    New Furnace, AC & Tankless Water Heater

    We had an old AC & furnace that were not working properly and with the winter fast approaching, we knew that we had to get it replaced. Fortunately, they had a special and it was too good to resist. I called 3 companies to give me a quote. One of them gave me a quote for over $9000, one of them said that he will give me a quote only if he was going to do the work. The sales person at Dupont came on time and gave me a quote that was very reasonable. He did not upsell me on what I did not need. I decided to go with them and also decided to get a tankless water heater installed at the same time. By the way, the tankless water heater is great to have. The installers came and installed everything in two days (one team only installed the furnace & ac and another one to install the tankless water heater). We are very happy with their service and work. We do the servicing of the ac & the furnace with them twice a year in order to keep the warranty of the equipment. I would definitely refer them to my friends and family to replace their furnace & ac. Thanks for a job well done.

    AC spacepak system and high efficiency boiler

    I was compelled to write a review on highly recommending Dupont Heating. Just a brief history about my previous situation, I had my heating and air-conditioning re-done 3 years ago by another contractor which end up in a total disaster. For the last 3 years both of my systems kept on failing with no success of getting my first contractor to fix both systems that they screwed up beyond repair, too many problems to be mentioned in this review. We lived many days and nights with NO proper heat! Out of desperation, I contacted Dupont Heating for help. Thank God for this! I met Mario and immediately was impressed with his professionalism and understanding! I voiced out my concerns and discontent about my problems that I can encountered with the other heating contractor. He was very understanding and non-judgemental of my position. Mario took the challenge to help me out and rebuild my two systems from scratch. Any other contractor would of shy away from the problems done by the other company NOT Dupont Heating. Mario was amazing, confident and took the professional leap to help out us. Secondly, I asked him for a quote the price was reasonable, he did the job from start to finish in rebuilding a new Spacepak AC system for us. Mario and his company constantly assured us if he did the job it would be executed into perfect working order. Well I am happy to report, that he fixed our AC system and left us the homeowners totally satisfied! Dupont proved their competence to us that they were very professional installing new system. After the first job with our AC, Mario took on another job, the heating part of the project. Dupont installed a high efficiency boiler. Both systems are working fantastically. Eric, Dupont’s employee, who is a hydronics expert, executed the job on a timely manner and did an excellent job from start to finish. Now we have our HEAT BACK! I am so fortunate and grateful to meet Mario, and his team Dupont Heating. Dupont Company was very careful of cleaning all the debris left behind once they finished the two installations. A week later Mario was kind enough to call us back to make sure all the equipment was still running in perfect condition. I BIG thanks to Dupont Heating and a high recommendation for Mario and Eric. Our family is finally is living comfortably again!? Well done!

    Service

    My furnace was making strange noises. I called Dupont on the advice of a friend. They were upfront with their fees, which I found competitive, but more importantly I was seeking a company I could trust after having a very bad experience with a major product and services company. Dupont diagnosed the problem quickly and answered all my questions. I had been negligent with maintenance because of my awful experience with the other company. Dupont explained the furnace safety shut off features so that I better understood the noises. I am a proud and happy new customer of theirs and most importantly am relieved I can trust them to carry out the maintenance I need.

    Hot water heater

    I had an issue with water heater. Tech named Lorne from dupont came in. He was on time however he had no sense of direction when it came to water heater. Not impressed with him at all. He opened up gas cascade when there was no need for it. Now I have to replace gas cascade and had to hire someone else to fix it. He just created more work then he needed to. I called another company and tech was able to figure issue in 10 minutes where as DuPont tech spend 1.5 hour messing around. I even called dupont to qestion their tech's qualifications and they told me he is qualifed. He might be qualified however he is to not efficient at all. I will never call this company again.

    Installation of new equipment

    I called Dupont to come out and give me a quote on installing a new air conditioner. They came out and took a look around and explained to me what equipment I needed and gave me a quote. The day of installation the guys showed up late. The guys seemed respectful and courteous but had no direction. They sent me a guy who doesn;t speak english very well and another guy who seemed was just learning. I was very weary about the whole experience. One year later I started having problems with my air conditioner. It took several appointments and technicians to tell me that nothing was wrong with my air conditioner. I called another company to come out and they fixed my problem within 30 minutes. It seems that the thermostat needed changing and everything works great now. With a fumbling installation and technicians that can't figure out simple problems I would never use these guys again. I have since transferred my warranty to another company.

    Furnace maintenance

    Louie from Dupont Heating was very punctual (10 minutes ahead of schedule!) and courteous to my wife. He was very knowledgeable and diagnosed the issue immediately. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family!

    Furnace

    Louie the owner installed a new high efficiency furnace in my house. His crew did an excellent job in the installation and gave me a price significantly lower than other quotes I received. I've saved a ton of money on my heating bills. Louie was professional, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. 10 stars without hesitation.

    Replace AC

    Yes, I would recommend this company to my mother. In fact, when my elderly parents' AC conked this past summer, my father insisted that I call Mario at Dupont. He had done service work at their house before (replace furnace humidifier and tune-ups on their ancient furnace), and they were very happy with the personal care received. The AC was installed within 2 days, nice clean job. The service technician took the time to explain how to maximize the component's efficiency and extend its life. Absolutely no complaints.

    New gas furnace & humidifier

    I chose Dupont to install a new high- efficiency gas furnace and humidifier after comparison with other contractors, based on the total heating solution offered with compatibility for future HVAC enhancements (e.g. tankless water heater, air conditioning), product line (Carrier), pricing and job scheduling. The work was completed efficiently and on time, including duct work, new venting, new thermostat, provision of a chimney liner to ensure that the existing hot water tank would operate properly alongside the new furnace, and removal and disposal of the old furnace. The Dupont service technicians were professional and courteous, finished the job in one day, and left the new furnace area clean and free of debris. Dupont also arranged for the application of the government rebate and registration of the new furnace and humidifier to the product company so that the warranties would be in effect. Altogether, Dupont delivered excellent services under this contract.

    Gas pipe repair

    We recently moved into our house and noticed a faint smell of gas in our basement. Enbridge arrived and confirmed the gas leak, shut off the gas but due to their company policy were not able to fix the pipe. We noticed that Dupont Heating & Air had installed a new furnace with the previous owner and we decided to contact them. Mario assessed our situation immediately, gave us a quote and assigned someone to replace a section of our pipe the next day. Thanks for making our home safe for us again!
