My apartment developed bed bugs a few months back. I have no idea where they came from and they were only in my unit. Despite even the exterminator telling me that it can happen to anyone, and it was not my fault at all, I was HUMILIATED. After the extermination, I was advised to buy mattress and box spring covers that were specifically bed-bug "proof" so that they couldn't chew through them. The exterminator specifically recommended Sleep Country because they had the "best" ones. When in the store, I double checked with the associates that the covers I was buying were bed-bug proof. I am a student, and $200 is a LOT to me. Not even two months later, I found bed bugs ON THE COVERS. I even saw one crawl THROUGH one of the covers. Obviously one of the covers was defective. I called the store I had bought the cover from (I wasn't about to bring it in and infect the store). This itself was humiliating because I had to admit to someone I had bed bugs. They sent me off to some customer service hotline, where I spoke to an associate who could barely understand me because of her lack of English. The associate then fought with me, saying that I must have ripped the cover or that the exterminator did not do a good job. She also told me that I can't blame Sleep Country for giving me bed bugs. Well, the only reason that they came back is because they ate through the supposedly bed bug-proof cover (this is verified by the exterminator)!! After repeating myself for a good half hour, she finally realized that there was no holes in the cover, and that I saw a bug crawl through the cover. She sent me off to the manufacturer, who said they needed a copy of the receipt. Sleep country took all of my information, and told me I did not need to keep my receipt. However, when I called back asking for a copy, they refused to give me one. Now I have to get my apartment exterminated again (which, if you don't know, is a lot of work for the home owner and takes a good week of preparation) and buy myself new mattress covers. Needless to say, I'm not purchasing them from Sleep Country.

I went in and right away a sales person came up to me and asked if i needed help. I told him what i was looking for and mentioned to him that my dad (whom i am buying the mattress for) has bad back. I also told him that couple years ago we bought a mattress from him and that the mattress was too high being on top of a box spring. He quickly directed us and recommended mattress. the price tag of the mattress costed around $1500. I negotiated and he was very kind enough to reduce the price to $1200 and on top of that gave us 2 free pillows and a sheep. Sleep Country is awesome. He also offered free delivery because he knows this is not our first time there. I have to say the sales people are very on top of things

I bought a bed from sleep country Canada the store on West broadway Vancouver. When I first went into the store, Eric was really nice and asked a lot of questions to understand what I was looking for. He was able to provide me with a bed that was comfortable and prefect for me.

We purchased a new TempurPedic mattress at the Home & Garden show. Dealing with Lisa (who was in from Montreal) was a pleasure. She knew her stuff and was very professional. Can't wait to start sleeping on the new mattress!!

Bought two beds from SCC last year. Both developed bed bugs in the box springs. These were supposed to be brand-new, and we don't have bed bugs in my building. I WOULD NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM SLEEP COUNTRY AGAIN!

Went to purchase a new bed for my daughter. Salesperson very knowledgeable and let her try all the beds. We were there for over an hour. Gave us a great deal on the bed and a better deal on a special (and very expensive pillow). I saw a (discontinued, floor model) headboard I was interested in, but a different size. None available in Ottawa, so he searched the database and found one in Toronto. Even though it was new, he gave me same price as floor model piece from store. Delivery went smoothly, as well. I would recommend Sleep Country to all looking to purchase bed - especially when they have a sale!

We have bought 4 beds at this Sleep Country location over the past few years. The staff have been very knowledgeable each time we have been in and they are very good at finding you the lowest price. We have been very pleased with each of the mattresses that we have purchased and love the fact that if we hadn't loved them, they have an excellent return policy. Great experience!

13 years ago I purchased an old house in Hintonburg and it was then I realized that the heating system was not very good. My neigbour dealt with The Fireplace Center and Patio Shop for her Gas Fireplace. I contacted them and within one day a salesperson paid a visit to my home. He walked around my house and asked me how long have I owned my house and when I told him that I had recently purchased the house, I was amazed at the feedback I received from him. No sales pitch, no pressure to purchase, he was like a friend who was giving me advice. He did tell me to wait a bit longer on the decision I was trying to make regarding my gas fireplace which I did and he was correct on his advice and in a few months I received a telephone call from him asking me how I was and to telephone him in the future. I will always deal with this company and I highly recommend them for Gas Fireplaces.

this program is disgusting it does nothing but spead disease and bed bugs. i received a bed from this program it was so dirty hair matted in it at least 20 holes in the mattress and it was so used the lettering on the label was worn right off it was horrible. this program need to be stopped STOPPED NOW TODAY

My husband and I were looking for a new mattress after 18 years of using his bachelor mattress. We visited sleep country multiple times and were each time greeted and serviced properly. Salesperson was very patient and let us try many beds. We love our new bed and look forward to sleeping in it every night.
