    Love it

    We built our home in 1975 and installed the system ourselves during construction. I have no complaints other than I have had to replace the power head. We did replace our canister about 10 years ago but that was mainly because we had added more hose outlets and thought a more powerful one was needed. We have many door to door salesmen trying to sell their product and as soon as they hear we have a Vacuflo system they give me their business card, thank me and leave. Would definitely install Vacuflo if we were to build another home and highly recommend the system to others who are building as well.

    Worst Cental Vacuum ever

    I have had a number of different Cental vacuums in different homes. We purchased our unit two years ago and it is just awful. It suddenly stops and I have to go hit the reset. The filters are expensive, particularly when you have to change them every 3 to 4 months. I have had to take apart the power head at least 4 times as the brushes quit working, so had it with this system I am ready to junk it and get a Beam like in my last home which gave me no problems in 8 years!

    Hi Sheila. I'm so sorry to hear you have had a bad experience with your central vacuum system. I would recommend that you call your local Vacuflo dealer in Kelowna though as I am sure they will be able to help. Sheila, your description on your vacuum "having to change filters every 3 to 4 months" does not describe a Vacuflo system as our systems, being the patented true cyclonic separation system that does not require any filters or bags,do not have any filters that have the dirt drawn onto them, such as the Beam does that you are familiar with. Perhaps look at the brand name on your canister to confirm what brand you do have, and if it is in fact a Vacuflo please do call your local Vacuflo dealer in Kelowna to assist you.     vacuum service

    I am an architect that designed and built my own house, so that’s why we called Vacuflo to get a built-in vacuum. It’s been like 20 years since it was installed but it still works really well. And everything has been fine working with the company. I would highly recommend them to people who want a vacuum system for their home.

    vacuum system

    Vacuflo did a vacuum system for my whole house and indoor pool. It’s so convenient to use and I’m very happy with it. The price was quite reasonable considering the size of my house is pretty big. And the installers were great about getting everything done themselves without me having to call them and ask them to finish the job. They always followed up by themselves. I would definitely recommend them.

    built-in vacuum

    I decided to make the switch to Vacuflo after doing some research online. I bought a vacuum from them for my new house, but I haven’t used it since I haven’t moved yet. So this review is based on my experience with the sales guy and the installation. Sales-wise everything was okay. I didn’t have any problems. Unfortunately, the installation was another story. There were some communication issues with the installer who came. In my opinion, he also had some anger management problems. I told Vacuflo not to send him again, but they did anyway which I did not appreciate. The sales guy I would give a 4 out of 5 and the installer a 2 out of 5.

    Vacuums

    We first used Vacuflo when we renovated our house 10 years ago, their office was quite close, and we’ve been using them ever since. They’ve always been very knowledgable and prompt. Never had any issues. We also had a Hide a Hose Vacuum installed in our cottage which I love. It goes right into the wall so you can’t see it. To be honest I never compared prices but I think theirs are fine and it’s good service. I would highly recommend them. I would give them a 10 out of 10.

    vacuum system

    I bought my second vacuum from Vacuflo this past year and so far so good. I haven’t had any issues and I’m quite happy with it generally. I would have liked if it came with a few more attachments, instead of having to pay extra for the individual pieces, but their prices are comparable to other systems out there. Would recommend them.

    Vacuflo Central vac

    I put in the vacuflo bagless system a few years ago. Although the suction is good I do not like the bagless system. It is very messy to clean up the canister and the unit whenever the you have to maintain it. Its ok if you only have to empty the bottom "tank" but you have to clean the upper part too. There really is no good way to clean it without getting up there with your hands and brushing the screen and pull out all the gunk. Dust all over. You better be wearing a mask. Terrible. If I knew this prior I would have gladly gone with the bag system.

We do suggest to our clients when cleaning the screen they wrap a garbage bag around the bottom of the canister and then reach up and clean the screen on the vacuum through the bag.     Central Vac installation

    Susan must be the most patient and helpful person ever to have the dubious pleasure of getting my business! She answered multiple queries via email and sent me loads of information on request. She was fantastic and prompt in explaining the various options to me. When it turned out that the machine I eventually ordered was in fact the wrong one, she replaced it with no questions asked, even packing it in my car!

    Hide a hose

    I really wanted to get rid of my central vac hose as it was taking too much space in my house. I discovered Hide a Hose at the Home Show and was immediately hooked by how it worked. It was a challenge to have it installed in our finished house though but Wendy and Roger came to our house a few times and figured out a solution that fitted our needs. The service was excellent and the product worked just as I had hoped it would. Wendy was always ready to address all our questions and concerns. The blue hose that comes with the hide a hose is very light and does not kink at all - problems that we always had with our previous hose. We had a 50' hose installed and it is a breeze to vacuum our whole main floor. I just love watching the hose getting sucked in the pipes, out of the way, after I'm done vacuuming.
