We had accumulated a number of small repairs around our house over the last year or so. We contacted Dan Emter early in the summer, arranged a date, and provided him with a list of projects (about 20 items), everything from moving a fridge and a freezer to replacing torn windowscreens to installing a handrail and caulking our tubs. Dan was on time, friendly, efficient, he gave us advice on other projects and he completed all of the tasks given to him in good time. When he felt that it would be better for someone else to do the job he provided references. I would highly recommend him for any sort of around the house job.

Dan was great, he arrived on time worked so well, we would love to book him a day each month. Not only did he do the jobs we asked him to do but he came full of good ideas of how we could do it better and in one case cheaper. His work was good attention to detail, our house is old, 100 years old with not one straight line in it and he managed to install a window and door that looks like they have always been there. I had emailed Dan for above work, he reply back the next day and explained what needed to be done and book me in. Dan arrived on time very pleasent to deal with and started working right away and cleaned up after the job was done. His workman ship is fantastic, excellent job well done! Dan was on time and professional. Changed faucet and parged crumbling cement blocks in less time then quoted. Very Clean work, could not tell he was their. I will be calling him again when I have couple other projects to get taken care of.

We had 2 bathrooms tiled,vanities installed,light fixtures,kitchen counter top installed and Dan not only finished on time his quote was accurate,he was neat and very professional. We will use his services from now on. As most of you know who have had reno's done...there is always something else to be done .

Dan was punctual, courteous, gave great service and did a great job. Dan performed a wide variety of tasks for us including the laying of laminate tiles in our kitchen, painting, fixing our banister and swing set. He even drove out to the store to pick up the exact piece of wood that we needed for a new threshold. He then varnished it to achieve the perfect colour match. We would highly recommend Dan for any handyman-type jobs you might need.

First of all, Dan, the handyman of "The Handyman Dan" answered calls quickly, estimated his time well and and kept me apprised of when he would be arriving. His manner extremely pleasant. In addition, his diagnostic skills were excellent - he was willing to explain the problems and how he was intending to fix them, and then he fixed them on the first go round. And finally - he cleaned up after himself. I am almost afraid to recommend him as he is truly a gem and I would hate to have to wait forever.

I had a list of small jobs, including repairing waterdamage to my kitchen ceiling. Handyman Dan finished all the jobs I gave him in less time than he thought it would take and did all of them well. He is pleasant and great worker. I have recommended him to several of my friends already and will certainly use him in the future.

Dan helped get our house ready for sale. He customized a door for a powder room with an irregular entry, and did repairs throughout the house including a deck door that I had almost given up on. He was friendly, professional, creative, and worked independently. The quality of the work was excellent and I can't find enough good things to say about him.
