Backyard composite deck - looks fabulous, great service
Contacted Bob and his team in May and he quickly gave us samples and examples of how we could upgrade our old deck with composite material. They provided some designs and many colour samples. The team did a great job - in three weeks we had a great new, skunk-proof deck that looks fabulous. Bob and his team were responsive to our questions and changes. Would highly recommend this team. Love, love, love our deck.

Deck
Hats off to Hickory Dickory Decks Barrie for a job well done in designing and installing a quality composite deck to complement our on-ground pool. From concept to completion, Arturo and his crew were a pleasure to work with. Arturo carefully reviewed with us a variety of options and thoughtful suggestions to ensure our deck would meet our needs and turn out as we envisioned. Questions and concerns were consistently addressed in a timely manner, and the project was completed on time and on budget. We would highly recommend HDD Barrie, Arturo and his crew to any prospective client.

New PVC Deck from Hickory Dickory Decks
We had a new deck designed & built by our local Hickory Rep, Rob (South West Mississauga), to replace an old Cedar deck that was in constant need of repair. We decided to go with a low-maintenance option, using PVC Decking. Rob allowed us to custom-design the deck, including a unique privacy wall (frosted glass on top, full aluminum on bottom), and locking gate at the top of the stairs. The construction went very smoothly. Construction started on time and the deck was completed in only 1.5 weeks (railings/privacy wall came afterwords). Rob and his colleague, Mitchell are excellent workers, and took extra care to get every detail right! All work was done in very hot weather, so the effort was exceptional. We’re extremely satisfied with our deck, and have had numerous compliments from friends & neighbours. We highly recommend Rob and Hickory Dickory Decks!

Deck - stair and landing - looks great but ...
While Peter did a good job helping with the permit and drawings, the completed project does not match the drawings! They built the “right deck”, but did not put it in the “right place” (it’s off by over a foot) compared to the drawings. It’s very difficult to close the door as the landing is a not located properly. Sadly, we didn’t insist they make it right at the time. Lesson learned.

Deck Project Whitby - Hickory Dickory Decks Durham
Adam and his crew were great. Deck was 450 sq feet. Materials were top quality, right down the the vinyl decking and stainless steel fasteners. The helical piles meant very little disruption to the property. The crew were professional and competent. Polite and courteous through the entire process - and wore all the appropriate PPE in a Covid world. They were also extremely diligent, even down to using a speed square to position the joists and ensure the visible fasteners were perfectly aligned. . The deck is straight, level and square, just as it should be. Zero mess left when the crew were finished. Great job. Easy to deal with.

Deck board replace
Our 19 years old deck has never looked better before. The price is reasonable and the company (Bob & Fred) did an excellent job. I strongly recommend them. Many neighbors already asked me who did the deck.

Vinyl Deck built by Rob Hendriks from Mississauga South West
Had a great experience with Rob Hendriks from Mississauga South West and his installer Mitch. Rob worked closely with us to design our deck. He was extremely professional and patient through multiple design changes as we worked with him to design our dream backyard space. Installation was on-time with no delays and Mitch had a strong sense of work ethic, arriving first thing every morning and cleaning up the site at end of day. Throughout the job Rob was very attentive and focused on ensuring we were 100% satisfied with the installation and final product. We couldn't be happier with our new deck. A quality deck to enjoy for many years to come.

Deck (composite, helical piles), fence, gate
We had an excellent experience with Hickory Dickory Decks Toronto West! Ivan and his team were professional, friendly and a pleasure to have onsite at our home. They took pride in doing quality work and were attentive to detail, efficient and tidy. Excellent communication, as well as problem-solving in coming up with practical and satisfying solutions to the site conditions. Very clear pricing of different design and material alternatives. Helical piles were a good choice for our project, and we appreciate that Ivan and the company keep up with new materials and methods. Highly recommend.

Hickory Dickory Decks Ottawa East for Small Deck
I highly recommend Hickory Dickory Decks at Ottawa East! Back in 2015, we hired Ibrahim and his team to build a small deck in our backyard. It's now 2020, and that deck still looks brand new and is as sturdy as the day it was completed. Ibrahim was amazing to deal with, he was very informative and professional when discussing options with us and made it feel like we were talking to a friend and not a salesman. He wasn't pushy with products or tell us our deck was too small and even suggested ways we could save some money like using cedar for the sides instead of composite all over. He also noticed our gate entry to the backyard was difficult to open and gave us a very reasonable quote to install a new one which he ended up building from scratch. When it came to installation, Ibrahim was always on time, most times arriving a little early, he and his team worked respectfully in our backyard, cleaning up after each day and especially once everything was done. He also followed up after the work was done to ensure we were satisfied, and believe me we were beyond satisfied. We have and will continue to recommend Ibrahim and Hickory Dickory Decks to anybody looking to have a deck built.

Front Porch Replacement
Our old wooden front porch was on it’s last legs, and we decided to go with a quality, no maintenance option to replace it. Bob from the Mississauga N/W branch was extremely helpful and got us set up with our new vinyl decking solution while keeping the cost from getting out of control. Fred and Art were super friendly and knowledgeable and did a great job building the porch (on some of the hottest days in July no less). We are very happy with the finished product and highly recommend Hickory Dickory Decks.
