About six years ago Otto's Masonry rebuilt the chimney on my 80-year old house with excellent results. They recently completed work on a new porch and other brick and stone repairs at my house. This company was a joy to work with. Otto clearly communicates with clients on when and what work will take place so there are no surprises. His crews were polite, well-spoken, worked hard and were diligent in ensuring everything was completed to my satisfaction. The result is beautiful. Otto's Masonry repaired a number of bricks on our Victorian house which were simply disintegrating after the hard winter as well as a number of cracks which had shown up. The process of getting a quote was very easy when compared to the rest of the companies I worked with and the price was very competitive. There was a little bit of a scheduling problem on the second day of the job but Otto was able to figure out a way to get the work done. I had some questions about bricks which needed to be repaired as well and Otto made sure that those got done as well before they called the job done. Overall, an excellent experience and will not hesitate to use them again!

Hiring Otto's Masonry to repair my chimney and brick replacement was the best choice made, we were happy with the finished product and would recomend them as an appreciation of their superior craftsmanship.

We used Otto Masonry to replace pillars on our front porch that over time were leaning out.  As the long term goal is to enclose the front porch, Otto suggested we replace the pillars with steel posts siting on concrete footings below the frost line as this would give us more space at less cost..  We got a reasonable quote from Otto and decided to proceed.  During the project we asked Otto how the steel would be protected from rust etc.    His team found a solution by encasing the posts in "Blue skin".  They then went another step by inserting  "SONO Tubes" around the posts and packing them with concrete to ground level.  The team was extremely professional and completed the projected well in time.

We used Otto's team a few years back to replace our crumbling chimney and they were so great then that when we had some brickwork that needed doing we called them again. We got a few other quotes but Otto's was the most comprehensive and was the only one who mentioned a side of the house that I forgot to point out to the other people who came to quote. I didn't need to point anything out to Otto, he took a good look and recommended it without me highlighting it. The others just only looked at the area I pointed out despite my request to let me know if they saw anything else wrong with the exterior of the house. His team showed up quickly (the next day after I confirmed we wanted to work with him) as it was going to be mild that day and completed the work earlier then expected. They matched our brick beautifully (we needed a number of bricks replaced) and parged the foundation part of the wall nicely. They cleaned up everything despite the fact that it started to snow pretty heavily and were really great about explaining what they did and why. I have recommended Otto's team to a number of friends and will continue to. Not only are they awesome at what they do - but they return phone calls when you want their service...bonus ;)

Otto's Masonry did a fantastic job managing and replacing an existing retaining wall to a basement walk-out that was failing. They built a new retaining wall and did all the coordination work with my structural engineer and the City. The job looks great and everyone was very professional. They also poured a beautiful concrete pad with raised curbs for our garbage screen. I am very pleased with all the work they did and would use them again in any upcoming masonry/concrete work at our house!

Otto and his crew did a spectacular job of rebuilding a crumbling back wall complete with a Victorian gingerbread type cascading stairs, at the 90 degree angle where wall met the ground. Otto's crew was polite, punctual and very clean. There was no mess and no fuss. I highly recommend Otto's Masonry.
