    Replaced Aquabrass shower thermostate cartridge

    Michael Aviv was recommended by the manufacturer of my shower system and now I know why. His responsiveness, punctuality and level of service was unparalleled, truly he deserves 15 out of 10. He gave advice on reducing future costs. Great timing allowed for same day service. Strange as it may sound, this was a very pleasant and positive plumbing experience. Use Aviv Plumbing without hesitation.

    subpump and toilet flush mechanism replacement

    Michael Aviv and his team replaced our sub pump and a toilet flush mechanism. It was the first time we use their service and we were impressed by the policy to provide an estimate over the phone rather than book a paid estimate visit which some companies employ. The fee was fair and reasonable. The team was efficient and resourceful with an unforeseen blocked pipe problem (no attempt to hike the fee). They left the work area clean and us satisfied. We certainly will call them first with any plumbing issue.

    Repair outdoor tap and valve

    A straightforward fix to an exterior tap with the addition of an indoor shutoff valve was done in the fall along with the winterization/shut-off. The tap was not used within the 6 month warranty expired and the tap pipe was discovered to be broken (frozen over the winter). The owner and employee were civil, but firm on the warranty limitation and didn't call back when given the option to fix the tap again as a new project. The owner was pleasant and maybe just caught up with bigger issues - would call him again.

    I wish I knew who posted this review. Please call back and I will have it repaired for you. It is our policy to only warranty against defect or poor workmanship on materials and items on the exterior and that require winterising. Seasonal cottages, cabanas and exterior hosebibs are all in this category as they have to be properly winterised and we have no control over this. I am sorry for the misunderstanding and am not sure why you were not called back as this rarely happens in my company. Please call my office and arrange for a service call or for a no charge assistance with the correct procedure for preparing your exterior plumbing for the winter.

    Locating water pipe knock

    Michael from Aviv came to our newly built home to locate a knock in our hot water pipe that the builders plumber could not find. Michael found it within 10 minutes. He was very helpful and informative and we were so happy that we found him. Michael is amazing.

    Washroom Refit

    I have found in Michael (and his team) a honest, professional and reasonably priced service. The work in our kids washroom was exceptional - no corners were cut and the quality speaks for itself. Your advice was over and above the call of duty and your customer care pre and post the work is especially noteworthy - a rare quality in the industry. I look forward to your ideas for the main washroom - we will definitely be in contact.

    Installing new bathroom fixtures

    Mike, the owner of Aviv Plumbing, did a fantastic job installing our new bathroom fixtures. Despite the fact that the marble counter installers drilled the wrong size hole for the sink, Mike returned to my house 3 times until the job was completed properly. He didn't complain or charge me extra even though the job took longer than anticipated (due to the error or the marble installers). He is pleasant, meticulous as well as neat & tidy. I would highly recommend him for any plumbing job ... big or small!

    Blocked drain - kitchen sink

    Drain in kitchen sink backed up on Sautrday night of a long week- end, prior to a large party I was hosting the next day. (Had used Aviv plumbing previously - Michael always very obliging, knowledgable & efficient.) Sent a text message to Michael - he responded IMMEDIATELY to call Jean, who was very reassuring & without delay, set up a time for 9 am the next day. Service was extremely prompt & the job was well done. Thank you to Michael & Jean for ongoing excellent customer service.

    fix leak, install new faucets and plumbing fixtures, referral to other trades

    Michael and his crew did a wonderful job in our home. He is very dependable, reliable, on time and cleans up after the work is complete. He helped us locate a bathroom leak, installed new faucets and was able to direct me to other trades to help complete our bathroom project.

    Repair of leaking shower fixtures

    Michael at Aviv is very familiar with Rubinet faucets & fixtures & was recommended by the company when I picked up replacement parts for our shower. He responded immediately to my call & came to Mississauga to complete the repair the next day. He arrived promptly, was friendly & professional and Installed the new parts quickly & efficiently. He was very knowledgeable & I would definitely call him again if I had any plumbing needs. I thought the price was within the expected range for a tradesman. I was very happy with the work & the overall service! Thanks Michael.
