We totally recommend Steve. He is prompt, honest, personable and his prices are the best. He is attentive to detail and he goes above and beyond. He even went to the store, bought paint, painted the trim around the two garage doors and left us the paint!

Mike talked me through fixing this myself. It was a simple fix, just re-engaging the auto opener from manual by pulling on the manual cord. He easily could have come out and charged me for this, but instead he saved me between $40 - $60. What a guy!!!

I made an emergency call to Steve, who asked me to describe the problem while in the garage. This enabled him to make a diagnosis and give a cost estimate. He arrived within a couple hours as promised. The damaged coil springs were replaced with better ones, but his service didn't stop there. He made certain that the whole unit worked well by making adjustments and lubricating all moving parts. He then disassembled the garage opener to check for wear or damage. A part was warped, which he replaced at no charge. Once he had finished his work, the whole garage mechanism worked smoother and quieter than I had ever experienced! Not only were they friendly, but they were very knowledgeable and took the time to do the job right. And on top of that Steve honoured his quote while doing the extras without charge. Excellent work and exceptional service. I will always use them and will highly recommend them to all of my family and friends.

I contacted Steve in the morning and he was able to find an appointment same day. If you need a garage door fix, he is the man to call. He and Randy replaced the spring in no time, tweaked the door, replaced loose hinges, installed safety devices and gave me tips for ongoing maintenance. Excellent service. Thank you.

Its hard to give anything less than a stellar review to a guy who helps you diagnose the problem over the phone.. Who then quotes the price for the job over the phone.. Comes in right on time and fixes the problem, does additional maintenance, and comes in right on quote... All that over the weekend. Steve from Open Sesame Inc. is a consummate professional, his experience allowed him to diagnose my problem through the layman gibberish I spewed over the phone. Came promptly with the parts necessary and explained the process and the fix. He went above his mandate in providing additional maintenance to the opener.

Many thanks to Open Sesame for their promptness, good advice and work. We called when our garage door opener went on the fritz in Dec/12. We were told that the opener could be restored to as good as new or we could opt for a new one. The owner examined our garage door opener and recommended repairing it because he felt it was a very strong unit just experiencing normal wear and tear. I hesitated but agreed after being lured in by savings and his expert opinion. I am glad I listened to the expert. The door works perfectly. No need to throw things out when they can be repaired and still provide a lot of useful life. I would recommend using this service to anyone.

Garage opener stopped working. Quick response (they made appt and came in less than 24hrs), kept me informed, quick turnaround, and very polite. And more than reasonable cost. I recommend without hesitation.

Amazing service. Steve is very professional and polite. He came out a half an hour after I called. He fixed the broken spring and spruced up the hinges free of charge. Excellent!

Steve helped troubleshoot by phone the garage opener to save me money. It turned out to be more involved since my discontinued opener also needed a replacement capacitor since motor had seized. Steve came by at the scheduled time and fixed the opener - again did not try to steer me to a new garage opener. Very professional and honest - JY
