    Stacked Washer Repair

    I called two different repair services that did not service the downtown core. I was given Peter's name by one of those companies. Peter immediately returned my call and when he found out we were in a bit of a rush for the repair, went out of his way to get the part and fixed it the next day. Communication was great and the repair was done. So far so good and no complaints! Thanks Peter.

    Repaired our gas stove

    The service technician was on time, polite and knew what he was doing. He repaired the stove very quickly without having to book a return visit. He asked a lot of questions before coming to the house so he could narrow things down and bring the parts that were most likely needed.

    Dishwasher Maytag Quiet Series and Jennair Stovetop

    Our dishwasher of unknown age was not rinsing properly. Peter arrived on time, diagnosed the problem and a couple of other issues and gave us a quote to decide whether or not to go ahead with repairs. We opted for repairs and the parts were ordered, arrived in a timely way and the repair work was done within a week. He gave me a chance to wash out the filter while he was doing the repairs so I really appreciated this! It is easy to communicate with them via email or phone. I also asked for a quote of a cutlery basket which he quickly obtained. Personable, put a blanket on the tile floor to protect it, cleaned up after. The Jennair stovetop right side unit was not working but after some initial testing, he identfied only one burner was not working and so this was cheaper repair than expected. He was happy to test each burner on his voltage tester to ensure each was working properly.

    Dryer repair

    Had issues with my dryer, called Pambis and the next day they sent out a technician. Setting up and scheduling the appointment was easy. Service was excellent, the technician had all the required parts and my dryer is back working better than before.

    Refrigerator Repsir

    Superb service. Phoned the company after discovering our fridge was not working. Spoke with Chris who willingly suggested some simple troubleshooting steps to see if I could fix it on my own!! Turned out I couldn't (no fault of Chris) so we scheduled an appointment with Peter. He turned up on time and he immediately diagnosed what was wrong. In quick order the fridge was up and running. Price was fair, customer service was top notch and the work professionally done (drop cloths, full explanation what was wrong and most importantly no attempt to gouge the customer). Very impressed and would use Pambis again in a heart beat. Highly recommended and nice guys.

    Whirlpool Washer wouldn't drain

    Peter was super professional. Called me back within minutes. After telling him the problem he told me that it was a very simple fix. He said it was something we coulddo ourselves to avoid having incur needless service costs. What service person does that!?!?! Looking to save a customer money!

    refrigerator freezing over

    Once again,HomeStars delivered! Peter Pambis is a very knowledgeable, pleasant, and helpful appliance service man.He kept me informed as to when he would arrive at my home and did not look for ways for me to spend more money! I would use him anytime in the future.. Gita Rotenberg

    Washer Service Call - became installation of new washer and dryer

    Completely impressed with Peter. I called him a few months ago when our washing machine started to make a horrible clunking noise during the spin cycle. All communication was prompt and clear. Peter showed up for our appointment on time and quickly identified the problem. He said that it could be fixed, but once out of our tight basement space, etc that replacing it would be more cost effective. There was no pressure from him at all and that initial call was less than $100. A couple of months and a lot of thinking later, I called Peter again. We had picked out a new washer/dryer set from their website for purchase. I do my research on any large purchases and the Pambis price was better than what I could find anywhere else - even on sale. Peter came to my house, disconnected and arranged for disposal of the old set, delivery of the new set and installation the following week. He's just left my home following the installation of the new machines and I've already recommended him to a friend. Peter is constantly in touch, trustworthy and made everything super easy. Hopefully, I won't need to call them again, but if I need appliance service in the future, I'll definitely give Peter a call.

    Washing Machine Repair

    Highly recommended - Very responsive to our initial query, emailed back within an hour. Pete was very friendly, understood the issue very quickly and repaired our washing machine with minimum fuss. Would recommend to anyone experiencing appliance issues. Thanks again!

    Dishwasher & Dryer

    We have required the services of Pambis Appliances on two occasions - one for a dryer and the other a dishwasher. We have been very pleased with the quality of the service provided by Peter and would not hesitate to recommend him and his company to anyone who may require his expertise.
