We needed to have someone rip out our existing closet rods, do necessary repairs and repaint in preparation for our custom closet solutions that will be installed soon. Dan was extremely busy but managed to fit us in with short notice. He showed up right on time and did a very professional job and also cleaned up afterwards. We would definitely use Dan again. I hired The Handyman Dan to remove old baseboard and install new ones on the main floor of my condo. He was very careful in removing the old baseboard to ensure no damage was done to the walls. He was equally careful in installing the new baseboard, ensuring that mitred corners lined up and seams were virtually unnoticeable. And he left no mess behind for me to clean up. Dan did a quality job installing a bathroom fan for us including wiring. He fit us into his busy schedule. He was very clear in his communications up front on what would be involved, he arrived on time (even a bit early), and cleaned up at the end. The project was completed within his estimated budget even though he encountered a few complexities along the way due to surprises found behind the ceiling in our old house. He is a very knowledgeable and skilled handyman.

Though we did need to wait to get Dan out it was well worth it. He was through our list of odd jobs (plumbing issues, electrical issues, drywall repair) in half a day...including a trip for a special part! We've already started our next list!

Thank you Dan! You did a terrific, neat job on my exterior front stairs, rail and landing! Dan arrived even shortly ahead of time (a true rarity), had excellent solutions to troublesome existing features, worked quickly without wasting time and was well prepared for the job, with all the possible tools and equipment that could have been needed. Dan was also very pleasant to deal with, and his fee was fair and competitive. I will most definitely be calling upon Dan again for other smaller jobs that need doing around my house!

Dan took care of a variety of odd jobs (tile install/repair, window capping, plaster fixes, etc.) for us. Was very pleased that he managed to do it under the time he originally estimated and did us the favour of sourcing all the materials needed. Will definitely use Dan again in the future.

What a remarkable experience to find someone as knowledgeable as any contractor, incredibly efficient, fully equipped, organized, timely...Like my brother (if only he could repair things like Dan). In one day Handyman Dan addressed 20 things that needed doing from flashing to minor electrical, and even glued a chair and let me borrow the clamps till it dried!

Dan repaired our porch steps and railings and replaced some of the wood floor. While he did not give an estimate, per se, he estimated the time it would take and was right on. He is a true professional - polite, courteous, a craftsman extraordinary. He showed up when he said he would, worked throughout the day with few breaks. I feel very fortunate to have found him. The final product was just what I wanted and I would not hesitate to call Dan again for any job.

EXCELLENT, we were pleased with every aspect of Dan's work, service and attitude. We have used Dan several times in our home and our condo. He fixed everything perfectly! I would not hesitate to use Dan again and recommend him to my friends.
