Very satisfied. Crew was very efficient and personable. Protected furniture etc very well. Disassembled dining table, two Sauder work desks etc. All done in time and as estimated. Made a long tiring day a little bit better. Very Pleased!!

This is the second time I have hired Tender Touch moving . The crew was extremely professional and my belongings were handled with care. Fred A. at Tender Touch handled the logistics of the move and was quick to respond to all of our requirements/needs. We are looking forward to the move to our new place in mid-May and are quite confident that it will go off smoothly. Packing and Loading went off without a hitch. So we have now moved to the Oakville area from Toronto and as always everything went like clockwork. This is now the 3rd time we have moved with Tender Touch, this time from storage and the same care and attention to detail was given to our belongings. Cant say enough about this company and their staff. Robert & Deborah Pelletier. We are presently in Florida and feel quite secure that our furniture is in good hands.

Several months ago I wrote a negative review of this company because of an incident moving my daughter's piano to Chicago, which was damaged in transit. I am happy to report that Tender Touch made good on covering the costs of repairing the damage, and I decided to give them one more chance. We moved from Riverdale to a condo further uptown. Tender Touch showed up on time, took great care in packing our stuff (even too good care, I can say. They wrapped some old birthday candles in several layers of newsprint!) Everything arrived in good shape. There was an issue at the delivery location because their truck was too big to go down into the garage. The driver worked something out with the condo's security, and - even though they had further to go to carry the boxes - they got everything into the condo on time. I am happy to upgrade my evaluation of Tender Touch and say that overall our experiences with this company were very good indeed.

I used the moving service in 2011 and was very good. Therefore, I am coming back again for the service. However, this time, the service is really bad. Movers do not care about my furniture. Even the mattress was put in a bag, they handle that carelessly and pull mattress on the ground (on the bag open side) and cause very dirt of my mattress. When place the mattress on the ground, they tried to move it by kicking. They do not use any floor run protection to protect my new hardwood floor. They hit my condo's wall and cause a big crack. overall, very very bad services this time and not satisfy at all. and won't recommend and won't do business with this company in the future.

I was moving for the first time in 17 years and being 17 years older decided this time to hire a professional moving company. I found Tender Touch Moving through an old Toronto Start article but decided that if they wrote about them, that they must be good. They weren't good, they were great. They gave me a quick quote since I had a quick close and was moving in 2 weeks. They sent a crew of 3 men who were all very pleasant and professional. They expertly wrapped everything that needed to be wrapped and loaded it into their truck. Unfortunately, there was a delay in my closing and I ended up having to rent a storage unit to store my belongings overnight. So, everything had to be unwrapped and packed carefully to cause as little damage as possible. The movers I had to hire the next day (unfortunately Tender Touch was not available) were very impressed on the packing job in the storage unit. I would hire Tender Touch Moving & Storage again any time.

We recently moved locally from Oakville to Hamilton using Tender Touch. The move itself went ok at best. The crew showed up 3 hours late which required the move to drag on into a second day. Once we started unpacking a few days later, we noticed that some clothes had just been thrown into the wardrobe boxes and some smelled like cigarette smoke. However, our main complaint is with their total lack of customer service in general. We were double charged for the packing of our kitchen, so that the final bill was considerably higher than their estimate for this service. I managed to get someone named Charlie on the phone once over 2 weeks ago who promised to resolve our issue. Since then I have tried many times to call and never anyone answers, no matter which voice mail option I try. The moving consultant never answers his cell or land line either and does not return phone calls or emails.

I have used Tender Touch about three to four times now and they have always done a good job. I find they work very quickly, yet they are very careful with your furniture, floors, and walls. I have recommended this company to tons of friends and co-workers and they also seem pleased with the work done!

Tender Touch is an excellent company and I have used them every time for the past ten years. They have always been exceptionally careful with my belongings as I have antiques. I highly recommend this company.

My recent experience with Tender Touch was quite different from others posted on this site. I would neither use their services again nor recommend them. My issues: 1. They showed up very late for the appointment...called and said they were stuck in traffic, 15 minutes from my home and then showed up 1.5 hours later...I believe they were running late due to an earlier move. Another individual who drove through the same area had no issues with traffic. 2. Paid for three movers...one decided he would use the opportunity to clean the truck...in 45 minutes, not so much as a pair of socks was moved. This same mover then was talking to a neighbour about a move...I should not be paying for this time. Another mover was texting, talking on the phone and smoking...again, something he could do while in the truck. I should not have to address issues such as this to a professional mover. 3. The moving specialist NEVER responds to phone calls...this is important if you are having issues on moving day...try to see if you can actually speak to a live person when calling...it doesn't matter which selection you choose, you are bumped into voice mail. Jessica needs to step up her level of service, especially to follow-up when, on the day of the move she received a phone call and email about the conduct of the movers. 4. There was a new mover on the team. It was embarrassing how the other two movers were talking to him...this is training at its worst and completely unconstructive. 5. My new home is a 45 minute drive...took them two full hours to get here...my ex-wife drove past them as they had run out of gas...again, why was I paying for such a stupid move. 6. Moved into the house and literally scuffed every wall...I had to put down paper as they walked into the house with muddy boots...this is unforgivable in a new house where the outside was such a field of mud they were concerned about parking in the driveway for fear of getting stuck. 7. Despite being clearly marked, many boxes and items were put in places they were not intended to go, resulting in my having to move boxes from the basement to the second floor, etc. 8. Do not sign a Visa, MC slip at the outset of the move. I have been informed by my bank that an extra $177 was added to the move. 9. The itemized quotation was not accurate, as they neglect to give estimates of insurance, supplies, etc. 10. There is a huge gap between their stated Mission statement and reality...they do not help to make the relocation experience "as fun, rewarding and stress-free as possible." Certainly, they did not provide exceptional service, their staff was not courteous and, based on my experience, their "impeccable reputation" is undeserved. I have moved approximately every two years for the last thirty years - local and national - and have never had such a poor experience.

Tender Touch did a very good job helping me move from my old house into the new one. I am quite satisfied with the company as they were both extremely careful with covering my floor by putting down matts and were very fast with the move. They did everything just perfectly as they organized all my furniture in the new house and put my personal belongings were I wanted them to be. Overall, I am very pleased with this company!
