    Kitchen, bathroom renovations

We met loreto after we had another contractor messed everything up in our house. Multiple contractors walked in and practically refused to complete the job. Loreto came to visit the site. He was honest, personable and very professional. He gave us a quote in less than 24 hours and completed the job in less than two weeks. Lucas his colleague was absolutely amazing and helpful. Thanks loreto for a job well done. We appreciate it. I have already recommended him to two of my other family members.

    Bathroom shower tile renovation

I contacted Loreto a few weeks ago for a shower renovation after reading the positive reviews online. The reason why I needed the renovation was because the house and original tile installation was 10 years old and the previous tiles were not installed properly. In both corners (below shower head and the opposite wall) small tiles were used on one side which means over time the grout was deteriorating faster and the bottom tiles were getting loose. To avoid water damage and mold I decided to properly replace all of the shower tiles. Loreto was very accommodating in terms of scheduling and appointed Junior for the teardown and Karel for the tile installation. Junior was the one who put the finishing touches on the shower and throughout the entire process Junior was keeping in touch and everyone was always on time for their scheduled appointments. The entire process took three days (one for teardown and cement board installation, another for the tile installation and a third for the finishing touches) and the new shower looks great. This job was strictly a board and tile installation and I would definitely recommend Loreto and his team. In the future when we move into our new house and require an even fancier shower upgrade (glass doors, large tiles and no bathtub) I'll be giving him a call.

    Kitchen, Main Floor and Bathroom

Wow - these guys are fantastic. Absolute perfectionists in their work and we are so pleased. We did a major renovation on our Kitchen, Bathroom and main hallway. JBG completed all with great attention to detail and made sure the floors were 100% level. The Bathroom tile work is gorgeous. We are thrilled right across the board. Friendly and fair. We would defiantly recommend JBG to our friends and family and would use them again in a heartbeat. Dave and Tracy Tate

Basement Floor Level & Bathroom Tiling

After a lovely basement bathroom flooding and having to completely gut my entire 400sq. ft basement, the difficult part was the floor. It was uneven and badly damaged. I found JBG via Homestars and read their reviews and spoke with Loreto within two days. He was extremely kind and patient with all of my questions and was able to complete the first job of floor leveling within a few weeks (perfect for my time frame!) The gentlemen that came to actually complete the work were extremely pleasant and hard working. They kept me involved throughout their day. There was a small issue with a little step from main area to back room, but when I called Loreto to discuss, his guys were there that same day to fix it - wonderful! Next job was our very small bathroom. I wish I had before pictures but we gutted it within one month of the flood - but it was horrible and gross! Loreto sent me Karel who is my angel without wings. The work he did was spectacular (and tedious!) Again, he used his experience and professional opinion to recommend solutions to certain issues and I could not be more happy with the result. My small and teeny tiny washroom looks like something out of a magazine! I can't wait until the fixtures and amenities go it! Loreto and team - thank you!!!! Your service and pricing were fantastic! I will call again soon for my kitchen back splash :) Thank you Loreto for your wonderful work. My basement is level and finally starting to be user-friendly! Can't wait to tile!

    2 Washroom Renovations

JBG Tile has done two washroom renovations for us. The workmanship was very professional and the crew on site were very courteous, efficient and helpful. Their work is very impressive. The crew are very experienced and thoughtful - they do not rush the work and want the customer to be happy. I highly recommend this company to anyone wanting a great job for any tile work.

    Home Renovation Tiling

Just a fantastic job. I'm over the moon, aesthetically, with the final product, and Loreto did a great job of keeping in touch and dealing with any problems afterwards. I got my full flooring tiled as well as every wall in my bathroom, and the job is incredibly professional, visually attractive, went almost exactly on budget and -- considering how small my unit was and the fact that I couldn't move all of my furniture out -- took a remarkably small amount of time. On budget, on time, and high quality.

    Bathroom Remodel

On the recommendation of a friend, I hired another contractor to tile two bathrooms. The first contractor started the job three weeks late and, when he poured the shower basins, he used the wrong material and they were not sloped properly to allow for drainage. His errors cost me valuable time and materials. I then hired Loreto. They did the job when they promised (soon after I hired them), at the cost agreed upon. The bathrooms look great. His was not the cheapest quote - but sometimes quality costs more.

    Kitchen and front hallway tile

JBG Tile did a great job of installing our 12x24" porcelain tile in our kitchen and front hallway. The space is open to the living and dining area so the tile abuts to the hardwood, several doorways, some carpeting, etc. It was important to me that we minimized the height difference between the different flooring types and not use the wood-style transition strips. In addition, given that our house is approximately 50 years old, the underlying subfloor was very uneven. We had chosen 12x24" tile which, as Loreto explained, would be more difficult to install over our uneven subfloor without some lipping occurring. Despite all of these factors making for not the easiest of jobs, we felt that the team did a great job in minimizing lipping and matching the height of the tile to the existing hardwood. To help match the height differences, they installed a stone transition (which looks quite nice in our space). After the initial installation day we noticed that a couple of the stone pieces were cracked/uneven but JBG was quick to send somebody over to fix them. Overall, we are happy with the results and may call on JBG again for our future bathroom renos.
