    roots in the pipes

    We called on Friday night and they came over and deduced the problem and found we had roots in the pipes. The whole thing was fixed by Monday afternoon. Mike Dunn was very nice and explained everything in a nice way that we could understand.

    Blocked Drains and New Pipes needed

    The water in our house was not draining and our basement drains had started to flood. We called the City but they were unable to help because our pipes were so bloked. We called drainworks after seeing the high ratings on homestars and they came the next day, gave us the quote and were back the next day to resolve the problem. They cleaned up after themselves and we were very pleased with the service

    Blocked pipes

    We called drainworks when our basement was flooding each time we used the washing machine or dishwasher. We initially thought that perhaps we could do the work ourselves, but we soon found out that we needed to have experts in. J.P. and William in the office were very friendly and booked the appointment for the next morning. Matt came right on time (they called me half an hour before he showed up to let me know that he was on his way) Matt was professional, thorough and hard working. He identified all of the problems and let us know the next steps that he would be taking to solve the blockage. He answered our many questions with in depth answers. The prices are within the norm for the industry, but the professionalism of all of the employees made it definitely worth it, we would use them again.

    Roots growing through old ceramic pipes in basement causing blockage

    The Drainworks team was here today to dig up approx 4-5' of my basement floor in order to replace an old ceramic pipe where roots had managed to push at the connection between it and the PVC piping. As as result, and over many many years, roots continued to grow through and into the drainage system. The end result was of course, a blockage resulting in a backup. A backup that no store bought chemical could even begin to fix. Mike Dunn was originally on "the scene" to try to zero in on the problem, which he showed me on the camera and explained in full detail answering all my questions. After moving ahead with the the only solution I can only say one thing and that is that from day one the team, including dispatchers, excavators, assistants etc..they were nothing but courteous, professional and efficient and considering the work that had to be done, very reasonably priced. They worked in a very methodical manner, and were very considerate to keep the work area and non affected area as clean as possible. After they were finished they even cleaned outside of their "taped off" work area. I would/will 100% recommend Drainworks. Thank you again! Nina

    replacement of a poorly installed drain and pipework

    We had an egg smell coming from our basement. Mike and his team (including the people in the office) were friendly and professional. They replaced a lot of bad pipe The job was completed on time and they were very tidy . They were great

    Floor Drain back up

    Had my floor drains in my home back up, it was nightmare. I called draiworks off a friends refferal and i was not disapointed. These guys were great, they were on time, fairly priced, worked clean and so very nice to deal with. They took the time to explain everything and did not try to push any other jobs. I could not have asked for a better group of individuals. The piece of mind along with their services was worth every penny. Thank you Drain works!!

    Replacement of outside sewers and intake

    I will happily add to the many positve reviews of DrainWorks. Long story short, in August 2011 Drainworks' work on our property revealed an existing fault with the city-owned portion of our water service. The symptoms (severe lack of water pressure) were intermittant, combine that with the fact that Drainworks had just completed major work and we had a hard time convincing the city that their portion was at fault. Frank from Drainworks spent much time and effort at our house proving that their work was good and working with the city to restore our water. He is was always responsive and available over the 2 weeks or so it took to resolve our issue. I'm sure it was an low-profit job for Drainworks because of all the additional time spent and work done but he was always friendly and understanding that we needed our water back. Thanks Frank and crew!

    Basement drain pipe repair

    Drainworks was amazing! Not only did they come out the same day I called, but fully accessed and fixed my problem within 24 hours. And let me assure you it was one big, stinky mess! Their techs were kind, curtious, competitent, professional and clean. what more could you ask for?! Thank you Drainworks!

    Basement flood

    We couldn't be happier with the service we received from Drainworks plumbing. As soon as Mike Dunn arrived on the scene his knowledge and expertise made us feel that Drainworks was the right company to help us with our basement drain backup. A few days later Frank C, and his team were on site to replace our pipes. Not only did they do a great job, he sat with us for about an hour after to answer any of our questions. We love these guys and would definitely use them again!!!

    Replacing basement pipes

    While drainworks is probably one of the more expensive companies to use, their service and workmanship is fantastic. I've used them a few times, including this latest job which involved digging up our basement to replace 20 feet of plugged clay pipes. Dealing with them is always a pleasure and they're super professional, courteous and go the extra effort to make you understand what they need to do. They are always on time and will stay late to finish a job if they need to, as was the case this time for us. Also, their cleanup of the site is fantastic which I really appreciate. Overall, their customer service and guaranteed good work is worth the extra dollars.
