I replaced the roof shingles on my house and was looking to replace leaky 26 years old eavestroughs and downspouts. I chose North Shore Eavestroughing despite that I had lower quotes for the following reasons: 1. They don't do roofs but specialize in eavestroughs; 2. They had exceptional reviews from other satisfied customers; 3. Personality and professionalism of Darren Perry. Actually I should probably start with the last one, because Darren was the main reason that I selected his company. Not only he returned phone call on time, but he was the only one who actually returned my phone call. He explained me what exactly this seamless system will do, how it will work and what are the benefits of doing it one way versus the other. The entire work was completed in one day. However when Darren came to accept his guys' work, he required them to do some changes so that the pipes will work better. Darren is real picky to every detail of the finished job. In a few days after the rain some of the corners were leaking. I called Darren in the morning and the same day everything was corrected. I would definitely recommend North Shore Eavestroughing as number one company for replacement of eavestroughs and downspouts.

This home is located on a reverse ravine with several sets of steps, and an extremely high roof line. The crew was so careful in the new surrounding gardens! Safety was clearly considered by Northshore due to the terrain of the lot. The sales process was painless and the turn aroundtime to completion was timely.

Estimating was careful, reflecting our special needs for re-routing, adding downspouts and disconnecting from the city sewers. Installers were accomodating,neat and experienced. The proposed schedule for the work was met exactly. A call-back for a minor correction was done willingly and well. Overall, a very satisfactory and pleasing experience.

At first, I was somewhat sceptical in making my final hiring decision based on the reviews on this website. I am now a believer, and trust the comments posted by other satisfied clients. There was a lot of work, 3 days to be exact, and the end result looks amazing. Everyone I dealt with at this company was very polite, knowledgeable, and professional. Darren, the owner, personally inspects the work of all his crews. He proved to be a true perfectionist and cared about the reputation of his company, and the quality of his work. After inspecting the new soffit above my porch, he thought it would look better if it was installed in a different way. He had the crew rip out what they just finished, and re-installed the soffit in a slightly different fashion at no additional cost to me! The eaves trough, fascia, and soffit were all made on site to ensure a custom fit. This process was time consuming and tedious, however you get a much cleaner, tight, and polished finish than you would get from using a prefabricated product. I would like to thank to A.J. and Mitch Lees, the installers, for their hard work. They came on time, cleaned up prior to leaving each night, and worked till 8:00 pm on the last day to get the job done. If you want a quality job, done right, the first time, I would recommend North Shore Eavestroughing.

After having less than positive experiences with contractors in the past, our faith has been restored by the whole team at North Shore. From estimate to completion, this team was exceptional to deal with. They are extremely professional, have expert knowledge, can make necessary changes on the fly during installation, and left the property cleaner than when they arrived! Not to mention the courteousness (and sense of humour) of the install team. We will recommend them to anyone who will listen, and will be using them for additional work on our home in the future. You won't go wrong with North Shore.

Initial contact was prompt, professional and personable. Sale was courteous, with expertise evident. Contract was simple and straightforward. Service was done at appointed time. Personnel were hardworking,polite and efficient. Clean-up was thorough. No surprises. This contract was the most pleasant of all our extensive work at our home. Highly recommended.

I chose Northshore because of the excellent reviews on here. I had high expectations of them and they did not disappoint. The communication was excellent with Angela in the office. She was always polite on the phone and proficient at getting me any paperwork I needed via e-mail. She booked me a date for the installation and the crew showed up on the day as promised. It was a rather large job and required 2 working days to complete. Much of it was messy and slow work. The hardest parts involved ripping out old soffits and water damaged plywood and putting in new attic vents and batt insulation underneth the roof deck. Mitch and Rushdee never complained always kept positive and upbeat even with old wood fragments and old insulation falling around them, and at times on them too. Northshore put in new heavy gauge aluminum soffits and hung a custom 5" seamless eavestrough with alu-rex leaf guards for me. The finished product is just gorgeous and the quality speaks for itself. I am looking forward to rain and even winter now. A big Thank You to Rushdee and Mitch Lees for the excellent effort and workmanship. Neigbours have already approached me commenting on how nice it looks. I highly recommend Darren Perry and Northshore Eavestroughing.
