    Re-Roof

    Knowing very little about having a new roof installed, I appreciate the time and patience Penfolds Roofing took to explain the options available, even down to helping me choose the most attractive shingle colour. The job was professionally done by friendly, respectfully roofers, and the completed roof met all of my expectations. The stressful experience of having a roof replaced was made as straight-forward and pleasant as it could possibly be. I am happy to recommend Penfolds Roofing to any perspective clients.

    Re-Roof

    We used Penfold’s to install a new roof in September of 2014. We had used a less expensive company in previous years to install a roof on a guest house and were not satisfied with the quality of workmanship. For our main house, we had decided to focus more on quality and service rather than just price. We dealt with Michael Schoeman who was very professional and was able to answer our numerous questions as to different types of roofing materials as well as the pros and cons of the various options. He also provided an extensive listing of addresses for us to view their work. Based on doing our research and obtaining other quotes, we selected Penfolds who were not the cheapest quote. We were very satisfied with Penfolds from our initial dealings with Michael all the way to keeping us informed of the timing through to the roof installation and follow up. The installation crew was professional and we are very satisfied with the quality of the product. In addition the installation crew was careful in the cleanup process and ensuring our backyard pool was protected during the work. I would rate Penfolds as a 10 out of 10 for quality and service.

    Remove 3 layers of roof reinstall,gutters .

    In the spring of 2009 our circa “ 1910” home needed a new roof. We started to look around for companies to do the job and Penfolds Roofing quickly rose to the top of our list . Emails were exchanged , estimates completed and the work began. We have a very steep roof and it had multiple layers of asphalt and wood shingles on it. The neighbor to the North was concerned that debris would damage her garden. The crew worked extremely hard for almost two weeks to remove the old roof debris and reinstall the new roof. They were very professional and minimized the amount of noise and impact on our lives . There were a few minor issues along the way that were dealt with by the supervisor in a prompt and professional way. One call back was needed to address an issue on a flat roof portion and that was also quick and professional. This was probably the best outcome we could have asked for and I have no doubt that the warranty will be a selling feature when it comes to list our house for sale. PS I looked long and hard after the crew left and NEVER found a single nail or piece of debris. My neighbour was also very pleased with the results. 5 star experience... David Lancelot

    Re-Roof

    I would like to take this opportunity to thank your team for the excellent roofing job done on my house in November 2014. November in Vancouver is not the best time to replace a roof, however when waiting is not an option your PENFOLDS team did an amazing job. With the condition of our roof in such bad shape, putting a temporary tarp down while the supplies were ordered was a nice touch. When a nasty wind storm blew through while I was at work, I received a panic call from my wife saying that the tarp was loose and flapping in the wind. One call to Michael was all that was needed, “I will take care of it”. The next call was from a calmer wife, saying the tarp was back in place. When the crews showed up to do the work they were very respectful, and the jobsite, (my home) was left clean at the end of each day. Thanks again Michael and the rest of the PENFOLDS team.     Re-Roof

    I was especially impressed with the application crew, they were just awesome, did a great job and a few small extras that I didn't think about that they did plus the cleaning of the lawn after the job was great. All I can say was a great job well done-THANKS

    New Roof

    We were very happy with the overall experience from start to finish. Sean C. was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products, and he didn't try to sell us a roofing product that wasn't warranted. The crew was prompt and professional, getting the job done earlier than scheduled.

    Roofing

    I used Penfolds in the past when after a bad wind storm had cracked both of my skylights, they came out right a way and in the wind and the rain, covered both skylights with tarps, when the tarps came loose after more wind they came out again and recovered the skylights. When it came time to replace my roof, I went with Penfolds due to past service I had received. The roofing crew were efficient and very professional. They answer any questions I had and informed me of any problems that occurred. The crew did a through job of replacing my roof and cleaning up. I would recommend Penfolds to any of my family and friends.

    Re-Roof

    Out of the roofing companies I contacted, Michael from Penfolds was by far the most professional and easy to work with. Michael was extremely approachable, knowledgeable, informative, and the only person out of all of the roofing companies that mentioned requirements for our specific roof in our region. Michael made it easy to be able to make a decision about what type of roof I wanted to go with by giving me an overview of numerous options and possibilities and not just one product. Communication was excellent, and extremely easy with both Michael and the Penfolds team. The job was performed as per the quote/outlined contract and questions were answered without hesitation. When it comes to the actual roofing process, Joey and his team were superb. They worked like busy bees, were polite, and ensured everything was safe each time they left so that I did not have to worry about our dog using the yard. Our old cedar roof was replaced by EcoRoof Rubber Shakes in a very speedy way under cold and at times miserable conditions. Joey ensured our house was always safe and even came back on his day off to make sure we had no leaks after it had rained overnight. All team members were devoted to get the job done and even built a tent on our roof when it started to rain so they could continue the replacement…to me that is dedication to get the job done for the customer. All materials were new and all work was checked throughout the replacement process. The end product of the roof and our built-in gutters is beyond our expectations. I highly recommend Michael, Joey and his team, and Penfolds as a company.

    Re-Roof

    We knew eventually that we would need a new roof and after having all our neighbours getting a new roof we felt a bit of peer pressure. We talked with our neighbours and even had recommendations of roofing contractors. We had at least 5 estimates plus 3 contractors that looked at our roof and refused to do it because of the steepness. Our 6th estimate was from Penfolds. We emailed them and received a reply back really quickly. Sean C came to our house, did the measurements personally and conducted himself very professionally. This was a refreshing change from other contractors who either gave an estimate over the phone or via email. Our neighbours told us that Penfolds would be too expensive. In reality they were not. The estimate was middle of the pack but was for the Eco roof so was a very good value. The installation crew was just awesome. They were friendly, worked hard and did a pretty good job at the end of the day making sure it was safe to walk around outside of our house. The job was completed on time and for the exact cost of the estimate. The only issue was at the end of the job when the crew left some roof jacks and some equipment. A quick call to Sean C and the equipment and roof jacks were removed the next day. The roof looks awesome and we are extremely happy with the install, the look and the value that it has added to our house. I would strongly recommend Penfolds Roofing.

    Metal roof

    Last July I was very selective in picking out a new roofer as the year before I had two shed roofs done. Their unprofessional conduct and absenteeism left me at an Ah. So after much scouting around I was recommended to Penfolds. I was skeptical and had many "do not" dos, on my list. From the Moment the team on Penfolds arrived they followed every instruction I requested. They were very very courteous, and were to the point on the project. They left my new driveway and lawn the way they found it. The workmanship on the metal roof was excellent. I know that as I watched closely. They had a cubby hole to work on, and to my amazement did an excellent job in that little space, keeping it sealed from the weather. I appreciated the closeness in telling me on what they were doing. An inspector kept showing up, as well as workman compensation. The whole team's workmanship and ethics were more then I expected. And they did it in the time they allotted. I have recommended them to others already. For a woman hiring roofers, I did well in my choice. I feel very comfortable with my new metal roof and all the great service.
