    Sewer backup/ clean outs installed

    We had a sewer backup and required clean outs be installed for the city to come in and find the root of the sewer back-ups we have been experiencing for years. When Jeremy came to snake and use the camera on our drain he explained everything to us in a manner that anyone could understand. Gave us quotes on the work we needed done and had a crew in our home 2 days later. The work men were so clean I didn't seem like we had work done in our basement. I was expecting a dirty disaster. To suprise my husband when he came home from work I told him no one had showed up. He was so surpised when he went down to check and saw that the work was completed. We would definetly call the company in again if needed. And would receommend them to all my family and friends. Great Job Guys!

    Redoing plumbing

    After having a disaster job done on my plumbing, I called this company to come in and fix the problem. They were fast and efficient. I have no complaints. I would highly recommend this company for the future and I would call them again if need be.

    waterproofing, plumbing

    It's been almost a year since I had some work done on my house by Drainworks. At first I was hesitant to write any review as I wasn't 100% sure if the work that was done will actually hold up to the expectations. In the past I been going to major problems with contractors and their poor quality of service and I always had to re call back and get them back and fix. Which ends up being nothing more then a headache and stress. But since a year now and with major heavy rains and storms the work that Drainworks have done has hold up to the crazy canadian weather and my old house. I am very pleased with the work. First time ever I didn't have to call back and complain. Which is nice for a change. The work that they done first was somehow emergency leak in the main sewage pipe which had a hole and it was flooding my basement. Didn't expect anyone to come same day to have a look but they did within hours and started the work shortly. After that promt service I decided again to go with Drainworks to do waterproofing outside the house. I been batteling with leaks and floods in my basement for 2 years and I been through many contractors who just can't fix or never finish a project they just walk out and I never hear back from them. Drainworks exceed my expectations. Knowledgble, understandable, dependable, and most of all they actually do answer the phone when you call so i never have to chase them. Always on time, always work with my busy schedule. What I am pleased with is no matter how hard the job was, they don't give up they manage to work out a solution and finish the project rather then just tell me "it is impossible to fix" (I was expecting to hear that since that's what I been experiencing in the past with others). Once it is agreed that they will do the project from start to finish I excpect it to be done. And That's what Drainworks done. From start to finish without a worry. I do understand older homes are always a challenge, but they never made me feel as if I am making their lives miserable. Always with a smile, "We will have it done, No worries" Great Job very pleased. No leaks at all, no problems, I don't even think about it anymore when it rains outside. BONUS!

    find blocked drain in basement bathroom and move plumbing fixtures.

    MOVED INTO A OLDER HOME WITH A SO CALLED RENOVATED BATHROOM IN BASESMENT. WAS BLOCKED AND FOUND TO HAVE PLUMBING THAT WAS PUT IN INCORRECT. aLSO HAD PROBLEMS WITH TREE ROOT. DRAIN WORKS WAS CALLED IN AND USED CAMERA TO INSPECT,FOUND PROBLEMS AND ADVISED SOLUTION. REMOVED 50 YEAR OLD CLAY PLUMBING WITH NEW. CREW CAME ON TIME, WORKED HARD AND TOOK THE TIME TO LEAVE THE BATHROOM AND AREA SPOTLESS. WAS MUCH IMPRESSED.

    Backed up sewer drain

    We had issues with our sewer drain backing up. We called Saturday night and they were able to come first thing the Sunday morning. From the camera inspection we found that we had a major root problem in our drain. They immediately gave us a quote and were able to begin escavation the next day. After 9 hours of labour, our house was free flowing once again. Throughout the process they were upfront and were constantly communicating their progress. We never felt pressured or in the dark. Note: We are in Toronto (Riverdale). Homestars only listed Milton and Guelph here.

    Galvanized Pipe Replacement

    I needed a couple items resolved, some galvanized pipe replaced, kitchen vent reconfig, fridge line install. The Drainworks dude did a bang up job, answered all my questions, scheduled the work shortly after the inspection, and was happy to fix up a couple items he noticed free of charge while providing me with needed familiarity as this is my first home. A+ job

    Washer Sanitary Drain Installation & Faulty Sanitary Trap Repair

    In the process of getting a rough-in for laundry facility, Drainworks was the only company who performed a camera inspection prior to providing a quote. Their quote was all-in and detailed all the perticulars. Although they are certainly not cheap, their work, professionalisme, staff and quality of service is second to none. I was satisfied with all aspects of my dealings with them from arranging a quote, meeting with the technician and from the start to end of the project. As an added bonus, they were also able to access a faulty trap from the dug-up area for the washer drain rough-in, saving me the aggrevation of having to dig-up my neighbours front yard in the spring (I live in a semi). All in all, I would recomment them, hands down.

    Floor Drain Cleanout and Camera Inspection

    We called this firm due to a floor drain backup. We had a promotional card left here in the mail box in early 2009 that we kept in case we needed any plumbing work done. We decided to try DrainWorks out. We were very satisfied with their promptness and courteousness, as well as professionalism in resolving our problem.

    kitchen and bathtub drain problem

    My overall experience with Drainworks was great - they called once to offer a cancellation time, and called to update me on when the technician would be arriving twice. Jeremy was very efficient and professional and explained the process in easy terms. I finally have a well draining bathtub!

    Drain replacement

    Having lived in our 95 yr old house in Swansea for 3 years, we had a drain backup problem fixed a month after moving in by another popular plumbing company. They replaced the outside p-trap and installed a new clean out (PVC). A few weeks ago, the drain backup issue came back. I called the original drain company to take a look again and while they did the camera inspection for free, they asked me where the second clean-out was which they installed, but obviously covered up 3 yrs ago. They gave me a quote which invloced replacing the clay pipes under my basement that had some tree roots that had penetrated the pipe. Their repair involved tearing up the finished basement for the entrie length. For a second quote, I called Drain Works and Mike Dunn and crew came the next morning (early). Mike did a scan which was way brighter which confrimed the tree roots but he explained the issues in much more detail. For the repair he offered a temporay option and the long-term option. The long-term options involved replacing the clean-out properly and isntead of digging the entire basement, only a couple of tiled areas. I selected Drain Works because because their repair would not have been as destructive, they explained things well and they were cheaper. I liked the original drain company, but after the partially incorrect work they originally did, I would have expected them to give me a better deal - they were still more expensive! The actual work by Mike and crew was great. They left the basement clean, kept me informed throughout and finsihed the job in 2 days only. Now my drains are all updated and hopefully won't need to call Drain Works again, but I'l surely recommend them for anyone that needs the same work.
