We hired Miro to do a complete rip and replace of our backyard and our high deck. They were fabulous! Miro spent a lot of time with me upfront creating different designs for what we had envisioned. He offered great suggestions which we ended up landing on. The crew that did the backyard and the new stone interlocking with a river rock bed and stairs going to the ravine was absolutely wonderful - Led by Chris. For three weeks they worked hard and completely cleaned up after the job was done. As for the 20 x 10 ft high deck That too was very well done. We ran into a few hiccups regarding the deck but nothing that couldn’t been overcome (ie permit and sizing issues, slight railing issue that Steve promptly came back to fix and the cleanup throughout could’ve been a bit better). We are looking forward to hiring Miro again to finish up the cladding for the posts and enjoying this summer in our new backyard and deck!

Not only have I received continuous compliments, I have enjoyed 8 years with it , and it looks just as good as the day it was built! After many hours of product research, we decided to replace our existing pressure treated deck with Azek decking. We met with a number of companies and made the decision to go with Royal Decks. Miro provided a detailed concept drawing as well a recommendations that would enhance the overall appearance of our new deck. Even with early spring weather challenges, our deck was completed on schedule and the deck is beautiful. A special thanks to Steve and the crew who transformed our backyard into our new haven. I found Royal Deck through an internet search for deck companies who had experience with second floor decks. My desire was for a 21 ft by 14 ft raised deck where I would have a separate railing company install an aluminum and glass railing and privacy screen. After looking at a couple of decks references provided by Miro, and after speaking with the deck owners, it was obvious to me that I had found the right deck company for my work. Miro is great to work with and very accommodating. Miro, Steve and their crew did a fantastic job on the deck. It is built to last and is really beautiful. I get many compliments from guests. Miro arrived in time for consultation, recommended a PVC deck. This was followed by a written quote stating when the work will start and when to expect a completion time. The price seemed high, with a few adjustment made to meet my budget, I gave the go-ahead. Steve, the project manager and his team of two produced a great job. They were professional and always more than ready to explain what they were doing and why. I am very pleased with the product and would recommend them. Thank you!

Most contractors I have encountered don’t make the cut for a review. When I do write, it’s with fairness, warts and all. The deck was handsomely built and it is a pride and joy just to look at it. The only glitch was that the exterior odd bits and pieces of the triple timber on the first landing and the lower two-inch section of the stairs not covered/dressed in Azek, the material for the rest of the deck. I had to hustle for it but it was quickly resolved with Steve, a.k.a. The Whip. He’s an affable guy and it was always a pleasure to have some light bantering with him before he flies off to some corner of the GTA for his next task. The backbone crew of Ronnie and Mike was delightful. They were polite, well mannered, respectful of my private space and importantly, very engaged when I needed something explained. I spent some time watching them work and it’s like watching a HGTV show in my own backyard and they didn’t mind my presence. There was a two week delay on the railings but we have to be mindful that it’s the summer high season. Overall, it’s excellent work by Royal Decks and the municipal inspection passed with flying colors. Thank you. Ashley Fong

We are very pleased with our new PVC deck. Miro was very helpful in helping us choose the right decking that would fit our needs and budget. David and Russ who installed our new deck were professional and a pleasure to work with. We had a positive experience with Royal Decks and would recommend them for decking projects.

This is the second time we used Royal Decks. They built an awesome deck for us a few years back and we decided to use them again. This one was quite a bit larger and we needed to have some privacy on either side from neighbours for our tenants. Miro and his team took about ten days or so removing the old deck, installing the footings and building a new deck. It is an absolute masterpiece and we get compliments every single day. The tenants are just over the moon with their new outdoor space. Highly, highly recommend Royal Decks.

Miro was very professional and helpful in preparing the original plans and specifications. Likewise the team of Dave and Russell who built the deck was absolutely top notch.
