    Repair of new Fridge

    The cost is zero as it was under warranty, We called them as our new Fisher Paykel fridge was leaking underneath after it was installed my a liecenced plumber. I called Totem to book an appointment told them it was under warranty and had a letter from Fisher Paykel stating the model, serial number and I am owner of the item and they said we need the reciept which I told her I didnt have at the moment as it was sent to Fisher Paykel hence me getting a warranty letter stating me as the owner. The person still wasn't going to assist me in booking so I went to a different repairman that was referred by Fisher Payke.

    Our Company performs service under warranty for many different appliance manufacturers; all of whom require us to submit a purchase receipt from the dealer where the appliance was purchased from along with our claim. If we fail to submit the receipt with our warranty claim, it will be rejected and we will not be compensated for the work performed, or any parts that are used to repair the appliance. We do empathize with a consumer who is seeking warranty service and is frustrated with this policy; however, we must adhere to the manufacturer's warranty procedure in order to successfully file a claim.

    Repair of Fridge

    I would say you cant get any better service. The repair service was done quickly and within our budget. The repairman did a very thorough job explaining what the problem was and tips to increase the longevity of our fridge. Totem is a solid choice for appliance repairs and I will use them again and recommend to friends!

    Appliance repair

    On time, fixed problem, they know what they are doing, very professional, they are not cheap but you get what you pay for, third time I have used them, if their price were say 25% lower I would highly recommend them to my my cheap friends/family because they would perceive them as expensive.

    Dryer service

    The serviceman arrived within the given time frame to fix our fairly new dryer which had stopped heating during drying cycle. Our dryer is a full size stacker and he didn't have to remove the closet door where the washer/dryer was and he just climbed up the ladder to reach behind the dryer to fix whatever was wrong with it. Quick, efficient service. left a business card when he left and asked us to call if the problem persists.

    Fix gas stove igniter

    I have called Totem Appliance many times to fix many appliances and I have always found them to be very professional and courteous and to provide top notch service. I would call them again.

    Dryer repair

    They gave me an approximate time of arrival, called to confirm, provided service with detail, and completed the job in a timely fashion. Couldn't ask for more. also advised specifically what the problem was.

    fridge broke

    This place gets a 4 - star on promptness, punctuality, and professionalism. Was referred to them through Amana to have a look at my fridge. They called in a timely manner and showed up when promised. The repairman was courteous and kept me in the loop on the job.

    Fridge repair

    Totem came out to repair a gasket and replace the ice-maker. Both are expensive parts, which is we couldn't do anything about. The work was done well and the installation rate was ok. My only complaint was that they didn't tell us when we made the first appointment that the parts weren't in stock. The serviceman came out to look at the fridge, but we didn't know until he arrived that he would need to come back two weeks later to do the work once the parts were available.

    repair dishwasher

    Have a stainless steel Jenn Air dishwasher that I've had recurring problems with the rubber seal. This repairman was very reliable (came when he said he would and was knowledgable about whatwas wrong Gave me helpful tips to eliminate problem in future. .

    WORST SEVICE EVER!!! AND I MEAN EVER!!!

    I have had a washer/dryer from Totem for 3.5 months. It has broken 3 times and been replaced once already. Each service took over 2 weeks to complete. It is broken again, waiting for a part, now for 6 WEEKS. I call EVERYDAY and no one can help me, or tell me anything. They promice a call back and NEVER DO. I have been calling to speak with the Manager for 9 days, finally got him on the line today and HE HUNG UP ON ME because I was angry. No S*** I was angry, it's been 6 weeks of nothing, no apologies no service and no respect. Do your self a BIG favour and DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. They are RUDE - UNPROFESSIONAL and USELESS. I even called the Alberta location looking for someone higher up to complain to only to discover that the Burnaby branch where they SUCK is Head Office. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. A 2year old will give you better service and in shorter time.
