Huge bags of grass was left at my door for me to dispose of which I did with great difficulty. After complaining and wanting to cancel future services I was told that their policy is no refunds when paid for the year. Definitely will not use them next year and will NOT recommend them to anyone.
