    New custom build roof

    We are in the process of building our dream house and knowing how important the roof is for protecting it; we didn't want to make a mistake by hiring "just any" roofing contractor or the lowest bidder. We were looking for a high quality product installed by a reputable and professional company. We are so happy with our choice. The team at Herb Lodde and Sons was excellent throughout the entire process of working with us from quoting, requoting, scheduling, installing, working around a delay caused by another trade and coming back to complete the job. We were quite concerned about installing the roof over the winter since we obviously didn't want to have issues with the roof not sealing but Rob, Manny and Dave talked us through how they install differently in the winter and their warranty gave us peace of mind to proceed. Their quality was put to the test quickly with the windstorms in our area that caused so much damage to other new roofs around--- we didn't have a single issue or any damage to the roof at all. We are completely happy to recommend Herb Lodde and Sons to anyone looking for high quality workmanship and a great overall experience.

    Quick and professional

    Right from the initial contact we were pleased. Very responsive and professional when they came for the estimate. Answered all our questions with ease. Install occurred very quickly which was ideal due to the wind damage we suffered. Clean up was as expected. Just do a quick check after the large bin is removed for an loose debris left after wards. All in all it was painless and looks great! Would recommend to others.

    Shingle repairs and re-roof at rental property

    Original roof at rental property was poorly constructed when built about 9 years ago and consequently, we have had shingle lifting and damage for the past 3 winters during episodes of heavy winds. After each wind storm where roof damage was incurred, we contacted Herb Lodde and Sons Roofing and they handled the shingle repairs in a professional and timely manner. We have now decided to proceed with a complete re-roofing at the rental property because we know that Herb Lodde will provide an exemplary product and excellent workmanship. They are definitely a reliable and outstanding firm and can be trusted to solve this ongoing roofing issue once and for all. The onsite crew are respectful, professional and ensure a safe and clean work site. The office team is always helpful and efficient and Ken, who provided the re-roofing estimate, was prompt, courteous and helpful. Herb Lodde also did a large re-roofing project on our main house and they did such an outstanding job, that we wanted them to handle the rental property as well. We are customers for life!

    Would not hesitate one second to recommend

    Many companies like to talk about their values, principles and integrity. Sadly, when it comes to delivering on their promise, they either fall short or do “just enough”. I have rarely seen a company live up to their brand promise, and even more rarely surpass it. I am a tough critic and will not give a company a 10 just for showing up and doing what they said they would do – they need to go above and way beyond. Herb Lodde & Sons did just that. In Dec, sadly my father passed away, - the next day, there was an awful thunderstorm and water started to drip into my mother’s living room. Most companies I called said they were not able to do anything until spring. When I called Herb Lodde & Sons, Ken, the Sales Rep, said he would come right over. He did explain the challenges of working in the cold, but felt they had a solution that would work in our case. He gave us a number of options on how to proceed. At the end, we agreed on his initial recommendation. He cautioned that his quote was based on what he was able to see without removing the shingles, and that if the damage was bad, they would need to replace the plywood and insulation at an extra charge. Before leaving, and at no charge, Ken even offered to tarp tarped the bad section as to minimize any damage in the meantime. He carefully sealed all the edges and made sure that no more water came into the house, taking his time to make sure it was done right. When the crew showed up, they did a great job, were polite and respectful, and cleaned up after themselves when they were finished. They told my mom that other than the shingles, everything was sound and no additional work (or charges) were required. She was extremely pleased with the whole experience. In the process of fixing the roof, however, they removed the satellite dish and somehow cracked it. I wasn’t surprised as the unit was very old. I called and left a message explaining the situation. The next day, the owner of the company came by to see the work for himself - and the dish. He was very apologetic and offered to pay for a new one. A week later someone from the company came by to clean my mom’s the chimney free of charge, as during the inspection, the owner saw that is was very dirty and dangerous. I believe it was his way to make things right about the dish. I want to thank Herb Lodde & Sons for the kindness shown my mom during a difficult time. In addition to doing a great job, they treated us more than fairly, and with honesty and respect. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

    Roof

    Great company . Would highly recommend . Excellent workmanship really happy with my new roof. Great crew, polite hard working. It was a really rough job but, Herb Lodde Roofing did great work

    Complete roofing

    Staff were here when they said they would be. They were very polite and courteous at all times. Cleaned up at the end of each working day. Finished the job at scheduled time.     New roof

    My roof was in desperate need of new shingles and repair. I was shopping around for quotes and then a friend of mine recommended Herb Lodde & Sons Roofing. I gave them a call and spoke to Rob, the construction estimator. Rob was very professional and was able to go and see the job and get me a quote very quickly. His price was fair and they did an excellent job! The office staff is all very polite and kept in contact with me from the start of the job to completion. I would recommend this company in a heartbeat and rate them 10 out of 10. They're professional, reliable, efficient and have excellent communication and customer service.

    Landmark Gorgeous WeatherWood

    A crazy windstorm caused us to call Herb Lodde as our insurance company requested a couple quotes. Ken Mcquiggan was first on the scene and provided me with pictures and a quote. Ultimately the insurance company is paying the lion share of this job but we wanted good quality and great curb appeal. After a couple rain delays which were not Herb Lodde’s fault they banged out our job in 1 day. Including Stripping. Lisa and I are very pleased and would recommend these guys to anyone looking for a premium roofing company. Thanks Guys. Manny was happy to take our cheque which was easy to give!!

    Roof and eavestrough

    great response from the receptionist, the estimator and the men who did the job. Courteous on the phone and a quick response for an estimate. the men who did the job were friendly and polite, quiet(which was appreciated) and did a thorough cleanup. ( i have called re one shingle which has lodged in the front eaves trough and hope will be removed at their convenience) . Great people. Would recommend

    Roof Re-shigling

    We needed to have our roof re-shingled and selected Herb Lodde using the HomeStars web-site and were very pleased with the service including all interactions with the office staff, Jason in sales, and the installation crew. Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
