We had Northwood out to put in a gas line to our new stove...they arrived on time, were courteous and professional and did a great job. The second time I booked them for a furnace servicing there was some mix-up with scheduling and some miscommunication in terms of the timing of the appointment, but after saying they couldn't make it due to being swamped with "no-heat" calls, they came anyway. It was a good thing, since they discovered that our furnace is in bad shape and we were at risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. The technician took a lot of time to explain everything about the different options, very courteous and patient.

This company is excellent. Their employees are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. Their service is of very high quality and they are on time and return all calls promptly. There is no comparison with the quality of their duct cleaning. It took hours and was done much more thoroughly than any other company I have seen. There is definitely a difference in the type of duct cleaning and equipment used between companies. We will use this company for all future furnace/air con/duct needs.

We called Nothwood Heating & Air Conditioning once again because we were so pleased with our previous experience with their company. Recently, Gary, Brian and their crew continued to impress us with their honesty, cleanliness, reliability and dedication to ensuring that the entire project was done properly. Gary also took the time to tell us about rebates and programs that we were qualified to receive. We would confidently recommend Northwood Heating and Air Conditioning because of the high level of their workmanship,product knowledge and superior service. They are committed to total customer satisfaction.

We recently bought a new gas stove and needed to install an outside gas line to make it work (our basement is finished, so outdoors was the best option). Our first experience with Northwood and we are very impressed... they accommodated our tight timelines, showed up on time, were pleasant to deal with, came in on budget and cleaned up when they were done. It was even cute to hear them laughing/joking while they worked... a clear sign of happy employees (which makes customers happy too!) The only "klufuffle" was my interaction with the he receptionist (hence a 9 out of 10)... unfortunately she was not the most responsive person and didn't provide us with a written estimate when requested (we had to call back to get this), one of her answers to my questions was "I don't know" instead of "I will look into and find out for you" and I still have an unanswered email for another question, so the communication/professionalism side can certainly improve on that end. But otherwise, I would definitely deal with Northwood again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends/family. Thanks guys for a fantastic job!

So far so good, had them in yesterday for a quote and Michael was good - seemed very knowledgeable and patient with all my questions. Next step will be to make sure there pricing is in the ball park. Update coming....

Our old furnace finally conked out, Michael gave us an estimate with a few choices (different furnace grades, filter media types) and suggestions (e.g. replace the rusted return duct - probably not the right terminology; check humidifier and only replace if needed). They were able to fit us in pretty quickly - great, since we had no heat. Santos and Mio were very polite and tidy, Santos explained the details to me after they were all done. Very happy with the results, and with the no pressure sales.

Estimate given over the phone. In line with Direct Energy only the anti micro-bacterial spray costs 50 dollars and is not included. The team checked my gas lines and found one uncapped, were polite and did a good job. Would recommend over direct energy any day.

Northwood....What a down to earth company ! I'm pretty sure his name was Michael.. He was so helpfull with everything that he felt like one of our own....No pressure...just logic information on everyting we asked him ! I hated being like a number at Direct Energy !! Now I can feal safe with my new contractor being on Holmes on Homes T.V. network....Michael ...thanks a million !!

Called Northwood Heating & A/C for a quote—new install requiring ductwork, furnace & A/C. Brian came out and explained every detail, what was going to be involved. Thinking to myself, this guy knows his stuff...experienced, personable & patient. We connected two more times before signing a contract. Brian also mentioned manufacturer and government rebates that were available. He hooked us up with a great mechanical designer that also performed our pre-EcoEnergy Audit. Brian went the extra mile to work within my budget, and he really came through, THE PRICE WAS RIGHT! The crew was great, Santos (a workhorse and very meticulous) lead the team, with George, John, Wayne, Art, Chris and Mio. What a nice bunch of guys, respectful in ever manner. If I brought up a question or concern, Santos would address it immediately. Even Brian helped out a number of days to make sure they were on schedule. I noticed Santos and Brian fed-off each other, that’s team work. A JOB WELL DONE! Lastly, I’d like to send a huge thank you to Gary, I only spoke to him a number of times over the phone, but I know he played an integral role on this project. And Josie, your help with rebates and billing...was very much appreciated. If it were an email or telephone call it was addressed quickly. Give them a call, you'll be glad you did... NORTHWOOD ROCKS!

Michael was very nice by the phone and the team who came to my house was very good as well. They worked the whole day on my furnace and cleaned every single duct. I highly recomend this company.
