    Lawn Service

    My back lawn may have been nothing but weeds but at least it was green. Now it is nothing but dirt. At least I don't have to mow it. I guess it's time to put down new sod. Weed man did get rid of the weeds and everything else.

    Lawn service

    I don't usually write reviews but I felt I needed to share my experience. Weed man provided the worst service I have ever had. After I complained the first time they promised to give them another opportunity and if I wasn't satisfied they would refund my last service. Needless to say they continued to disappoint and refused to refund the last service. BEWARE of weed man. I would never use them again even if they were the only lawn service available.

    Lawn care

    Do not go or you will be at loss.They entered my lawn, sprayed fertilizer and extorted $65 from my credit card without even asking us. Its been 11/2 month and I still did not get my money. See this for Ottawa weed man : http://www.obj.ca/Opinion/The-Marketplace/2010-09-20/article-1776467/The-Better-Business-Bureau-and-my-battle-with-weeds/1. I complaining BBB.

    Weedman Service

    A technician came out and did 2 treatments this year and I was unaware that this was a continuous service from last year when I signed up. I only got a bill after the second treatment otherwise I would've cancelled immediately!!!I'm out$76.00 sneaky way of doing business. Never again will I recommend Weedman!

We always ensure that our customers are aware of our continuous service as it is described in every invoice we leave during the season and on the three invoices that we mail out for the upcoming season. On these invoices it is stated to contact our office by a certain date if you wish to modify or cancel your program. Over 84% of our customer prefers continuous service and for those who do not upon their request we remove them from that practice immediately for every.     Weed Man

    The services from the 11, Grand Marshall Drive in Scarborough lack proffesionalism and integrity, I continue to recieve a bill for services that were never rendered. When I called last spring to complain, they said they would send a Supervisor to my house to check on my lawn. That never happened yet they told me that someone had come while I was not home (how convenient!!). When I called to say I refuse to pay for services that were not rendered, they "blackmailed" me and said that they would waive the fee if I re-committed for one more season. I am in the process of escalating this matter and I would highly advise that you do not trust this company at all!

I have responded to our customers concerns and have offered To reduce the outstanding bill and to reapply the service again at no charge to ensure we meet or exceeded our customer expectations with their lawn care results.     Lawn Maintenance

    Hired Weed Man for 1 season lawn care and weed treatment, offered through their door-to-door offer of excelent customer service and guaranteed weed removal (they said they would come as many times as it takes to get rid of them). After the initial treatment ended up being very erratic and left some large areas of grass burned (had to replace the sod completely later), but at the same time skipping completely some large (40cm tall) and easy to treat weeds. Repeated treatment was useless and repeated calls to address the problem were always met with customer service and even manager's promises that they will take care of it to our satisfaction, but then repeatedly doing nothing. At that time I also caught the "continuous service" clause in their contract, which was never brought up by the sales person to me, even though I specifically asked for only 1 season of treatment. So, I canceled the contract formally (they sent a partial refund, though not matching the number of applications performed by them) and asked them to neever come back and to never call us again to offer services. Sadly, they kept calling after that many times. Very dissapointing quality of work and service overall.

    Weed Control

    “Unprofessional Business Management and CUSTOMER SERVICE” This is My Review on WEED MAN Lawn Services Located at 11 Grand Marshall Dr. Scarborough, ON. In the Summer of 2013 while I was away a representative from WEED MAN came to our door and managed to convince my wife how good they are and how fast they can get rid of the weeds in our lawn with 1-2 applications and give it a golf course look. Time passed by and we noticed no improvements in our lawn condition and in fact in some spot gone worst . I called WEED MAN and they said we should have more of this treatment and e more of that application for our lawn and trying to sell me some more services and record my voice on line to document my agreement for the cost of their services. I declined and send them pictures from my lawns condition and asked them they should fix the problem which they have already paid for after some more sales pitch they tried to make sale, I did not agree. Week later I received an invoice charging me for services I did not ordered. I call the office and ask them about the bill and she said someone will call me later, I received no call I send WEED MAN another Email asking them to stop sending anybody to my property and discontinue their services all together. To my surprise their invoices where kip coming for services I did not ordered. It is to my opinion WEED MAN has no concern’s for their customers and their satisfaction all they care about is how much they can do business without fulfilling their obligations. All in all I am not happy with WEED MAN business attitudes and customer services and for that I do not recommend WEED MAN to any of my friends, relatives’ or neighbours WEED MAN has no customer review section in their website. I contacted the WEED MAN office on February 12/2014 and asked the receptionist if they have a CUSTOMER REVIEW section on their web site? To my surprise her answer was negative and then I decided to write a review on my own and posted on the internet.

