Refinishing Builder's stars with oak treads and risers
I called NewRidge Refinishing based on other reviews I had read on HomeStar's website. Heath did a great job building, staining and finishing the stairs. He was knowledgeable, dependable and a very neat and tidy worker. I will definitely call NewRidge for future projects.

Hardwood Floor Refinishing
Sebastian examined my floors and gave me a good assessment. He was very professional and did his best to accommodate my schedule, so I booked his services. He completed the job with tight timelines and I am very pleased with the results.

Floor Refinishing, entire home, 5 bedrooms.
Update, It has been 3 years now and the floors look like they were just done, the material Sebastian used was the best. We love them and its the best decision we made. We are planning on doing our basement and they would be first on our list to call thanks Sebastian and Scott We decided to remove all the carpeting and then refinish all of the hardwood thought our entire home. We met with 4 different companies and NewRidge and Sebastian provided us with the most accurate/honest information, professionalism, value and the rating on homestars was very high. Sebastion was very knowledgable, appraochable and most importantly did the job himself. Scott also was very responsive to all of our questions. We had a lot of damaged areas with razor cuts from the carpeting, pet stains from the previous owners, not to mention many other small areas that needed repairs. We were worried on how it would all turn out. Sebastion was always on schedule, professional and responded to all of our questions and requests to correct a few items. The floors turned out well especially in the areas of the damage which we were worried about. When call, he came back to adress a few items. We have only one outstanding item where the floor raised slightly in an area that was repaired with new wood in the dining room in the last month, but I have not had the chance to call them yet and I am sure it will be corrected as they are a team that truely believe in an excellent job and their focus on customer service is the best I have seen. I would highly recomend them to everyone and would use them again without hesitation. You wont go wrong if you use them. Thanks Sebastion and Scott! We love our floors! Well Done!

Considering the job was done around spring/summer there hasn't been a point where the heat would be on. Main floor hard wood refinishing
Matt and Scott were great to work with. They were always on time and helped us through every step of the way. After having several quotes and meeting with people they had a great price and friendliest service. The timeline they gave us was met with no delays just as promised. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to get there floors done. A special thanks to Matt who did the floors they look great!!!!

Living room floor refinishing
We were very happy with the work done by NewRidge Refinishing. They were able to start and finish the job all in 1 day. The price was very reasonable. We would recommend them to others.

Floors refinished
We are extremely plesed with the result of refinishing our floors and stair treads which were sanded, stained and varathaned. Sebastian was punctual, knowledgable and honest which is very rare. He explained what he was doing and discussed any issues as they arose. He communicated when he would be working each day and was prompt which was appreciated. The price paid for the work we had done was excellent. We would definitely recommend NewRidge to anyone looking to refinish their floors.

New hardwood floor
We used NewRidge to replace our hardwood floor and were thrilled with their work and the result. Scott and Matt were incredibly helpful, responsive and available for our many questions and concerns and they did an amazing job. They were professional, careful, and diligent. Very highly recommended.

Refinishing of Floors
Rooms were painted without drop sheets. The floors had basically been cast away as not worthy. I was amazed at the work !! Fabulous from rot and ruin to pure delight Thank you

Hardwood Floor Refinishing
After a few months of indecision we decided on Newridge Refinishing to redo our hallway and kitchen hardwood floor. Sebastian and his crew came and started the work as promised. We decided what colour our newly refinished floor should be to match the existing living room and dining room floor and left to run some errands. It did not take long when we received a call from Sebastian asking us to reconsider our choice of stain. He explained he was not happy with our selection and showed us on the freshly sanded floor his recommendation for a much better match. Well, let’s just say you never argue with a truly experienced professional. Sebastian was absolutely correct and we were very pleased he was not only concerned but also pointed out a solution to the problem. We also asked for a hard wearing hi gloss urethane and again he did not disappoint us with an application of three coats of professional basketball court urethane. Needless to say, after two months of heavy traffic and a hyper dog running back and forth there is still not one scratch in sight. My wife and I are more than satisfied with the professionalism, workmanship and attention to details of Sebastian and Newridge Refinishing and would not hesitate recommending them to anyone. stairs refinished and painted
Good from Far. Far from good. What started off as good, soured in a matter of 24 hours. Crew was rude and disrespectful. Left their lunch remains on the lawn, poured varnish remains all over the driveway and to top it off installed the banister and pickets incorrectly where the pickets had 2inch gaps between stair and banister. Painter complained more about how he was losing money than actually focusing on doing a good job. Left paint all over the stairs. "Fixing" the defficiencies meant adding caulking so we wouldn't see the gaps,which shrunk in a day. Tried to resolve constant difficiencies and unfortunately Scott and Gabor were non receptive and defensive. Was told what should have been a 2 day job was a 3 week job. VERY VERY unsatisfied.

Dear Dianne, Gabor and I are sorry you feel this way. Gabor and I apologize for the way you feel the workers treated you during the project and we will speak to them and bring up these concerns. However, Gabor and I have been very responsive to your requests and Gabor himself has come over many times to do touch-ups. Most recently on Tuesday he came over to your house to settle everything up with you and you provided the final balance and everything was left on good terms. If you feel that we did not treat you with respect then I don't know what to say but to apologize if we made you feel that way. Expressing them on a public form like this without talking to us about it directly leads me to believe you just want to vent. That is your decision and we respect that. To anyone else reading this we can prove to you the work done was satisfactory and the client did confirm the work completed. If you want to see pics and references of this and other work Gabor did just look at our portfolio or contact us and we will be glad to provide them to you. Our expectations are to make every client happy and do the best job but we can't control other peoples emotions. Do we deserve a ten on this job probably not and that is ok we can't be perfect all the time but to give us a zero leads me to believe any other reputable contractor would have the same result at the end of this job.
