Hardwood flooring installation
Matt came to help install hardwood floors in my small townhouse second floor. All of this was coordinated by Scott, who was lightning fast with email. The qoute was fair. Matt came on time, and was very easy to work with. He was considerate and protected my place from the sanding dust. It only took him two days to complete a complicated job. Thanks Matt!

Hardwood Floor Refinishing
We had Newridge come around to refinish all the hardwood floors in our house (originally installed in the 60's, and in rough shape), including the stairs and matching hardwood handrailings. They sent their crew headed by Keen, and over the course of five days, transformed our floors to "like new" condition - they look amazing now! Keen actually mixed a stain colour to best complement our house and the finished colour is lovely. They even left some of the mixed stain with us in case anything needs to be touched up in the future. The job took as long as they said it would, and the job site was left clean. Overall, more than happy with Newridge and would recommend them without reservation to anyone else!

Parquet Floor Refinishing
I recently used NewRidge Refinishing as I had a large family room that needed sanding, staining and refinishing of the parquet flooring. I was impressed with their fantastic reviews on the internet, and they were very reasonable compared to other quotes I received. Sebastian and his son came promptly at 7:30 a.m. each morning and went to work. They did a fantastic job! It looks like a new floor! He was able to pick out the exact stain that I wanted with ease. I was installing new higher baseboards afterwards and didn't want to put down quarter round as was there previously, so I asked if they could slip in some pieces of parquet around the room perimeter where it might show when installing the higher baseboards without quarter round. Sebastian gladly did it at no charge as an added favour and it turned out great! They sealed the room with plastic as it was an open room to the rest of the house. I have to say the dust in the house was very minimal and their clean up was great. I would highly recommend this company!

Staircase and hardwood refinishing
I spent a year seeking for the best staircase refinishing and ended with NewRidge. Andre and his team had gone an extra mile to fix my landing at the staircase, the threshold nearby the foyer and brought my railing upto code. A pleasure to work with.

Hardwood Floor Refinishing
Excellent service and an outstanding result! My wife and I were looking to refinish, repair, and stain the 15 year old hardwood in the home we had just purchased. Gabor came in and did a comprehensive analysis of our aged and worn hardwood floors (that were put in incorrectly in the first place). Gabor was knowledgeable and friendly and walked us through the entire process, clearly explaining each step including how long it would take to complete and what the costs would be to complete the project. Despite the fact that the job ended up being more difficult than we had thought, Gabor and his team completed the work in a timely fashion while respecting the quote that he and Scott had originally presented. The floors look fantastic! It’s like we had completely new flooring installed. We are thrilled with the results, and extremely impressed with Gabor’s workmanship and work ethic. We would gladly recommend this company to anyone looking to do any hardwood flooring projects!

Wood Floor Installation and Refinishing & Stair Case Refinishing
I am delighted with the work done by Andre, Brian and NewRidge Refinishing. The work was finished on schedule, to specification and is stunning. They installed new hardwood flooring and were able to stain my old flooring in to match the new. There is no discrepancy in appearance between the new and old flooring. In this way, I was able to save cost. They also refinished my stairs and added wrought iron railing pickets. The stairs are gorgeous! They were very pleasant, personable and professional. I would highly recommend their work.

Wood Floor & Stair Case Refinishing
NewRidge Refinishing exceeded our expectations. We asked New Ridge for a quote to install new hardwood in our dining room and living room as well as to refinish the existing hardwood in the hallway and family room and to refinish our staircase to match. We wanted to update the look. We were impressed with Sebastian's knowledge, experience and confidence that he could meet our expectations. New Ridge's quote was reasonable and we chose them based on Sebastian's visit and the positive reviews on Homestars. The reviews were correct. Scott answered our questions promptly from the business and scheduling aspect. The work was done in January 2014 and was completed in 5 days. Sebastian and his crew including Paul, Vinny and Joey were prompt and work was done on schedule. Sebastian was constantly present and involved and supervised all aspects of the work. He was very patient and took the time to answer all our questions throughout the process including choosing the stain colour. Sebastian treated the work in our home as if it were his own with close attention to detail. Sam and his son Antonio did an amazing job of painting the staircase spindles and risers. We are thrilled with the results and absolutely love the new look of our hardwood every time we walk through the front door. It feels like a brand new home. Thank you to everyone at NewRidge. You've done a great job!

Replace flooring
We had New Ridge remove existing hardwood and carpet in our newly purchased 30 year old house. We discussed options for refinishing but after honest feedback from Sebastien he recommended replacing the existing hardwood so that we could accomplish a seamless look throughout the entire house approximately 3,000 sqft. The project was started and completed on time. The quality of workmanship was amazing by both Paul and Sebastien. There were many intricate cuts required around our curved staircases, all were done with fantastic precision. When we've had other contractors through for other jobs, they have all commented on the professional installation job by our flooring company. I wouldn't hesitate recommending NewRidge for your flooring renovations.

Wood Floor & Stair Refinishing
We moved into our dream home except that the color of our floor was awful. We envisioned a charcoal-gray; a color not commonly seen and a challenge to achieve as a stain. NewRidge was confident they could achieve that color. With a few test strips and not even 1 week later...they did it! We had the floors we wanted! In fact, they turned out better than we expected! :)

Hardwood floor replacement
We would definitely recommend NewRidge to anyone looking to redo their hardwood floors. Scott was prompt in answering our initial request to get a quote for our hardwood floors. Sebastian was able to come to our house to give us an assessment and provided us with a quote the next day. The response time via email and telephone was excellent, and they answered our many questions and guided us through the process on replacing the floors. We had the original hardwood floors removed and replaced with brand new hardwood floors. Sebastian and Paul were great. They arrived promptly at 7am for both days and were courteous and informative. On the first day, they removed the original hardwood, screwed down the existing subfloors to the joists (as this was the focal point of the project -- the floors were squeaking at each step) and applied a layer of plywood. The next day, they installed the new hardwood and made special attention to the several custom intake vents we have on the floor, as well as beveling the hardwood around the floor of the fireplace. We are very satisfied with the work done by Sebastian and Paul. We get continuous compliments of how well the floor looks and how it feels. We want to thank Sebastian, Paul and Scott for all their hard work! We look forward to working with you in the future when we replace the floors on the second level. Thanks again!
