    laundry tub in basement was plugged and backing up

    late in the afternoon discovered the laundry tub was plugged and backing up. Phoned Drain Rescue, and surprisingly received an appointment for the same evening. Technician arrived on time and solved my problem very quickly.

    Subject Matter Experts

    Our sewage ejector pump in the basement blew up, basement was flooded and of course we called Drain Rescue in panic. They gave me an priority appointment based on my urgency, Dwayne (the technician) showed up on time, diagnosed the issue in 2 minutes flat and calmed our panic in another 30 seconds after that. Then he scheduled Wayne (another technician) for next day (because it was a weekend and Dwayne couldn't procure a pump from the supplier) and work was done professionally, on-time, with zero hassle from us.

    Under kitchen sink leak

    Same day service, professional, on time, hire the company 3 times and each time was a good experience!

    Sanitary Drains

    What started as a toilet backup challenge, evolved into a more substantial sanitary drain blockage running out to the street. The entire project took over a week, as we bunked with family members for the duration. Drain Rescue team was professional and dedicated to solving our problem from the outset. The supervisor remained engaged throughout our journey, including guiding our interaction with the city water works team to ensure they took responsibility for their portion of the work to be done. We will recommend Drain Rescue in the future.

    Faucet handle replacements

    Was worried about leaking after rain and long use of these pipes/drains/faucets, so this was a preventative measure to escape future emergencies. Was more expensive than expected to replace faucet handles.

    Emergency Repair

    I had a pipe burst overnight and woke up to running water in the basement. Called Drain Rescue and they ensured I had turned off my water at the main. They then had a plumber at my house within 2 hours. He was polite, efficient and made the necessary repairs including replacing my bathroom faucet in less than 40 minutes. I was very impressed.

    They couldn’t care less

    Writing this review to let others know what this company did to my basement. I had to have a backwater valve installed at my house and after it was installed, my basement flooded with raw sewage. There was feces and pee in my floors, subfloors, you name it. I am attaching a picture here because a picture is worth a thousand words. If you desire raw sewage in your basement and no help from them afterward, go with them. The photo I am attaching here is BEFORE WAY bigger problems arose (this is only step 1). There is sewage in just about every part of my basement. They know this. The building inspector said he only inspected what was visible, not the faulty flap 6 ft down. This is supposed to have a 25-yr warranty on top of it - do you think they honored that in any way?

    After your request to provide you with an estimate for the back water valve (BWV) we did install a BWV for your rental property on May 16, 2018. The BWV was installed correctly as it has passed inspection by the city inspector. Our records show that some time after you called our office because basement sink wasn’t working (not draining properly) and our technician went back to your house spoke to you and provided you with an estimate to unclog your kitchen sink but you rejected his estimate as you expected him to snake your kitchen sink for free because we did a BWV for you. He explained to you that this was a separate issue not related to the installation of the BWV and your response to him was that ”I will find a different solution”. A few days later you sent us a picture of the BWV with cap off and gravel disturbed all over it and you insisted that this was the way our technicians left the site when they finished the job. We keep all records, notes and pictures when we finish jobs and we did send you a picture of the way BWV was on the day we did the job. Later our technician went to the site and found out that BWV flapper was broken as a result of someone putting snake through it. So the flood in your basement was not caused by the BWV not being installed properly it was because someone broke the flapper in the BWV by snaking it. Unfortunately we can’t warranty our work that was damaged by someone else. Drain Rescue

    Clogged toilet

    Everything was done on time with good response! Operator was courteous and nice. Work was done over the weekend. I highly recommend them.

    Plumbing

    I had to replace clay pipes underneath my basement floor, and a toilet that was leaking into my basement ceiling. All work was done professionally in a timely manner, with followup from the company to ensure everything was completed to my satisfaction. I can't fault them on the quality of their work. I only gave 4/5 stars because they are expensive. Both my jobs were emergencies and Drain Rescue Plumbers responded to my call for help immediately, unlike another company that I booked and never showed. I guess you pay for what you get, but if your jobs are not emergencies, I suggest getting more than one quote.
