After what I thought was purchasing products from a top retailer, I was extremely disappointed in the follow up service. They dropped off the Washer/Dryer in my living room vs. installing it in the laundry room as paid; and now want to charge extra $$ for moving it. Additionally, the sales person did not fully explain what was needed for the install process which led to significant delays. The WORST customer service I have ever received after spending so much -an truly awful experience! I would strongly recommended another retailer for Wolf/Subzero/Miele.Answer from pro:

We have bought multiple appliances from Tasco they promised the moon. Our two lichen aide appliances had major problems from the start they wouldn't repair even though we had extended warranty. Our range we tried to buy it was a thousand dollars more expensive then anywhere else and they tried to brush us off so we were out of cancel time frame. Very shady practices. I would Never buy here again and I will make sure it's known our experienceAnswer from pro:

DO NOT BUY FROM TASCO OR GOEMANS which apparently is one company they merged but keeping it hush hush. I bought 3000.00 worth of kitchen appliances and the whole experience was a nightmare. First I could never get anyone to pick up the phone in the shipping department and finally spoke to a woman named Vicky who was extremely rude. Then once the appliances got to the house the fridge was damaged and the driver seemed very annoyed that he had to come back. I also heard him say it was probably an older one with "ship as new". When I asked him what he meant he had no choice but to explain. He said that sometimes Tasco will have a damaged product come back from another customer's home, fix it and send it out to another customer making believe its a new product in box. I will not shop there again and when the other fridge was brought to me, I thoroughly inspected it to make sure no scratches, dents were present and it couldn't be a used fridge.Answer from pro:

We purchased all of appliances at Tasco in Pickering in 2013 and our in-store experience was fantastic and the price was comparable to other retailers. Our issue is with the extended warranty program. When you need a repair, there are so many companies involved and it seems like none of them communicate to each other including the technicians. Our dishwasher has been in a state of disrepair for over two months now and continues remain unrepaired despite 3 visits (now parts are on order, so there will be at least 1 more visit). I have spent countless hours on the phone with these companies (tasco, comerco and trans global services) and once they assign a technician, who contacts you and attempts to unilaterally schedule an appointment at different time than what was scheduled through one of the aforementioned companies. Despite our in store experience, I would never buy another appliance from Tasco due to the low level of service received from their extended warranty companies. I am not sure if Tasco is even aware of the low level service that these companies are providing.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

While the prices on the products was good the service is very poor. I told the delivery that I would not be on site and would pay by credit card. They said no problem, taken care of. Next day they brought everything and asked for me to be on site in 2 minutes which I explained the day before was impossible. My contractor was there to receive but they would not deliver. Then when trying to get them to re-deliver my stove (they damaged it when returning it to their warehouse) they said they had to get another one. I heard nothing for 2 weeks. I had to follow up with them (10am) and they acted like it was not their problem. Said they would call back in a couple hours to let us know the status. 5 pm we had to call again since no call and were rudely told "if I had an answer, I would have called you, wouldn't I??". The sales person, Steve, went on to be incredibly rude and was shouting at me and my wife about how we will get our stove when it's ready. I actually had to ask him to calm down - which he did not. The best part is they charged me for a re-delivery charge which they had ASSURED me they would not do. Now I am going through their customer Service merry-go-round which takes a week for them to call back (they don't answer the phone), if you get a call at all. Bottom Line: I would gladly pay higher prices to not have to deal with these people. Nightmare.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

STAY AWAY FROM THESE STORES.I had (and still have) absolutely horrible experience with Tasco. In December, when we were renewing our kitchen, we bought a Bloomberg dishwasher with a panel for $750 (plus tax, and delivery came down to $900). Short after it was delivered, we realized that the panel size is wrong. I called Tasco and told them that I need to exchange this dishwasher for a different one or return completely. And that’s where the nightmare started. The dishwasher is still in its original packaging and was not installed. We went to Tasco store where we bought it, where the sales person assured us that the dishwasher can be returned, no problem, but meanwhile why don’t you buy another dishwasher which is on sale. I REPEATEDLY asked the sales person if we would be able to return the other dishwasher to make sure I won’t get stuck with both. We bought the other dishwasher, as the sales person assured me that even if there would be any problems with their customer service, they’ll simply take our dishwasher and cell it in their store. None of which happened. I was calling the store repeatedly to return the dishwasher. The salesperson wrote me an email along the lines of why don’t you cell it on kijiji or craigslist and save yourself and us a headache. I was in shock from this response and called their customer service, who told me that they will take it back if we bring it ourselves (to Brampton from Toronto) and pay 50% restocking fee and that they will start paperwork on that. The original invoice (which they make you sign) says that the restocking fee of 20% MAY apply. Two months later, after a few reminders, they sent me some paperwork where according to their calculation I’ll be getting around $400 something back. Absurd. This still goes on. I have never had so many problems with a retail store. I don’t understand why can’t you return or exchange an item purchased a week ago in its original package and never used. STAY AWAY FROM THESE STORES.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

Best price worst service .. promised all 6 appliances within 10 days well 3 months later we just got our last item received damaged, it's been over a week still no call back apparently it's a manufacturer problem now .. when I call n argue the customer service girls get snotty with me like it's my fault. ..nothing was on time we had 3 different delivery dates .. so you can imagine how many arguments I had .I paid $8000 cash upfront. Absolute worst place to deal with delivery guys charged my pregnant wife $40 to carry a washer literally down 4 steps n 5 feet away .... I feel sorry for anyone who buys from this place .. and I'm not even going to start about when I walked in the store and started a commotion. ...Answer from pro:

Purchase all of our appliances at Tasco for our new house. Price was competitive however service was not. We felt good choosing Tasco when we placed our order. The sales person we placed our order was very helpful and professional. He unfortunately went on sick leave and the service we received aftewards went downhill. We had to deal with different sales rep which were non responsive and couldn't care less of our purchase. We received the wrong sized hood and the beverage centre we ordered the door opened on the oposite side. Dealing with their customer service department is an experience on its own. I did come across one good sales rep at the mississauga location. He took the time to listen and went above and beyond to resolve my issue. If you need to go to Tasco (mississauga) ask for Nelson Chokshi. i'm sure he will take good care of you. I'm very disappointed with Tasco i expected to served by "appliance professionals".Answer from pro:

I bought a top-of-the-line washer dryer from Tasco and the purchase process was very pleasing. Steve was more than eager to complete the sale, and he promised I’d have my top-of-the-line w/d for life.. he was serious (ie. I’d have it for life whether I liked it or not). When I called Steve and told him that the dryer was awful, he back-tracked on his promise to ensure I’d be a happy customer (after I asked up front about the performance of what I bought) and he told me that Tasco would not stand behind me and that I was in the hands of Miele who, if I was to talk to very nicely, might help me out. In other words, Tasco didn’t back me up even though I bought from them. Miele, well, is another story… Bottom line: support, customer service, or trust, is not what Tasco is about. Buyer beware. Jan 21: in response to Tasco's comment - I'm not sure what you are going to look into..you've already told me there is nothing you can do for me..
