Large Scale Front Entrance Deck Design/Build
From the initial consultation, design and budget, to the final touches, John from Hickory Hickory Deck, Toronto West, exceeded my expectations in every way possible. John and his team were very professional, responded to all questions quickly and clearly, kept us up to date throughout the project with helpful insights and focused on getting the job done without cutting corners. It was a pleasure to work with someone who enjoys and embraces his craft! I now have a stunning new front composite wood deck/entrance which I am thrilled with.

A Refreshing Change. Experts and all-around great guys.
Really, truly a top-notch crew and operation. I hired them for a large, very pricey, 2-storey deck rebuild in my back yard in Pickering that took about 2 months to complete. Ive had all sorts of dishonest, shady and lousy contractors on my property before, so this level of trust can naturally cause anxiety. But Adam and his entire team put me at ease immediately. I can be a worried micromanager at times, but this crew was so skilled, knowledgeable, professional, and most importantly, respectful, that I had zero worries or reason to interfere with them. They expertly and thoughtfully followed the plan as desired. The end result is better than imagined. We actually miss having them around. I highly recommend them and will hire them again for another upcoming project.

Structural Issues with Deck
We had a major structural issue with our deck and gave Steve at Hickory Dickory Decks (South Simcoe) a call. Steve came by, not only once, but twice to assess the situation. He showed concern and came up with a game plan. Steve was not only professional, but very genuine and took the matter seriously. His team worked 4 days straight, in the cold and dark to make sure our deck was structurally sound. They were determined to ensure that our deck could be used safely by our family for years to come. I can't thank Steve for his kindness, compassion and support. Steve and his team did an amazing job and our family can't thank them enough!

Composite Deck and Fence
Arturo, Stephane and the crew did a fantastic job building my new composite (PVC) deck and wooden fence. Communication was excellent from start to finish and the job site was left very clean and tidy every day and the quality of the workmanship is second to none! I could not be happier with the end result! I am looking forward to many years of enjoyment on my beautiful deck!

Composite Deck
Weve used HDD on two other occasions while living in Durham Region so when we moved to Simcoe County, we didnt hesitate to contact HDD Barrie to build our new deck as we new the quality would be impeccable. Arturo and his team did not disappoint! They were professional, polite, pleasant, arrived on time each day and cleaned up after themselves before quitting for the day. The deck is beautiful and is better than we could have imagined.

Brennan, Caleb and the team were awesome to deal with we have a beautiful deck that we will enjoy for years to come best part is its nearly maintenance free. Professional team that takes great pride in their work. Highly recommend this company. Love our deck!
