We are a small renovation company who was asked by long time clients to re-do their garage. While we, MCrenovations.tumblr.com, can do a LOT of things, laying a cement slab was outside of our expertise. We asked a trusted engineer friend and he said, "Hands down, Elite Concrete is the best." We took his word for it and booked them for the project. Raffy was quick to respond and schedule, and even made improvements to the original plan based on his extensive experience. Then, of course, due to survey issues, client design changes, permit delays, and a fight with the city, we would have to put a hold on the concrete slab until the permits were on the windows. Raffy and Marcelo continued to accommodate the scheduling as best they could in the busy season. Despite the domino effect of delays (go team!) Elite Concrete left us with a BEAUTIFUL slab, a job well done, and happy clients. Now, we build the garage.... Thanks guys!

They provided exceptional knowledge, creativity and value on a concrete address wall we had them design and build . We hired Elite to work on our driveway, front entrance and steps, two huge planters, some stepping stones and the side walkway. We first found Elite on HomeStars and decided to give them a call based on all the positive reviews. Raffy was quick to responsive our inquiry. Quote was given to us right away on the day we met. We made the decision to hire Elite without getting any other quote (which was very unusual for us). Decision was mainly based on seeing their past projects from the photos Raffy showed us in our first meeting, countless positive reviews and our gut feeling. It turns out Elite was over and exceeding our expectation. They are the best people to work with. Both owners Raffy and Marcelo are very prompt in answering all our inquires. The crew members were all friendly and professional. Every morning they arrived on time to start the work. While I want to design this project myself, Marcelo spent a lot of time working with me to provide me with lots of advice in order to perfect my design. During color selection and finishing, out of his super busy schedule, Raffy spent half day to drive us around the city to visit their past projects to show us different kind of finishing touch. This really helps us to visualize and confirm that the limestone finish we chose was exactly what we want. We truly appreciated the extra service they provided. This really makes a difference and explains why company like Elite can stand out from all others. We would also like to thank Federico. He worked on the forms for weeks. He was very detailed, took his time to make sure things were done right. I enjoyed working with him and he made my design coming true day by day. He is very friendly and even our kids loved to see him every morning during those weeks. Also thanks to Nico and his team their hard work. The scope of our project was fairly big, and it was expected to have hiccups along the way. What Elite made a difference was that they were willing to fix and make right, even if it meant to knock a portion of concrete down and redo in order to make it look perfect. This is one of the most important consideration any consumer should take when looking for company to do any renovation or building project. In conclusion, we highly recommend Elite Designed Concrete. We called around and had a few quotes from concrete companies to do an extensive project which included front stoop, front patio, walkway, stairs and back two-tiered patio, along with retaining walls for gardens and a shed pad. This was a very large job and involved various elevations and grades to the property. I am so happy I went with my gut and chose Raffy and Elite Designed Concrete. Other companies gave a similar price, but it was readily apparent they did not have the professionalism and crew of experts that Elite does. Where these other companies said they would come and "spray paint lines" to show where they would put the concrete, Elite had a landscape architect, Marina, measure and properly plot out architectural drawings for the design and plan. They have a project manager, Marcelo, who oversees the details. I am a very picky person as I have design and art background - when I saw the drawing, I was floored. It was gorgeous and I shockingly did not want to change one single aspect. Everything I mentioned verbally was included; the coach light, the gas line, the removal of a large pine stump, etc. Not one detail was missed or done in error. ETAs were adhered to and I was updated along the way. When the crew showed up to start work, they were also all very polite, accomodating and respectful of my family and the property. With any large project, there are inevitably hiccups along the way. There were a couple minor things that happened and they were immediately remedied and Raffy and Marcello were always very responsive via text or phone. Because the project was contracted in the fall, the weather was quite damp and then winter came. Because of the dampness, some of the sealer didn't take. Once Spring arrived, I didn't even have to call Elite to come look or ask them to fix it. One day, a work van showed up and they were here taking inventory of any warranty issues. They had it power washed and re-sealed within the week, ready for the Spring planting season so we could simply get started on our gardening! I could not be more pleased with the service, design and workmanship from Elite (Raffy, Marcelo, Marina and entire crew!). Our concrete work is so gorgeous and functional, it makes my yard a beautiful summer oasis to simply relax and enjoy. It is how I've always hoped and envisioned my yard and outdoor space to be and it has increased the value of my home immensely. I cannot say enough about Elite... don't hesitate to invest in a project with them. You won't regret it!

Every once in a while, a company comes along whose image on paper meets what they deliver in practice. In my case, they exceeded it. I am completely blown away by the job Elite recently completed for me. Choosing Elite Designed Concrete to work on transforming our backyard in 2007 was one of the best reno decisions we had ever made. Raffi is honest and forthright, and always promptly addressed any concerns or questions we had along the way. Marcello and crew performed perfection in the construction of our backyard patio and front walkway...and 9 years later it is still in pristine condition. As an architect involved in custom residential projects I look for people who can reliably deliver to my clients a very high quality of product and service. At a recent project Elite built an extensive multi-tiered concrete hardscape that required precision and attention to detail. Elite brought professionalism, technical expertise and a refined design sensibility. The job turned out beautifully and exceeded all expectations - my client was very happy with the result. As with all the other reviews I can not say anything more than Wow in regards to the service and quality I have received from Raffy and Marcelo from Elite Designed Concrete. To make a long story short my wife and I moved into a new home in which the driveway was basically gravel. In doing research I decided to go with concrete instead of interlock due to the durability and look. After more research I found EDC and met with Raffy. Though he was extremely busy he took time to meet with me on a Saturday and provide me with a quote the same day. I knew that I needed to get my driveway fixed as winter would be a huge challenge with just mud and gravel. Though EDC was booked Raffy with the help of Marcelo were able to fit in my driveway and get it completed before winter. I can go on and on with how great Marcelo was with the design as well but please check their work and it speaks for itself. I would highly recommend EDC and though they are not the cheapest out there they are the best in terms of value.

We wanted a unique backyard built with stamped concrete. Marcello had really good ideas how to give us what we wanted. He really listened to what we wanted and made suggestions and recommendations on improving our design. He gave us reasons as to why he would do the work a certain way. The crew were fantastic. We have had a whole house reno done and the Elite crew is the sharpest crew in the city. Both Raffy and Marcello are very easy going and pleasant and fun. They communicate extremely well.
