    Lawn care service

    After using them for a number of years, we found that they would constantly try to add services. We asked them to not call or offer us any other promotions. (we are even on the National Do Not Call List) This company continued to call us and tried to get us to take extra service we did not want. For this reason we stopped all contact with them. We would not recommend them to anyone. This spring we will look for a small mom & pop type business to take care of our lawn. After reading all the reviews here for Weed Man, I can see we are not the only ones to have problems. They must have one of the lowest ratings on Homestars?

We only call during the season about additional services if it was recommended by one of our technicians or senior advisors.     Lawn maintainance and Weed Control

    Service for front and back yard. They did not come when they said they would. If I was not at home they did not do backyard and had to everytime let them know service was not completed. Costantly called to offer more sevices and to charge more. Was annoying to have so many telemaketing calls from them. My yard does not look any better than my neighbours that had no treatment. Too expensive for the service they performed.

    Lawn weed removal and maintenance

    Now that lawn care companies cannot use pesticides, my lawn along with my neighbours have rapidly become weed havens! Although I did not find the non pesticide treatments as efficient at removing and deterring weeds, I will say that the Weed Man was willing to come as many times as I wanted and offered to manually remove the weeds if the treatments didn't work.

    Weedman lawn care

    I have been a very happy customer for 4 years and would like to say Thank you to Weedman Scarborough for the great service! I always find the technicians to be very profesional, curteous and helpful and the actual applications have always provied wonderful results. I have referred Weedman to many friends and family members who are also now happy with their lawn results and as an added bonus we both got a $ 25.00 bonus. Keep up the great work Weedman !

    weed removal

    I have called many lawn services about getting the weed removed from my lawn but none of them ended up doing the job. Ended up calling Weedman and was impressed how professional they were. They took care of everything as if it was their own lawn. Will recommend them to any of my friends.

    Weed control

    Have been using Weedman for 3 years now. Have not been impressed with their services so far. The first 2 years, I was told my their customer service reps that it takes a few years before seeing results. It is now the end of my 3rd year with them and I am still not happy with the results. When I ask them why I am not seeing improvements, they simply try selling me more services. I've told them that once I start seeing changes in my lawn, that I would then consider more services with them. I've had to make multiple calls throughout the spring and summer to remind them that I'm due for my lawn treatments. The response I ALWAYS get is "you were next on our list, it should be done sometime next week". Also, I've been getting daily phone calls from Weed man throughtout the fall as they try pre-selling me their services for next spring. I am no longer interested in this company and will stick to independent contractors that actually care about their services and their results.

    You should always notice a difference with each and every service that we complete on your property. It make take extra applications, at no charge to resolve weed issues, as an example. We offer the highest quailty product and the best price but if for any reason you feel that you are not receiving this type of service call my office. Some times it might be neccessary to add an additional service such as aeration too allow more air, fertilizer and oxygen to reach the root structure. The basic essential services that we sell is normally all you need to make your lawn look good, that an of course a partnership with our customer when it comes to, watering, cutting and seeding thin or bare areas of their lawn.     annual fertilizaer and weed control on lawn

    Good service. When weeds still appeared after weed spray, they came back and re-sprayed without argument. Always phoned before spraying. Courteous worker did the spraying, and even shot-sprayed some patio weeds for no additional charge.

    Lawn grass chemical application to eliminate weeds

    don't waste your money. They promised to make my lawn green and weed free, and that I won't have to pull out weeds every weekend, this is the exact opposite to what happened. My garden was full of weeds, ands their chemicals only weakened my grass. Worse thing is they kept following for payments for the the useless services the provided, I wasted up to 200$, and terminated their services. Very bad email follow up by company, they only contact you to suck money

    I am sorry that your experinece with us was not satisfactory. The products we use cause no negative effects to your regular grass. This was your first season with us and when we inspected the lawn in late May we found no weeds remaining in your backyard but the front lawn required another application which was completed at no charge. The next time we heard from you was an email in early August which we called and left you a message but never heard back from. Your second crop of weeds was starting to grow and your next scheduled weed control was due to come up early to mid August but your email stated that you were not happy with the weeds in your lawn and you had also sold your house. Three services over 2.5 months is enough to show a difference but not enough to remedy all your lawn concerns. The services are designed to improve your lawn over the entire season and to strenghen your grass and reduce the weed population dramatically. Steve Stronge Customer Service Manager

    Lawn Care

    This is my first year with a lawn care company, so I wasn't sure what I expect. I am happy that I decided to go with Weed Man Scarborough. The first weed control I got didn't kill much. I called customer service and the young lady that help me was great. She sent out a tech to respray and it was done in 5 business day and the respray was free. Overall, I am happy with the service and I plan to continue with the company.

    Weed and fertilizing on 2 acres for 4 applications

    More weeds than ever before. We have a large property and they were not able to service the whole thing because their hoses were not long enough even thought they said they could. I paid them for fertilizer and weed control although they did nothing. They harrassed me until they received payment because they said their guarantee is to come out as many times as it takes to get rid of weeds. When you call saying the weed control did nothing they say they have to send out a supervisor. Now you waste more time dealing with people. If they did their job properly from the beginning their would be no need to deal with supervisors and the office. Never, Never will deal or recommend to anyone.

    I adjusted the balance on your account and we resolved the concerns together in early Aug. When we spoke you were going to call me back in a couple of weeks and instead waited 2 months to call me and because I did not respond immediately you had someone else to the application for you. For 1 week of the year I was not available and I apologized for that but for 2 months I was and I never received the call back you said you would make. I had resolved the concern with you a couple of weeks ago the balance was already adjusted and you had decided to go with a private contractor who had a full size tracker that could drive across your over 2 acre property and spray your weeds. We both agreed he had a better machine to maintain your large property than my option of hand held wand applications manual spraying your entire property. You paid my office $357 for a fertilizer and weed control when the original price was $654. Your account has been closed and we will not be contacting you in the future I am sorry to say.
