Mr. Rooter Plumbing of GTA reviews (1923)

Needed a Kitchen Faucet swapped. They couldn't even give me a ballpark price until their tech showed up, probably because it'd give away how overpriced they are. Eventually he got there and quoted $415+tax for a job that should've been closer to $180. I initially said no, but the guy tells me my $180 must have been for "just the install, not the removal of the old faucet" and that no one would do it for that low. I have a tenant without a working faucet, so I decided to trust his word and agreed to the quote. I looked it up later and realized how overcharged I was. Even Home Depot lists $174 for this service on their website. I accept it was my fault for ultimately accepting the quote, but I didn't like being lied to about my other quote being for half the job. I complained to their management after, but all I got was a halfhearted apology. These guys overcharge like crazy. Do your research. Shop around. I guarantee you'll find better rates, by a significant margin.

Inspection only of current backwater valve and certificate of health for insurance company. Left the driveway clean. Was very difficult to unscrew driveway cap of valve, but he stuck with it. Allowed me to watch inspection so that I knew what to expect next time. Came equipped with all tools needed, and did a very professional job. Was shocked that the price had increased 2 1/2 times from the previous year. Wasn't warned, but I hadn't asked. Just assumed it would be the same price as last year.

Showed and was professional. Just couldn't fix the clog. He got stuck at the first 90 degree bend. For what he did I could have rented a snake and done it myself. I was paying for problem solving and a solution. Isn't that why we hire "professionals"? Waste of money. Felt gouged.

Had a great experience with Mr.Rooter to help me address a sewer backup in my drain. Jason came by next day during the long weekend holiday to assess the problem and quickly assessed the problem and scheduled an appointment the next day to flush out the line. The team came out and within 1 hour they fixed the issue.l, showed me the camera where the problem was and how it was cleaned out. The suggested some possible permanent solution to help rectify in the future. Highly recommend the company. Everyone was very professional and helped ease my concern taking time to answer my questions and resolve the issue promptly.

Over charged for a simple job. Not provided me with price break down prior to the job. Never do business with them.
