Nothing new to see here (move along). Just another boring excellent score for Nick and his company. We have had an ongoing problem with the kitchen drain (reoccurs every 3-4 years). Have had a number of plumbers service it; it is always cleared (once with messy results) but today's job included a couple of much appreciated ideas from Nick on how to keep it clear after an quick efficient cleanout. (My wife always uses a strainer and has always been careful about what goes in the sink). Oh, and the cost was exactly the same as a much junior plumber (highly rated on HomeStars) charged 3+ years ago for the sloppy fix. Best of 2020.

Nick came in and diagnosed the problem with a leaky shower quickly. He was professional, explained the steps as he went along, was a pleasure to deal with and consequently we would definitely recommend him.

Service was excellent. Nick knew exactly what needed to be done to complete the installation without any surprises. I liked his plan of action prior to start of the work. Quality of the work is superb. I would recommend Nick and his company for any water related job without a blink. Gods job Nick. Keep it up.

The job entailed the replacement of a saddle valve with a ball valve, and a quarter-inch plastic pipe with a copper equivalent. Nick arrived before the prearranged time, and clearly explained what the job would involve. He worked carefully, methodically and efficiently to complete the work. His expertise was evident, and he was personable as well.

We had a major leak under the kitchen sink which resulted in water seeping onto the ceiling below. We called Nick and he came over within 24 hours He quickly diagnosed the problem and completely redid the plumbing under the sink. Everything perfect! While he was at our home he replaced the outside water faucet. Excellent work in a timely fashion. It is good to see a company such as Van Horne Plumbing carry out small residential projects such as ours. Thanks so much Nick!

Nick replaced the Main lock off valve which is located in the ceiling in a hard to reach spot in my tiny laundry area, he also replaced 2 Hose Bibs and showed me how to operate the valve . Nick arrived on time, he advised me by text that he was on his way which I appreciated. He was very courteous, respectful and professional. His work was clean, tidy , professionally done and completed on time . His price was very reasonable and included material and labour and visit to my house I was very happy with his work and highly recommends Van Horne plumbing .

Nick was professional and on time and did a great job on fixing a problem with our toilet he didn't leave until he knew that the job was done right the first time and would recommend him to anyone.

Nick very clearly explained everything he did. From watching and listening to him it was obvious he takes pride in delivering a top quality job free of shortcuts and low quality materials; one that won't require a second follow-up visit. The work was done perfectly with no mess. I was looking for a new plumber because I did not want to call the cranky, sullen and near speechless plumber I tried previously (found via Home Stars, sadly). Nick is customer-oriented, friendly, easy to talk to, and the plumber I will call next time.

Nick reply to my email very fast, communicate well. Arrived on time which is very important. He was very polite with knowledgeable and detail work skills. Would definitely recommend him to family and friends or anyone who needs plumber.
