    Refinish stairs

    I had an old carpet on my stairs and when it came the time to renew we decided to refinish the stairs in wood. We received three quotes and selected NewRidge Refinishing. Scott and John were great dealing with during the estimate phase. Cost and expectations were clear throughout. John and Balint worked for two weeks and completed the work in time and with great quality. They took pride in their work and ensured we were happy with the final product. John and Balint were great to deal with and part of the family for two weeks.

    Fussy Virgo

    We live in an old Toronto house that desperately needed to have new flooring to replace the original oak. Mr. Sandman Sebastian and his team were absolutely fabulous, right from Sebastian coming to our house to meet us, giving us good advice on our product choice and preparing a quote. I wish I had more flooring and/or a bigger house just to have Sebastian take care of us. A wonderful experience!!

    Fabulous job on bedroom floors

    Excellent job on refinishing two bedroom floors. This was a last minute, quick turn around required project. I had to get the floors done before I had cabinets installed and Sebastian made sure to get us in quickly and to do it with the least amount of inconvenience. They were super clean and very hard working. The floors look amazing and all was done in the time required. This is the second time that I have had Sebastian in and I know that I will have him back again for other work. Excellent job!

    Hardwood floor Project

    Firstly I am so very sorry to write a late review. I researched various flooring companies before hiring New Ridge for the job and both me and my husband are very glad we did. From start to finish everything was impeccable and on time. Lori and her husband treated our home like theirs. They always kept us informed of everything. We have a stair reno project and we know that we will be hiring them. Thank you so much for getting the job done.

    Outstanding Customer Service

    I just want to give a shout out to how amazing this company's customer service is. I am still debating between sanding and refinishing our very old and scratched up floors or just painting them over until I can afford to replace them. Scott has been incredibly helpful and patient while I sort this out for myself. Incredible response times + super friendly assistance. I would highly recommend checking them out.

    Hardwood Floor Refinishing

    This company was a pleasure to work with from start to finish and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get their floors refinished! The customer service was consistently top notch from start to finish - Scott was responsive and thorough in answering my questions and Sebastian and his team did a wonderful job in refinishing the old (and very damaged!) oak floors in the 90+ year old house we just purchased. Two other contractors who I had quote on the job insisted that our floors could not be salvaged at all and that the hardwood had to be replaced (at 3x the cost!). New Ridge not only assured us that refinishing was possible during the quote process, but did such a great job when we hired them, that it is virtually impossible to see any of the floors' previous (and significant!) damage. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking to get floor work done, and we will definitely hire them again in the future, when the time does come for us to replace our old hardwood floors.

    oak floor refinishing

    3 months after they finished sanding and refinishing our circa 1930s hardwood, we continue to be pleased and satisfied with Newridgerefinishing. Matt was punctual, straightforward and accommodated our request to stage the 2 floors in 2 phases each so we avoided having to move furniture off each floor. Incidental repairs were done without issue. Dust was kept to a minimum and the end product suits the house including the exposed nailing from the original installation. Fair pricing. Happy to highly recommend Matt and Newridgerefinishing.

    Floating stair refinishing - very impressed

    We're two years into our total house renovation and New Ridge has been the most impressive contractor we've worked with. Very tidy, professional and exceptional attention to detail. We look forward to working with them on the rest of our floors. We could not recommend them and Matt more.

    Floors rescued from neglect and DIY abuse

    We are very pleased with Matt's work on the floors of our Victorian house. Previous owners' renovations had sanded-away most of the flooring's useful thickness, also leaving it uneven, gouged and delaminated. Matt made numerous spot repairs, reduced unfixable irregularities as much as the material allowed, and brought the resurfacing and refinishing to a level of consistency and beauty we could not have imagined possible; our house has been transformed. As others have mentioned, Matt takes his work very seriously; communications and cleanup were excellent. We would not hesitate to engage New Ridge again.

    Thanks for everything!

    Bought a new house and our hardwood floors were pretty bad due to the previous owners dog. Great communication getting a quote and deciding what needed to be done. Once they were here, the team was great and did an awesome job on our floors. They basically look brand new. Couldn't be happier. Thanks for everything!
