Patios and Decks
When I ordered them to build me a deck, the guys were really friendly and respectful. They cleaned up their mess quickly and quietly. I was really satisfied with their job and i even recommended them to some of my friends. My deck was finished in about 3 days. Even my mother enjoyed watching them build. I am really satisfied with their work of how they got their job done, cleaned it up, and left. Now i am left with a nice and stable deck. Thank you.

New Deck
I had a new deck built onto my home, and I thought they did a great job. I was happy with the finished product and I was happy with the clean up they did. They were very professional and friendly.

New Deck
Alec did an EXCELLENT job on my deck. It was a real pleasure having him do the work. Not only did he do a good job on the deck but he did a awesome job on waterproofing the area underneath the deck as well. The job was completed on time. I was out of town and came back and the work was complete and I was very satisfied with the results. I will recommend you to my friends. Thank you Alec!

Cedar Deck & Pergola
I would like to share my full satisfaction from a recent project I trusted to Alec and his team and from Master Deck. Alec is a true professional and a Master carpenter / designer who knows what he does. Not only he provided many inputs to improve our thoughts during the design process (without being pushy or upselling!), he delivered and finished the project on time. His quality of work will meet and exceed any expecations and his meticulous attention to details is what separate him from many others. It would not do justice not to mention his excellent customer service. He openly welcomed a minor change to the original plan (before being too late) with such a welcoming attitude that we appreciated. I will certainly recommend Alec to anyone I know and all readers in this blog. Quality of work, excellence in design, on time delivery and implementation aside, Alec and his team are very professional and pleasant to work with. They certainly should be the platinum benchmark on how the client experience with a building contractor should be. Hamid, Richmond Hill, ON.

deck design and build
After reading the numerous glowing reviews about Alec and his work on Homestars I decided to give Alec a shout myself...and I'm sure glad I did. It was not a small job (450 square feet of deck on 2 levels) and I had some very specific and time consuming requests as well (angle cuts, borders, multiple woods ((tiger wood, cedar and composite)), extensive skirting, stairs, not to metion it was being builut into a hill) but Alec had some great ideas and a competitive price. Bottomline, I couldn't be happier with the end result. Quality of workmenship is outstanding and it's very obvious Alec is a true professional who takes pride in his work. Will definitely be having him back for further work and reccomend him to others without hesitation.

3rd Floor Deck

Decks and Fences
Alex does superb work. He pays attention to the important things, like digging proper foundation for the underground structure. He installed far more footings than industry standard, for the price we paid. The workmanship was first rate and we have a very strong, low maintenance deck that will last for many many years. And Alex is very pleasant to work with.

Concrete pad for shed
I completed assembly and installation of a new vinyl shed on the concrete foundation supplied by Alec and crew. The fit, level and location was perfect and we are extremely happy with the finished project. The terrific Home Stars Reviews on Master Deck was the reason I had selected them. When planning future home service needs, Alec will be top of mind and I would highly recommend Master Deck to family and friends.

deck renovation
I was very pleased with the exceptional work done by Alec and his crew. I had some idea about what changes I wanted done to my deck, but needed some help. I wanted to remove the old railing and stairs and add privacy screens,a pergola,new railing,a gate,and new stairs. Alec's advice was extremely helpful, and the finished deck with the attention to the little details made this project a big success. I would highly recommend Master Deck.

Demolition of Garage, Concrete Pad and New Deck & Fence
We hired Alec of Master Deck to tear down an old garage, build a concrete pad for a shed, build a deck and 80 foot fence. Our neighbour also hired him to build their deck. Alc and his team were real "champs". They were in every morning at 7:30, and worked a full day. It took them 7 days to compelte BOTH projects. The craftmanship, attention to detail, quality of materials and friendliness of the crew maybe the whole experience painless. In addition, his cost was very competitive. I would not even hesitate for a second to recommend Alec for a job.
