I made a service call - response was prompt, professional, actual work was not 'intruding', reasonably priced. All activities were well explained, documented. Possible upgrades to the system were presented by a technician in factual manner.

We recently purchased a new home that already had an existing security system in place. We wanted to have someone local because we felt that it was important to have a good reputable company that has been well established in the community to service our alarm system rather than a large, national company. We contacted Canadian Security Team and Debbie was able to answer many of our questions over the phone and scheduled Dave to come out to check out our system. Once Dave came over, he looked at the equipment and suggested various options that we could think about. Throughout the whole process, Dave was able to answer all our questions and provide some insight. On the day the technician was to installed our system, he ran late because of an emergency at another client's, and Debbie called me promptly to let me know of the delay. This was definitely nice to know as most companies don't bother letting you know that they're going to be late. The install was clean and the whole system was explained thoroughly to us. It has definitely been a pleasant experience.

When my car (which was parked in my driveway) was broken into during the night, it left me with a feeling of uneasiness. I contacted the Canadian Security Team and booked someone to come out and review my security requirements. The owner himself, Tom Smetana, came out and walked me through what my options were and I was surprised that he didn't try to sell me a bunch of stuff that wasn't really required (I was ready to turn my house into Fort Knox). Tom really impressed me with his knowledge and the time he took explaining every part of the system. He even pointed out things I hadn't even thought of (like the sump pump alarm which saved me from redoing my Basement the following Spring when the pump got clogged). The installation was quick and painless and I really liked that the tech (Andrew) didn't leave any wires dangling all over my house for the new security devices. The cameras installed with the DVR gave me great piece of mind and I can even watch the cameras from my phone! The Canadian Security team were professional, courteous, and didn't sell me stuff I didn't need. I really appreciated their honesty and look forward to them installing the new system in my future house. A++++

I am a new client, and thus far think that The "Team" here is incredible -- there are no pressure sales and they offer up practical advice that makes sense. I've been with them for several years and they always provided impeccable service. Plus they don't try to oversell you on features you don't truly require. Unlike another big-name organization that has a habit of saying you NEED certain types of add-on features to their system when really you don't. CST offers superior security coverage for both reasonable installation fees and monthly monitoring rates. I am also for supporting locally-owned Canadian companies and these guys fit that bill. I wouldn't even think of using anyone else.

The Canadian Security Team is a great team. They are friendly and professional. The company is based in Ottawa and keeps on growing every day because of the fantastic service they provide. They are always there when we need them and their service is very reasonable. Count on them for your home safety.

Very dedicated and professional company, quoted the work and worked the quote. Everything was exactly as expected. Follow up has also been equally professional, they show up when they said they would and fixed the issues the first time. Great working with them for over 15 years.

I previously had my alarm system set up with a national company. I had new windows installed and felt it was time to replace my old, out-of-date system. I got great recommendations about CST for both their price and service. I have not been disappointed. I love the personal service and the care taken to treat me like I am a valued client. The monthly monitoring is over $120.00 less per year than the previous monitoring rates. Plus, CST is in my community.

I like the fact that having my alarm system monitored lowers the cost of my home insurance. More times then not the response team at the monitoring station are more then helpful. I feel good knowing my family is safe when they are asleep as the monitoring station is watching 24/7. Also when I am away my dogs are safe they can not call for help should a fire start up, they don't need to with CST on the job.
