    Lawn Care

    Appalling customer service. After terminating services with this company, they came by my house and continued to do work on my property in the morning when noone was home and sent a bill for the services which I expressly terminated beforehand. They made excuses saying that even if you terminate services with one department it doesn't go through to the department that gets the orders. Read the fine print, even if you ask for only two treatments, they'll come by without permission and then bill you for continuing services that you did not ask for. Would never recommend to anyone. Completely dissatisfied.

    I am sorry to hear of your disappointment with our service. If a customer chooses to discontinue their services with us they are provided the customer service line and email address to do so. Any department that may have contacted you does not have direct access to your account, "Read only" files. They will ask you to contact Customer Service for any inquires you might have including cancelling your services. Weed Man sells program services only to ensure the lawn is continuously maintained throughout the course of the season as partial programs only allow for only partial results. In a few cases with long standing customers we have applied spring services only to help with the selling of their home and then they would call us to cancel the remaining services and transfer it to their new property.     Lawn care

    We have used The Weed Man for 2 years now. They start application in April and we pay approximately $55 per application (this includes a few fertilizer applications as well as weed spray). We continued for a second year because we thought maybe the first year was needed to get rid of most of the weeds. However, we have noticed very little improvement in our "weed situation". They say they'll come back for additional applications if you aren't satisfied and we have done this as well...still lots of weeds. On top of a product that really doesn't work, I watched one of their employees apply their product this morning (if you could call it that). He simply sauntered up our lawn once, missing most of our lawn, and then left his invoice at the door. This was my last straw. I immediately called head office to cancel our service and was surprised again when I wasn't asked why we were cancelling from the girl in the office. It's like they don't care if they keep customers or not! We will never hire weed man again and I will definitely share our experience with other people! Don't waste your money on this unprofessional, unnecessary service.

    Service

    We have used Weed Man for most of the time we have lived here - approximately 18 years. This year we are moving and we did not sign up for their service (which we do every year, taking advantage of their discount offer). To my surprise they came and performed the spring fertilizing leaving us with bill. This service was not order or authorized. The business of being a continuous service company is not ethical. I tried resolving the issue over the phone and the agent was to talk to her supervisor. She never got back to me. I receive another statement in the mail, and email Weed Man to get the charge reversed, to which I received a phone call saying the charge will not be reversed. Well guess what? I will never sign up for Weed Man service again. They have lost a long time customer. And I will blast their company all over the media and they will lose even more customers. Their marketing / legal department needs to rethink their "continuous service" strategy. They will have to sue me. I will not go down quietly.

    Lawn care service

    Horrible company and horrible service. I was quoted with a lower price for lawn service so I cancelled my contract with another company. Then they never showed up until I called them and was told that my account was put on hold because I had to pay a much higher price, higher than any other company. I demanded to speak to the manager and the customer service representative told me the manager won't have time to talk to me. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

    WeedMan

    Weed Man completely and totally DESTROYED my newly sodded lawn while they were responsible for providing a healthy lawn on my property. When the Weed Man was finished with my lawn, the only thing left of an originally thick, luscious and green lawn was weeds, burnt grass and very little surviving green grass. Do not ever use this company. Weed Man is an unprofessional company that destroyed over $400 costs of recently laid sod, and they were paid approximately $329.00 to take care of a lawn that was in a healthy state, as per their original inspection report. The Weed Man admitted that the Weed Man was the reason that my lawn was burnt, and this was due to the Weed Man's inexperienced staff that apply the Fiesta weed control product that they use. Do not use the Weed Man for your lawn needs, they are reckless and do not educate their staff to take care of your lawn properly. The Weed Man cost me a lot of money and then they wanted more money to fix the problems that they admitted in writing that they did. My lawn is now a constant source of embarrassment and total frustration every day when it's not Winter. Do not use this company, I wish I never decided to, as the Weed Man has been one of my biggest mistakes. All being said, the Weed Man made the value of my home and my over all lifestyle much worse than what it was before they were involved. Do not use the Weed Man.

    Spray Weeds

    Weed Man called me in March about taking care of my lawn. Since I had a problem with dandylions I agreed. Last month they came to spray. They sprayed fertilizer. I asked if they could please spray for the dandylions. They said they would. When they did the one who sprayed it said that, "I sprayed fertilizer with weed killer." Well, not only did the dandylions NOT die, they flourished! Then they went to seed & my lawn looks AWFUL! I WILL NOT pay for the second application & I will NEVER call Weed Man AGAIN! I did call them & left a message but no one called me back. I've called another lawn care business and they will be coming next week to spray my dandylion field! IF YOU WANT A NICE LAWN DON'T CALL WEED MAN!!!

    Lawn maintenance

    Horrible horrible service...technician came and spent a few minutes spraying only the front lawn and then would put on bill that the whole lawn was sprayed...weed got worse than better. Paid for regrassing the lawn but never seen the service done. A waste of money.

    At Weed Man we always apply all of our services to our customer’s backyards first and then treat the front lawns. The reason for this company standard is that sometimes the backyard gate is locked and we are unable to treat the entire property, therefore we will not do just a portion of the lawn and call the customer back to reschedule the service call. Weed Man does not regrass/sod lawns so I am unsure if we were even servicing your property last year.     lawn care

    9056685166 - recognize that number? Very annoying calls form WeedMan. Have had only bad experience with them. They keep coming back and charge you regardless of your previous agreement. Was threatened with a 'personal house visit' when I refused. Hire your neighbour's kid to do your lawn. The work cannot be worse.

    I would like to commend Amelia for spending about 15 minutes on the phone with me patiently explaining each and every service, and what the breakdown was of the fees involved. Her exemplary customer service should be noted! I cannot understand the invoice: it lists the services I presently receive, followed by it's 'amazing offer' which states that I get 25% off, and 2 additional services. But then since I already have 2 of the 3 additional services listed, I don't get any additional services! so how is that an amazing offer? Just say, if you prepay, you can get 25% off. then list any additional service that I don't already have, and what it would cost to have it. Why is the invoice unnecessarily complicated? still deciding if I should do another year...

    Lawn Care

    We have used the Weed Man for many years are very satisfied with their efficient services and prompt response to any lawn problems. Courteous telephone calls precede each visit, employees sympathize with us regarding endless racoon problems and our guests comment on our lovely and weed free lawn. Being a "continuous" service company makes it very easy for us to keep our lawn in top condition year after year. We have already renewed for next year's services and feel that our money is well spent. Jane Crotin
