    New Roof

    Penfold's does things the old fashioned way, they make an appointment they show up on time, they listen to the customer and they work with the customer to minimize disruption while providing a superlative cost effective service. From the first sales call with Michael for the estimate through to the final handshake with Sean the on site foreman completing the job everything was focused on quality and customer service. We had a number of other quotes from small companies to another very large one in the Delta area some higher some lower but I feel with the outcome we achieved and the minimal disruption to get there Penfold's was clearly the BEST. Michael's attention to detail, knowledge of the market and it's products made selecting the correct solution for our home very simple. From the first handshake with Sean the foreman arriving to start the job right through to completion the work ethic from him and his team is something that others should strive to deliver. Given our experience, I WOULD NOT use ANYONE else for a roof project other than Penfold's.

    New roof

    We were extremely pleased with Penfolds. We had several estimates, some from companies without the well known reputation of Penfolds, and were most impressed with the Penfolds quality and price. The team was large and they worked very hard every day, completing the work in a timely manner. They were also quiet, no shouting or music, and respectful of our yard and gardens. Michael was our main contact/estimator. He was very thorough with the project description and responsive during the work. The entire team, from the booking staff to the delivery truck to the installation team were great. We are really pleased with the final outcome and would definitely recommend them to our friends and neighbours.

    roof replacement

    Selected Penfolds primarily on reputation. Completely satisfied with the quality, workmanship, and professionalism of all the staff I came in contact with. Michael S. explained the project clearly, and made my final decision to go with Penfolds easy. Project came in within budget and on time, except for delays from weather conditions. Even though I may have paid a little more that I could have, I am sure I have avoided the horror stories I have heard from friends about shoddy workmanship and lack of resolution of issues they encountered.

    Re-Roof

    I’d like to follow up once again to say thank you so much to your crew. Each and every day they cleaned up after themselves, to the point that we had no idea a big project was in the works. The crew worked late every day (even on the rainy Monday) to make sure that they finished on time and the fact that they finished installing and cleaning up by Thursday afternoon was incredible. I had so many emails from members of our complex who commended Penfolds and its’ friendly crew for a job well done. Nobody could believe just how quick and painless the process was – well for us at least ! So thank you again, we appreciated the seamless and simple way in which Penfolds came in and completed this job so quickly and professionally. We’re certainly very glad that we did choose Penfolds to do this job for us.

    Metal Roof Project

    I would strongly recommend Penfolds. Jose, the project manager, and the Stuart, a highly qualified metalsmith and his crew worked very hard to achieve an impressive result on our new steel roof. Stuart, in particular, was very aware of the importance of the aesthetic importance of this roof, as it is very visible from the curb. The team also made the effort to coordinate with my plumber who was putting in new high efficiency venting through the roof. As the roof was installed in the fall, the crew faced some challenging weather including rain, ice and snow. They saw the project through, but always mindful of safety and tarping exposed roof. The office and management where also available for any questions. Thank again Penfolds!

    Reroofing my House

    Had nothing but problems with the roofing job the previous Co. did, was constantly leaking & they could not fix it. Had Penfolds come out to quote me & had them do the job.From what I can see they did an exceptional job, did so much more than the previous Co. I cannot see this roof leaking at all.

    Re-roof

    10/10 We were very pleased with the fast response time for the assessment and quote. The workers were efficient and there was no mess left on our property. The roof looks great and most importantly we have peace of mind.

    Re-Roof

    I would just like to say how completely satisfied we have been with Penfold’s and our new roof. The service has been excellent right from the very first phone call to talk to someone, to someone coming to do the estimate and to finally getting the work done. Last fall, we discovered we had a leak in our roof with water coming in above one of the en suite bathroom windows. Someone (from another company) did some “repair” which lasted until the next rain and then we were getting water in again. By that time, we had decided to contract with Penfold’s and they had someone out who repaired the leak until we got the roof fully replaced at the end of March. The repair was totally successful and we knew we were in good hands. When the crew came to do the roof in March, they were very polite, quiet, very hard-working and cleaned up fully at the end of each day. I thought they would be there for most of a week but actually took only 3 (long) days to get the job done. I was very impressed with them and by the fact that a supervisor was around each day to check on them, to see if they needed more supplies, etc. My other comment relates more to Sean and his part in this process. I felt as though I was treated very respectfully by Sean through the whole process. He answered any questions I had, responded quickly to emails, etc. and explained the whole process very well including things that needed to be updated to due code changes such as vents. I am more than happy to recommend Penfold’s to anyone who needs a new roof and who wants to be treated well throughout the whole process. It was a very positive experience for me. Many thanks!     Re-Roof (cedar shake to metal)

    We originally contacted Penfold’s to repair the flashing around our chimney, which was leaking. They were the third company we interviewed, and we were immediately impressed with their knowledge and professionalism. We hired them that day, and the work was completed promptly and to our satisfaction. Eight months later a new problem arose, and we contacted Penfold’s again. We decided that it was time to replace our cedar shake roof, and, unfortunately the flashing around the chimney would need to be changed to accommodate the new metal roofing material. Penfold’s credited us the cost of the chimney work so we didn’t have to pay twice, and we knew we were dealing with a reputable company who puts customers first. The roof was replaced exactly as outlined in our quote and contract; there were no surprises. The workers arrived on time every day and were polite and friendly. The site was kept clean and any concerns we had along the way were addressed immediately. Sean and Ron were always available to us, and they checked in often over the two weeks they were on site. The size and scope of the project was quite large, but the work was well coordinated and efficiently executed. We couldn’t have asked for more. I can confidently recommend Penfold’s roofing, and would not hesitate to contact them again in the future. Thank you, all, for a job well done.     Re-Roof

    What I wanted to let you know was how impressed I was with your service - you quickly and effectively solved my leakage problem. He showed up on time, was very pleasant, did his job and I haven’t had a problem since! Wish all service functioned the way yours does.
