    Air conditioning repair

    We purchased our furnace, air cleaner & A/C over 10 years ago from Mark. The whole sales and installation process was professional and seamless. During the recent heat warning, our A/C stopped working, and we didn’t hesitate to call Mark. He is knowledgeable and diagnosed the problem by asking us a series of questions. He apologized that they were fully booked due to the heat wave but would try to squeeze us in. Despite the chaotic day, both he and the technician kindly kept us informed about their schedule and much to our relief, the repair was done the same day. The repair was thorough, not rushed, and properly tested. When it’s time to upgrade, we can trust Mark and High Life to guide us once again.

    Furnace and water heater

    We contacted High Life to replace our furnace and water heater. Mr. Mark Yeung is a remarkable manager who took care of everything for us. He is very patient and answered all my questions and concerns very quickly from the beginning and even after the installations. Also Sam the technician is very knowledgeable and helpful too. There is no doubt that I'll recommend this company to friends & family! Keep up the great work! Thanks for all your assistance!

    Installation of air conditioner and humidifier

    They arrived on time and were very good about explaining what they needed to do and approximately how long it would take. This gave me peace of mind and allowed me to plan out my day properly. After the installation, they cleaned everything up and showed me what was installed and how to use each product. They even stayed to test my system a nd showed me how to download the app to connect my smart thermostat to my phone to control my new air conditioning unit. They were very friendly and very professional. They were very patient and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend High Life for anyone's air conditioning and humidifier needs.

    Service for AC unit

    AC unit down on long wkd - only happens to be in the middle of a heatwave. Called and left several messages for support. No response. VM full. Finally got a hold of Grace after long wkd - she sent over tech. Tech advised it probably a leak. Asked if I wanted to investigate where the leaks was at $375 plus tax. I wanted the unit repaired as it’s a Trane which I paid top dollar for. He added the N2 and advised he would be back the next day with parts. I confirmed with Grace as well before paying for the service that Sean would return. No luck! Six days without AC. Suggest not to purchase from a smaller company. They can’t provide the support. Plus the are focused on installs - where the real money is found. Better to do a rental type plan that way you can hold the company accountable.

    Hi Amit. It is unfortunate that your unit broke down during the heat wave. After our diagnostic we ordered the part right away. Unfortunately due to the hot weather and the high demand for components the manufacturer did not have the part on hand and it had to be shipped from another provence. We have Recieved comfirmation of the part arrival on Monday and will have that part replaced for you once it arrives. We apologize for the inconvenience and we hope you understand that the part had to be brought in as the supplier was out of stock.     Poor service and installation

    I bought both air conditioner and heater 7 years ago and had annual service from them and was told everything was in great shape. Last year, 3 days after the service, air conditioner did not work. Came back and said a part had to be changed and it would be $200. I told him that we had the tune up only 3 days ago. They said it was nothing to do with the tune up, take it or leave it. They fixed it ( last September). In June this yer, the air conditioner broke down. I asked another company to check it. They told me the coolant had been leaking from the coil for a long while. Had to change the coil for over $1000. At the same time, they suggested me to change the exhaust piping of the heater because it is too small for a 2 and a half ton heater and there are six elbows, normally should be two to three only. The guy said it was really poorly installed.

You mentioned that the ac was installed 7 years ago but you paid for a replacement part even though the unit would be under warranty. You also mention an excess amount of elbows.     Questionable ethics with techs for AC unit install

    Tech came in to install Carrier AC, didn't bring brackets, was going to level it with interlock pavers found on my neighbor's property without asking (!?) until we stopped them and called their office to bring brackets. Wired up the unit to the furnace wrong, claimed AC would turn on in a few hours, had to bring in a 3rd party to get it fixed. Carrier unit works great though, but that's Carrier.
