    Clogged floor drain

    I called DrainWorks when I saw water backing-up from the floor drain. Matt came and explained to me all my options. He suggested the use of a camera which I declined and I chose instead to snake it and the blockage cleared. Two days later, when the drain clogged again, I called them and this time with the use of a camera and an electronic equipment they detected the blockage under the basement floor. The next day, despite pouring rain they showed up on time and performed the job. The area was well protected and the work was done on time. They cleaned up everything and even stayed behind to fix my screen door latch which was displaced by accident. I recommend this company a hundred per cent.

    Came out the next morning, very professional

    Our sink and dishwasher were not draining properly. Lou was there the next morning (within the 9am-12 time window given). Snaked everything thing out, found one problem. Discovered a very small leak I didn't even know about and fixed that too (probably saved us a lot of money in future damage!!!).

    Best Plumbers in the GTA

    What started out as a problem-fix under the front garden turned into a complete replacement of our basement floor drain – and it was a really smart move. As the scope of the project grew, so did my confidence in Drainworks. I couldn't have been happier in how the work progressed; the mess was so contained, the advice so thorough. I appreciate people who work hard, and these guys definitely do. The entire process was carried out like clockwork. We even roughed in a three-piece bathroom, which will kickstart a basement reno we have been putting off. Thanks to all involved!

    Great service

    have used them in early 2016 when my parent's toilet was stuck. Speedy service and no problem since they fixed and left. Would recommend them to others in the future.

    Exterior drain rerouting and reconnect

    We used Drainworks in 2003 to replace all of our home drains to the city sewer systems and were thrilled with the level of professionalism so it was an easy choice to call them again in 2016 to reconnect an exterior drain. The quote process was painless and straightforward. Armando was very thorough and took the time to explain things to us when he mapped out our exterior drainage system. He presented to us more than one option to complete the work and both were viable solutions with the pros and cons of each. They even went above and beyond the scope of the work and opened up our back flow valve to ensure it was functioning properly even when we were not having issues with it and it is located on a separate drain line. Scheduling the work was a breeze. The workers showed up on time, were polite, professional, and tidy. Plastic sheets were hung from the ceiling to enclose the area they were digging in so that dirt and dust wouldn't spread to the other areas of my house. The work was completed in 6 hours and other than the new cement on my basement floor I couldn't tell that they'd been there. Armando showed up during the work to ensure that things were running smoothly and being done correctly and answered any additional questions we had. DrainWorks may charge a little more than other companies but their rates are still competitive. Paying a little more is well worth it because of the knowledgeable, professional technicians and the competent service they provide. There's a reason they've been around for almost 20 years; Drainworks stands by their work. I have not hesitated to refer them to other people including clients, and not one has had a bad experience with them. Keep up the great work and professional core values.

    Drain Backup Fixed

    This morning (a Sunday) I walked down into my basement and stepped in a puddle. I immediately started to panic. Based on a recommendation from my brother-in-law, I called DrainWorks. They were busy but were able to come to the house within 5 hours. Matt confirmed with a camera that, as is typical in older homes, some tree roots had made their way into the few feet of clay pipes not replaced by a previous owner and created a clog. He explained all of the options available to us and we took care of the issue today. Thank you for the prompt and professional service!

    Toto toilet

    I've used Drainworks numerous times and for one reason only, they're the BEST. When it comes to these vital parts of your home don't leave it to anyone else, the parts are always the best and the professionalism from the office down to the trades is amazing. Chris L is a master in his field, he leaves you with a work of art there is nothing more satisfying than seeing the end result of what this man does as his job and passion. They are not the cheapest, and that's for good reason these are the absolute best plumbers around and to have that peace of mind, well no dollar amount can be placed on that. Thanks again!     change laundry taps, stop leaks, change pipes on another sink leading to outside faucet.

    Jim was extremely thorough. He took time to explain exactly what needed to be done and why. We were so impressed with him we had him do the laundry room taps while he was here. We will definitely be calling them if the need arises.

    Plumbing Service

    Used DrainWorks service on two occassions. Once to clear roots in the main drain pipe and another time to clear a blockage in the stacks. Their service is excellent. The technicians (Jim and Matt) were professional, thorough and clean. Every detail of the job was explained, and the work was done to 100% satisfaction. I highly recommend their service.

    leak in pipe

    Having used Drainworks before, we did not hesitate to call them when we realized we had a plumbing issue. We discovered a crack in the pipe that feeds water to our outdoor tap. It hadn't been properly drained and had cracked over the winter. William called in advance to advise that Chris (our plumber) would be late and wanted to confirm that it wasn't an issue. They communicated clearly at every step of the way and were a pleasure to deal with. Chris arrived when they said he would, diagnosed the issue, was very clear with instructions and immensely helpful in terms of instructions for avoiding the a similar situation in the future. I would definitely recommend using their services and will use them again when we need plumbing help!
