    Plumbing- Checked line, replaced faulty pipe, cleared blockage

    We have had Drain Works in a total of three times now. Each time we received efficient service. What we particularly appreciated was that they took the time to answer all of our questions and to show us what the problems were and how they would be fixed. This meant that we really felt that we understood what they were doing, something that I feel is often lacking when dealing with contractors. It was nice to feel like I was making an educated choice. What we also appreciated was that we were not pressured into having any work done. What a breath of fresh air! We will be having some further plumbing work done in the future and the only people that we will be having in to do this work is Drain Works. I would like to particularly thank Mike Dunn; he was in for two of the three jobs and went beyond the call of duty. A really friendly, professional and responsible guy.

    water damage on basement floor

    DrainWorks were the 4th professionals that came to investigate our damaged basement floor. Armando was very thorough - he took his time to show us what his camera had found, where the weeping tiles were located under the floor and was honest about what our next steps should be so that we didn't unnecessarily spend alot of money digging things up that might not even fix the problem. Although he was unable to pinpoint what the problem specifically was, he was able to shed light on what was working properly and provide recommendations that made sense in a cost/benefit way as to how to proceed. I would not hesitate to call DrainWorks again - it was money well spent!

    Plugged bathroom sink

    I called about a clogged drain on Tuesday. The dispatcher was polite but honest - they couldn't specify exactly when they'd be able to come out, somewhere between 9am and 1pm on Wednesday. They called back twice: the first time the night before, at my request, to say that they thought they could come at 9am; the call came the next morning at 8:45 to say there was an emergency and they wouldn't be able to make it until 11am. In the end they came at 10-ish which was fine. And I appreciated the efforts they made to keep me informed. They did the work quickly and charged a bit less than the initial quote. Of course I wish they could have just come at 9am, but I really appreciated their professionalism and efforts to meet my expectations.

    Replacement of trap and breather at front of house

    The call was placed on Monday, an estimate was provided on Wednesday and the work was completed on Thursday afternoon. It was on time, on budget and performed with extreme efficiency. What a pleasure!

    unclogged bathtub drain

    Called Drainworks and they got a technician to me in a few hours. They arrived right on time, did the work quickly and cleanly and at exactly the quoted price. Very helpful

    Video Inspection and snaking of drains

    They confirmed they time they would arrive and showed up right on time, were well organized neat clean and thorough. Staff was knowledgable expalined in detail what could be the problem and proceeded to inspect and clear the floor drain. In an older home with many trees the problem could have been much worse.He explained what was done and cleared the problem quickly and efficently. Very pleased, good value for the money.

    bathroom sink drain

    From the first call to the home office, Drainworks distinguished itself as a totally professional business. They were polite, helpful,and very clear in explaining what would happen. A technician, Jeremy Harris, was at our home within hours of the call, in keeping with our schedule. He too was polite, courteous,and well-spoken. He wore special footwear to protect our floors, and spread a cloth to keep the bathroom clean. The work was completed in a timely fashion and explained to me, the bill was prepared, and accurately represented the quote given earlier by the home office. I cannot recommend Drainworks more highly. They were top-notch, from A to Z. Thankyou Drainworks!

    Repair a broken toilet

    Our 10+ year old toilet - a low profile, low flow model - started to run. We couldn't fix it so I asked my friend for a reference. I called Drainworks and their dispatcher Sandy sent someone over right away. By the end of the day I had a new Toto toilet and Chris the plumber also fixed some other problems with taps at his own initiative. I couldn't be happier.

    Interior and exterior sewer pipe excavation and replacement

    I was doing laundry in my basement and when the washing machine emptied into the sink, the toilet in the washroom a new feet away overflowed. After flipping through the Yellow Pages and making about 5 phone calls to various companies, DrainWorks provided the best option. From the person who answered the telephone, to Lou a Supervisor who came out and did the camera inspection of the blocked sewer pipe, to Naz who kept an eye on the excavation, to Matthew who came out to do the final inspetion, DrainWorks provided great service. Everyone was on-time, polite, knowledgeable, and answered all our questions without hesitation.

    Basement drain clogs

    We had a drain backup in the basement and, as we have only been in our house less than a year, we had never used a plumbing service before. I searched online for a service and at the top of the search, the DrainWorks link came up. I went to their site and liked the way it read. Besides, the owner looked like Patrick Roy!! Anyway, when I called, I was so impressed with the customer service, I almost didn't believe it. I wasn't sure I trusted it. We simply are not used to good customer service anymore. To make a long story short, DrainWorks customer service in this job was exemplary. They called back to confirm .. the drain specialists arrived exactly when they said they would, within and hour, explained everything, gave me a clear quote and completed the work as required and left everything clean. What more can you ask for? I mean, nobody wants to have a problem like this, but if you do, it is nice to know there are companies around like DrainWorks. Bravo! Dave
