    chimney rebuild

    Ottos Masonry recently took down and rebuilt my very old chimney. The team was diligent, efficient and showed great attention to detail. Otto himself came by several times, first to make his own assessment of the right team to complete the job and then to ensure things were going well and safely. From the first contact to obtain an estimate to the final day I felt in good hands. I now have a very beautiful chimney. Thank you! I highly recommend Ottos Masonry.

    Stone work and Masonry service

    Porch and Steps

    Otto and his team did amazing work fixing a covered porch and stairs. The porch was above a cold storage and was leaking so they covered the porch with a waterproof membrane and laid stone on top. They also poured new concrete for steps and covered the steps with the same stone. They were communicative, reliable and the quality of the work was fantastic. The final cost was consistent with the original estimate. I would absolutely work with them again and would highly recommend.

    Re Pointing and Grading

    The time between calling for an estimate and having workers on site was about a month. The works were fast and efficient. Everything was completed in a timely and professional manner as per the estimate. Time will be the ultimate test but right now all parts of the construction/repair look great.

    Porch, stairs and walkway repair

    My experience with Otto's Masonry has been positive, from beginning to end. A lot of the mortar had fallen out of my mom's stone porch, and some of the stones were coming away, especially the ones holding the railing. I also had them cut back and reface the flagstone walkway that jutted into the driveway. The mason, Mario, was very experienced and kind, and I was really happy with how the job turned out. The porch, stairs and walkway feel safe now.

    Replacing damaged bricks

    Quick and fair quote. Started and finished project within timelines. Clean up after project finished. Friendly work crew and great communication with head office. Highly recommend

    New concrete steps!

    The concrete steps for our 1981 built house had started crumbling, and we needed a major fix. Otto provided a competitive quote. The project was much more involved than we had imagined and we were impressed with the team's approach and obvious expertise. At one point there was a (several day) rain delay due to the weather and they kindly installed wooden treads to out existing steps to make them safe while we waited  for the weather to improve. Throughout the work, which took almost 5 days, the team was pleasant and happily responded to any of our questions. Otto operates with integrity and stands behind the company's work.  We would highly recommend.

    Tuckpointing and parging

    I hired Otto's Masonry to help repair a damaged brick wall on my old house in downtown. They were extremely responsive and professional from the onset, and the work was top quality. Additionally, the team was friendly and did a fantastic job cleaning up each day. Highly recommend.

    move a doorway

    Didn't finish the job. We tried to get him back and he said it wasn't worth his time to come back, even though he was paid in full.
