We had an excellent experience dealing with Andy. He was very professional and accommodating. He was prompt, efficient and left the work area tidy at the end of each work day. The job was to make major modifications to the bathroom for my elderly mother with mobility issues. Andy was very thoughtful throughout this process and we are delighted in the end result. His workmanship and attention to detail are quite obvious. I would highly recommend Andy and wouldn't hesitate to have him back for our next project.

Andy and his team renovated the bathroom of our elderly parents and also consulted on other work that needed done their home. It was done very efficiently, neatly and cost effective for their budget. Our parents trusted Andy and we did not have to be there while the work was being done. We would highly recommend Quantum Contracting.

We were introduced to Andy by one of the contractors who did some work for us in the past. Our project consisted of demolishing our en-suite bathroom and rebuilding same. After talking to three contractors we decided on Andy as he was courteous, very approachable, precise and came recommended by another contractor whom we knew. The project took two weeks during that time they completed the tiling of the walls (9 ft), floor and shower stall. They also installed rain shower, glass shower door, toilet, lights, mirror, vanity and taps. Andy was very accommodating as we had few more tasks to be completed which we did not discuss with him at the beginning. We are happy that we selected Quantum for our job. They finished the work on time cleaned and left. We found the quality of work excellent and Andy's children who worked with him had the same qualities like Andy. Our basement was finished, but very dark, dated and chopped up. Andy designed a new space for us. He and his crew opened up the interior, added beautiful laminate floors, a gorgeous powder room, and two fantastic storage closets. A fresh coat of paint, new windows, lighting and trims and we have a bright welcoming extra living space that we are very happy with and use everyday ?. Thank you so much Andy and Crew...Great Job!

Andy from Quantum 1st did work for our family several years ago and has always done an amazing job. It did not matter if he was redoing a kitchen, finishing a basement or doing a complete gut job on my parents new home, we were always amazed by the quality of his work and how perfect the end results were that when it came time for us to redo all the bathrooms in our home we never even thought to call anyone else. He started on time, was completely reliable, answered any questions we had during the process and worked with us to give us exactly what we wanted. The subcontractors he used were great too. Living through a reno is never easy but Andy was always pleasant to have around and went above and beyond for us even fixing our kitchen sink, installing a new tap and fixing a broken drawer in our bedroom suite that had been in need of repair for years. Thanks to Andy and Quantum we have 3 brand new bathrooms that we love and are proud to show anytime anyone comes over.

As my wife says - you can trust him. Very professional, knows his stuff, brings in excellent sub-contractors for specialized work (laying floors, mudding and taping, laying tiles, roofing for vents in bathroom and certified electricians), each artists in their own profession and very personable. Andy provided a detailed schedule, reasonable rates, explained what he was doing, would reach out if there were options to consider (such as extra outlets, where to hang the island lights, exact placement of the shower glass, etc.). He also reduced spacing around ducts to maximize cupboard space or re-level the plumbing as the builder had taken short cuts. He is excellent with his finishing work as well; painting is well done, trim is good; the back-splash is flawless, rough-in for water for a future fridge, etc.. Products he selects (plumbing and lighting) are all top quality. He works closely with the cabinet maker and marble/granite counter-top companies to ensure all the timelines line up. He is careful and thinks things through, such as laying down floor coverings, putting down cardboard before pushing the fridge or stove back into place; hanging up dust cloths and coverings to isolate work areas. He was initially recommended by our kitchen cabinet maker (Applewood Kitchens) and we're glad we went with him. So much so that we went straight back to him for our ensuite bathroom. Very happy with the results. Kitchen was done in 2016 and the ensuite bathroom in 2017. we have also used some of his sub-contractors for additional work around the house.

We have used Quantum Contracting for the past 20 years and have recommended Andy to many friends who have also used him for various renovations big and small. My first experience was a front covered porch with custom woodworking and from the quality of that work we had Andy do a complete basement renovation approx. 1200 sq ft. We then used Andy again when we moved for a very large widow replacement plus other regular sized windows including the changing of a patio door to a garden door. Terry Milley

Redoing our kitchen was our last major home reno - for many reasons - the cost, it would be disruptive, and where do you even start looking for a great contractor?  Our last concern was solved when we saw a basement that Andy did.  Honestly, it was the nicest family room, laundry room, bathroom, furnace room we had ever seen.  No detail was missed - it was beautifully done and every space utilized. We met with Andy and knew right off he was the man for the job.  He listens to all your concerns, ideas, opinions and he has lots of professional experience to offer ideas of his own to enhance your reno.  I'm an incredibly picky person with an obsessive attention to detail and Andy lived up to and surpassed my high standards. He was here when he said he'd be, did the job in the time he said he would, the work site was tidied up spic and span at the end of every day, all the trades he deals with were also here when they said they'd be and also did a great job.  His price was reasonable and it didn't change - what he quoted us is what it was, right to the end. As for our disruptive concern - what should have been a couple of painful weeks was really not all that bad.  And our kitchen?  We absolutely love it!!  In fact we've had Andy back for other minor fixer uppers that we've needed.  We would highly recommend Andy to do your home renos - top notch person and top notch work.
