Deck Replacement
Extremely happy with recent installation of composite decking to replace our wood one while looking for low maintenance options. On first visit, we were very impressed with Geoffs professionalism. He presented us with various options and pricing as well as possible design ideas. Kosal and the installation team did an excellent job with much attention to detail. They arrived promptly each day, worked quietly and cleaned up site at end of each day. They answered questions and accomodated a change request for skirting partway through process and finished first stage in a few days. When aluminum railing was ready, they returned promptly to install and we are thrilled with the results. We are happily enjoying the new deck as our our friends and family who are equally impressed. We highly recommend Geoff, Hosal and the entire team from HDD Scarborough.

New Deck
It was such a pleasure dealing with Hickory Dickory Decks. Theo provided excellent input which resulted in the perfect design & deck size for our backyard. The price quoted was the price we were billed which was reasonable. Dwayne did an amazing job building the deck. Both Theo & Dwayne are professional, knowledgeable & cared about the quality of work they provided. We would not hesitate to recommend Hickory DIckory Decks to friends & neighbours. Simply put they are PROS.

Patio/Deck
Beyond expectation. Excellent craftsmanship. Prompt, friendly, and accurate communications. Efficient and organized. Punctual and thorough post project clean up and removal of excess materials. Hands down a five star operation. We are very pleased with the outcome and with Geoff's management of the project. Many thanks to Geoff and his crew.

Poolside Pergola and Bar
We can not say enough good things about the workmanship and professionalism of Hickory Dickory Deck Durham. Adam and his team were great. The first time, they built us a deck (pre-pandemic). Adam helped us design a deck that would fit within the limits of our back yard and also increase privacy. This totally changed our back yard and created an oasis for us (see before and after photos). The end result was so good that we didn't hesitate to have them back this summer to build us a complementing gazebo. Adam was fantastic (and patient) working with us back and forth until we found the right dimensions and design to best fit around the restricted areas of the hot tub and pool area. The team lead was great and made particular attention to detail. Check out the composite bar (see photo). Hickory Dickory Deck Durham gave us a STAYCATION OASIS. Richard & Shirley in Ajax

Deck Replacement
We met with 3 other companies before meeting with Spencer from Hickory Dickory Decks - Durham (HDDD) to discuss a quote for a deck replacement. Right from the start we knew we were in good hands. There was no high pressure sales, just a discussion of deck design and the pros and cons of the different surface materials. HDDD is very experienced in working with low maintenance materials. We chose a PVC option for its superior durability, lower heat absorption in the sun and reduced slipperiness when wet. Spencer was well versed in the regulations for building in Durham. We had HDDD handle the building permitting process. The project proceeded as per the schedule and the permit was closed without any issues. The team showed up promptly every day and cleaned up the site every evening before leaving. Speaking of the team, not only do they truly like each other, they treated my wife and I with respect, answered all our questions and took the utmost care with our 30 year old shrubs. The team used premium materials, to create a well built deck with precision mitre edge joints. We highly recommend Hickory Dickory Decks - Durham.

Deck, privacy screens, railing & lights
Quality people and workmanship. The HDD team were a pleasure to work with. Work completed on time and on budget. Very comfortable after our first meeting. Would recommend 100% Neighbour liked ours so much, he now has a new deck from HDD.
