Steve's service can't be beat! I had a few issues with my garage door this morning (seized with snapped cable), by 11:30 am it was better than new! I highly recommend his services.

On a cold Saturday night after dinner, my family returned home and tried to open the garage door. The garage door went up half way before stopping... so we lowered it again and tried to re-open it, but this time the door didn't even go up halfway. After manually lifting the door open, I found Open Sesame on Homestars, and thankfully I was able to reach Steve directly on a Saturday night! Steve was so experienced and knowledgeable, that he was able to accurately identify the problem over the phone in minutes, instantly quoted me a fixed price including parts and labour, and we set a time for Sunday immediately! There was no haggling over weekend rates, emergency rates, his availability, no third-person appointment-taker... What a quick and easy deal! Again, Steve was so experienced that he was able to give me a firm time-frame for the repairs (just 45 minutes), and when the job was done, he also showed me all the broken parts in the motor as confirmation. Throughout the entire process, Steve was very courteous and polite, clear in his explanations, and had the utmost respect for my convenience and time. I would recommend Steve to anyone - thank you for your help!

I called this company in January 2013 after the openers for both of our automatic garage doors stopped working. Steve talked me through the problems on the phone, enabling me to fix one of the doors myself. He diagnosed a broken sensor on the other door. A few days later, I made an appointment for him to replace the broken sensor. He arrived at the scheduled time, replaced the sensor, tuned up both doors and also replaced a broken bulb socket, all for the price he originally quoted me over the phone for the broken sensor. He was exceptionally capable, personable and took real pride in the quality of his work. I would highly recommend him and I will definitely use this company again.

EXCELLENT customer service. They arrived on time, and were friendly and reasonable. They diagnosed the problem correctly right away. It was really refreshing to deal with true professionals who know their stuff and who are also good human beings! Would highly recommend this company.

Steve and his partner did a great job replacing our three garage doors. Very honest person, high quality workmanship and clean up afterwards was spotless. Highly recommended for anyone needing garage door work.

Installed in Sep/2012 and am very pleased with the result. Really adds to the curb appeal. The contractor was honest and knew his stuff. Was ontime and very friendly. Cheaper then the other 3 companies i got quotes from. I would recommend him to anyone in the GTA.

My daughter installed a garage door on her carport. Many garage door suppliers were interviewed to give quotes and suggestions as it was a rather an odd project. "Open Sesame" solved the problem so expertly that we are still in awe of the beautiful door and the ever so expertly done installation, solving a mega problem like magic. In a bit of a rush I backed into my garage door before it was up. I tried another company first and they said the door needed to be replaced at a cost of $800. Open Sesame fixed it rather quickly for less than a tenth of that. It looks a bit crooked but they did the best they could given what the damage was.

A rep. from open sesame had assisted me, approximately a week or so after heavy snow fall in the GTA. I happened to notice the garage door would make loud grumbling noises and wouldn't open by the fact that it get stuck halfway. Steve was the man who was behind all this, and was able to assist us and diagnose out problem. They were punctual, efficient, and finished the job in the promised time frame. I was very pleased and would love to thanks them with a 10 star rating on homestars :)
