I agree with most of the reviews for this company. No idea why it is still in business. The customer service is diabolical, especially the time taken to receive your order. It wasn't even easy finding a salesperson on the floor.

BRUTAL SERVICE. Paid in full for (in stock) furniture to be delivered 2 weeks later. It has now been a month and no delivery, zero communication, a complete lack of organization. The most annoying factor is that I've called maybe 10 times and everyone says someone will call back which never happened. If time is not an issue for you, the prices are competitive.

Spent a ton of money on loads of home furnishings only to experience the WORST customer service ever! Ordered a sofa table which the sales woman said would only take "a couple weeks" and when it finally arrived 2 months later, it was broken! Calls to customer service went unanswered. Finally returned the Table but took 2 weeks, several more unanswered phone calls and finally another trip in person down to the store and still no refund! After several mildly threatening and frequent calls, i finally got my refund. This store has beautiful furniture but the customer service, or lack thereof, is absolutely shocking! although we have purchased several beautiful pieces (including a stunning fabric bed) its simply not worth the hassle. Everything will take "a couple weeks," we waited a month for chairs that were never stained as per the agreement(so what was the delay??), 2 months for a broken table, 3 months for a bed! (i forgot what it was we even bought!!), i was told a chair was in only to call back to schedule pick up and there's no chair???!!! i will NEVER recommend this store to ANYONE and would suggest that unless you have a 3 month closing on a future home, DON'T SHOP HERE!!

After doing research on this company, I took the advice of HomeStars users and I just went in to judge for myself. This place can't be beat for selection and price. I ended up purchasing two leather sofas. If you are looking for a super special find don't hesitate checking this place out!

I bought a nice bed frame and couch. I've been asked if I wanted to pay in full on at the moment of the delivery. I paid in advance thinking that there wouldn't have been any problem. The manager told us that it was going to be delivered in 4-5 weeks. For me was fine because I got the house dec 30th 2010. I choose to have them both delivered at the same moment. Finally they call me and the delivery was for gen 29th 2011. SURPRISINGLY JUST THE BED FRAME GOT HERE AND THEY FORGOT THE SCREWS TO ASSEMBLE THE BED...........ANDDDDDDDDD THE COUCH!!!!!! THEY FORGOT TO TELL ME THAT THE COUCH WASN'T COMING. IT SUPPOSED TO COME TODAY 2/2/11. THEY ARE TELLING ME THAT NOW I HAVE TO WAIT 2/7/11!!!! THEY CAN'T EVEN RESCHEDULE EVERYTHING TO SEND THE COUCH TO A CLIENT THAT'S WAITING FOR LONG TIME AND THAT PAID EVEY THING IN FULL. SO STUPID

First trip to the store was good, liked the service, asked about wait times for furnitures, all the important questions that needed to be asked. The furniture purchased was for my daughter, I fell in love with the furniture at this store as it was very beautiful. I was told by the sales lady Mirella that it would take 2-3 wks, I was moving in 4wks time, i thought, PERFECT..... I will point form it from now as its too long to type.. - Given the run around btw reception and Mirella about my order. - They didn't show up at all on the first scheduled delivery dt!! Btw all this was more backforth, confusion for about 2wks regarding my order.. Spoke to Pat the owner..Didn't help me... HE SEND ME A LOANER BED "TEMPORARELY" so that my 20mth old can sleep on a bed and not on a mattress on the floor... it is now today January 27th 2011 and i call to find out the status of my order and why i haven't received my bed... turns out the "owner", cancelled out my order when he sent me the "loaner" bed, something other ppl have used when they screwed up their orders and its been 3mths and i still have no bed... this bed is antique white and my furniture is white (ie: chest and night table, which i received already).... Sorry for the long review.....VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS STORE... HIGH PRICES, HIGH END STORE DOESN'T MEAN HIGH END SERVICE!!!

We have bought many items from this store over the years. The common thread throughout our decorating is quality and that it is esthetically pleasing. We bought an awesome kitchen table and chairs. It has this rustic look to it. We made the best choice in choosing this company over all the rest. The owner has a lifetime of experience. Pat Johnson and the employees at the store were accommodating and thorough in taking care of our order and delivery.

Many years ago I purchased a substantial amount of furniture from this store. Today everything I bought looks as good as the day it was delivered. I always recommend people. Most recently I ordered a custom made headboard. It's something you wouldn't see anywhere else. It makes the bedroom look glamorous. Glad I went into Johnson's Trading first.

We have dealt with Johnson's Trading for years. They have a wide selection of quality furniture, good pricing and great customer service. Pat Johnson has been wonderful, knowledgeable and never pushy. We would rather drive the distance to shop there then buy furniture brands locally. They deliver to Markham Ontario.

I bought from GHJ when I first moved into my condo - prices were good, so was the service. 3 years later, i moved into my house..prices still good but after service was terrible. Store rep Rocky was nice - even remembered my name the second time...but when i went to arrange for delivery/pick my wife and I were met with terribly rude staff. The front line 9sales) great - the back line (office admin - shipping, payment, etc...) were terrible, so much so, I refuse to go by anything unless they have it there on the floor to pick up and leave. Fool me once, shame on yo, fool me twice.... Main point: If they have it there...buy it, prices are good...if they don't and you have to wait for it...you can find it some where else, same price, better all-around service