    It is disappointing to me also that you were unhappy with your first year services. It is very unfortunate that your lawn also experienced 2 different types of insect infestations from late June until mid-August. The lawn in both cases had experienced damage and thinning due to these insects allowing other plants like weeds to take over in those areas. We acknowledge there was a weed issues and we were determined to control most of them with reapplications at no charge. We also recommended that soil/seed was needed to help thicken the thinning areas to help choke out new weeds from coming up. Any and all services that were ordered were either written or recorded agreements by the home owner. I am truly sorry that you feel we were not concerned about you or your satisfaction with our services as this could not be any further from the truth. We applied a free insect control in July, extra weed controls at no charge and manager visits to diagnose any problems with your lawn to help advise you, our customer on what the lawn needs to be healthier. We provided services for the entire season and did not receive our first payment until 4 months after its completion which ended up placing your account and services on hold delaying many applications from being completed. I have already offered to reduce your extremely overdue account and remove all interest charges to remedy both of our concerns, from your last complaint you filed a week ago.     weed control

    Hired this company to get control of our weed problem. They sprayed and it was not effective. Sprayed a second time, very limited success. They quoted $57 for the spraying and then sent two bills one for spraying and one for fertilizing which was not ordered. They refuse eliminate this bill, and we refuse to pay for something that was not ordered. This company in our opinion is not very professional. The manager contacted me and resolved the situation to my satisfaction in a very professional manner.

    Fall Fertilization

    We agreed to Weedman's services for the summer. We said we did not want to continue past then. They came in the early Fall and fertilized my neighbour's lawn instead. Now they won't take the charge off my bill! And Brian, employee #10 is horrible customer service rep. I will take you to court and the media before I pay.

    I am sorry that you feel that Brian did not provide you with the proper service when you last spoke and I have discussed this concern with him. After looking into your account it shows a signed contract for 2 fertilizers and 2 weed controls, also it states that you would receive a free mid summer inspection and unlimited reapplications if required. All services were completed on your property and the invoices were left at your home. We were not informed that you wished to stop your services until September 26th and at that time all of your scheduled services had already been completed, the last one on September 3rd. We were advised only at that time of your disappointment with our services that had only started 2 months prior and offered to have a manager look at the lawns overall condition and advise and that offer was declined. On October 2nd we received another call suggesting the last fertilizer had been completed at the wrong house. It was too late to 100% verify if this had actually occurred so we offered a reapplication of the fertilizer to ensure our customer had received the services they had ordered, this offer was declined. On November 21st Brian offered to remove the charge for the fertilizer as this was the service in question and to close out the account at $58.46, for the late season weed control that was completed on August 28th. I have adjusted the account to reflect this new balance and I have also sent out a revised statement of your account. If you have any questions you can contact me.     weed control

    Trying to charge me for a service they did not do. Must have jump over the 7 foot fence after I cancelled the service. Will go to court if I have to have pictures and audio. destroyed my lawn.

    I have removed the final service bill for the fertilizer that you stated was not completed in your backyard. We take our service and our customer concerns very seriously and since I am not able to 100% verify if the fertilizer was completed in your back yard I have removed that bill. We had offered to have a senior advisor go out and verify weather or not this service was competed to both of our standards and if not we would of apologized and removed the bill, but unfortunately we were denied access to your property to confirm this. We acknowledge that one of our applications had caused some damage to a small area of bent grass on your property and had setup a repair to be done to fix this mistake and were advised to do it when you came back from vacation in August. At no time were we notified to cancel services and that is why your account was still active. I will send you a revised statement of your account showing a new balance, one without the last fertilizer on it. If there is anything else I can do please do not hesitate in calling my office.
