New Deck in Backyard
My wife and I are extremely happy with our new deck. We decided to spend some extra money and go with a composite deck and we couldn't be happier with our decision. Arturo and his team were a pleasure to deal with and our 900 square foot deck was built ahead of schedule. It was completed within 7 business days...and it even rained on 2 of those days. As you can see in the pictures, they did a great job and the job site was always neat and tidy at the end of the day. We're planning to have them back in the spring to get some more work done. Three Decks & A Gazebo
We recently contracted Hickory Dickory Decks (out of Brantford, with coordination through the head office in Dundas/Flamborough) to build three decks at our rural chalet style home (two replacements; one new). Will O’Brian, the sales agent, was personable, professional and thorough in taking measurements, advising on costs (every other company we brought in to quote on the job gave us vague numbers and/or lump sum costs), and drawing up the plans (as well as answering our questions and keeping in touch throughout the project). We were invited to the head office to view the various materials available for construction, discuss the options, and review the specific costs for each. It was an easy decision to ‘sign on the dotted line’ at the end of the meeting. The two carpenters who actually built the decks, Justin and Thyan, were exceptionally skilled and diligent, arriving early each morning and working through (even in the rain) to complete the decks in a timely fashion. Their work ethic and attention to detail was remarkable. Justin went above and beyond in designing and constructing a ‘flowing’ staircase at the front door, and the quality of construction was exemplary. The end result is three exceptionally well built and attractive decks (one with a ‘floating’ gazebo at the end) that will stand the test of time and look great for years to come. I would highly recommend this team of young men to anyone considering having a deck built at their home. Outstanding!

Deck build
Am very happy with Mike & his guys upon the completion of our deck. A pleasure from start to finish - good communication throughout along with high quality materials & workmanship. Project came in ahead of time & on budget despite unforeseen changes. Very highly recommended.

Multi-level deck
We were incredibly happy with Geoff and his team who not only delivered a finished deck EARLY but to our specifications. Their professionalism and customer service was exemplary and their follow up was very attentive. I'd happily recommend them to friends and family.

deck
I am so happy with the service and quality of work we received from Mike and his crew. They built us a deck at our place in Nordegg and I am so happy with it. They definitely know what they're doing. Not only was it built well, but there are small details that add to the quality and aesthetics that only a professional would know to do. Mike was also really good about answering all of our questions. We are planning a covered deck at a later date, and I will definitely be calling Mike again.

Composite Deck
I highly recommend Ivan Icaza of Toronto West. From the moment we contacted him, Ivan was very professional and helped us make decisions regarding the budget and design of our deck. He provided us with lots of samples and explained the pros and cons of each. He also gave us a lot of ideas and suggestions regarding design and how to save costs. He tried his best to work with the very small budget we gave him. He was in constant contact with us, letting us know what’s happening every step of the way. He and his team member, Tom, came in early every morning so that the job would be completed early. They were very friendly and always happily answered all of our questions and concerns. I’ve had bad experiences with contractors who just don’t care but with Ivan and Hickory Dickory Decks, I just sat back and knew that I was going to get something wonderful in the end. We’re very happy with the final product; it’s a very peaceful and zen space. I would highly recommend Ivan for any future projects!

New composite deck
Amazing job! Working with Spencer was so easy and they were done so fast and efficiently. We had to accommodate for our outdoor faucet and HDD came up with a brilliant solution. We were so impressed! Thank you!

Deck Design & Construction
From our vague ideas and descriptions, Jamie Hurst and his team were able to capture and construct exactly what we had wanted - a high-quality, functional, beautiful cedar deck and BBQ pergola. An outdoor space that functions as an extension of our home! The patience, insight, professionalism and talent of this team is second to none. We would not hesitate to hire Hickory Dickory Decks in the future!

Deck in composite material
In 2016, Ibrahim Moujaber built a beautiful deck made of composite material for us. It was a smooth and pleasant process. Ibrahim consulted extensively with us and made several valuable suggestions. We are very pleased with the end result. This year we noticed that the light on the stairs were dim and provided uneven lighting. Ibrahim assessed the problem and immediately agreed to install a new lighting system. This was done free of charge under the one year warranty. We wholeheartedly recommend Ibrahim's services. He will not disappoint.

Backyard Deck
We were so impressed with Steve from Hickory Dickory Decks. He spent many hours with us helping us decide what it was we really wanted when it came to planning our deck. He was very patient and understanding. The installation team was quick and efficient and best of all we love our new deck!
