    Main Drain Clogged

Dwayne did a fantastic job of diagnosing and solving our plumbing issue. Using his camera scope and other neat tools, he very quickly found a cleaning rag in our pipes which was blocking everything up. Two things we learned: 1, don't have your cleaning service "clean" your pipes by flushing a rag down the toilet; and 2, call Dwayne from Drain Rescue when you actually want your pipes cleaned.

    Beware

We had a stuburn clog and the plumber fixed it with ease. Quick and on time service. Polite admin . I will definitely take the plumbers advise to purchase a $2 strain to prevent this clog again.

    Clogged drain bent pipe

Vince and another worker, I believe his name was Ollie but I could be wrong came to fix a backup from our main drain. They discovered the pipe was bent and would require a $3200 fix. Ok, done. Afterwards Vince suggested having the pipes flushed eventually for $1700. We planned to do this in a few weeks having just spent $3200 and not being told it needed to be done right this second. Ollie told us twice we could periodically flush the toilet 10-15 times and that would help loosen the blockage and keep things running smoothly in the meantime. So that’s what we did. We kept an eye on the floor drain and had zero issues. 8-9 hours later I gave my toddler a bath - he’s under 2 years so the tub only had about 4 inches of water in it. After getting him out and draining the tub my basement had once again flooded - only worse this time, damaging baseboards, dry wall and seeping into other rooms external to the original point of flooding in the laundry room. I called back to speak with a manager. Vince the technician instead called my husband and suggested flushing the pipes. I called again to have a manager call me. He 3-way called me with Vince on the line and argued that I should know’t have spoken to Ollie and should only have spoken to Vince - keeping in mind Ollie sought out both myself and my husband to give us his sage advice. He then 4-way called Ollie to have his side brought into this chaos. After 40 minutes of talking over me and refusing to acknowledge that while yes, Vince did recommend flushing the pipes, Ollie also recommended the flushing the toilet as a solution which ultimately did not work, I finally hung up. I asked for this manager’s name and his supervisors name - both of which he refused to provide, stating he’s the big guy. I am incredibly unhappy with this service and will be shouting it from the rooftops for any and all to hear.

    Water Leak unresolved

Horrible service!!! Misdiagnosed my problem, overcharged and won't take responsibility in properly addressing the issue. Had a water leak and the plumber came in thinking that it was an issue with the bath tub. Fiddled around with it for half an hour and ran the shower saying it was fixed. A couple of weeks later, water started leaking again even though I had not used the shower for over a day. Called them to say that the problem was unresolved, that it could be the toilet. The lady that answered was extremely rude and condescending, giving me a run around and a sales pitch for additional service. DO NOT RECOMMEND! DO NOT USE. Having your place flooded is less of a headache than dealing with these guys. $200 down the drain, unlike the water.

    Answer from pro:

Thank you Andrew for your honest feedback, your feedback clearly displays that we fixed your issue and for a few weeks you had no leak occurred. You paid just diagnostic fee which is a minimum charge of 175.00. Unfortunately, you forgot to mention to the public that we offered permanent solution to resolve your problem, but you advised our tech that you will be doing renovation and contractor will make all necessary repairs for free. What type of responsibilities you expected us to carry?

    Pipe Change

We had an issue with our sewage backing up due to tree roots growing into our old clay pipes. Reached out to Drain Rescue and they did not disappoint. Our inspector Dwayne was super knowledgeable and helpful. He showed me where the roots were growing (there was 4 different sections) and educated me on why it would be most cost efficient in the long run to change out the pipe. Serge and Victor who came to do the job were wonderful. They were here on time, very respectful of the house, kept everything as clean as they could for me. The job took over two days - they kept us informed of how they were progressing and minimized how long we had to be without water. All in all we are super happy with the work and would for sure recommend them to anyone in need.

Rip off for an easy job

Kitchen sink clogged, called them and a guy came to do the job. Took less than 40 minutes and left with a pile of mess on my floor. Charge close to $400. Next time will buy a bottle of drank and snake first.

    Answer from pro:

Thank you for your feedback. It is so sad to hear that all effort we make to assist customer's during this inconsistent time in emergency situations are not appreciated. Unfortunately, It is hard to understand for some people that to purchase a snake it is easy, to learn how to use equipment and avoid damage of the plumbing system takes years of experience.
